2 Chapter - 1: Why Blake Hates High School DxD...

A scream sounded throughout a street of Kuoh Town and it was mine!

" Fuck! Motherfucker! Cocksucker! Damnit!" A few more curses left my mouth.

...If you could tell...I hate High School DxD. I really-really-really hate High School DxD with the passion of a kid past bedtime making a late-night snack. You know what I'm talking about. Don't lie.

"... It's fucking real?" I went slumped.

Sighing, I got up and sat against my soft brown headboard We got it from our Great-Great Grandpa who took care of Us after our Father and Mother died in a mysterious plane crash on their way home when I was six.

My oblivious past aside, let's make this clear; I don't hate Issei. No. I just don't like the dude and would never want myself involved with somebody like him.

The other thing is his Submissiveness. It's one thing to be weak in front of your wife (actually that's quite how real life works for the most part if you actually get to that part in life) but to lower your head to literally EVERYONE and let them lead you by the nose and control your life to the point where your children hate you for being an absentee and your rival is more of a father to them than you are when you're the FUCKING WAR HERO AND ONE OF THE STRONGEST BEINGS IN THE WORLD is fucking unbearable!

Next is the Harem. The number of girls in the Harem is getting out of hand. Recent additions don't even have a proper introduction or some of them don't even have a character at all (I'm pointing my finger at you, Le Fay). And for the love of everything that is motherfucking Holy, let the guy have sex already. Don't make it explicit. Just saying that they had sex, even indirectly is fine. Even in SAO, they said they had sex, and it isn't even an ecchi series! That new excuse that Ishibumi came up with that Issei wants to have his first time with everyone doesn't make any fucking sense!

... Fortunately, there was someone down a bag of weed, a few packs of noodles, and down a few boxes of Coffee.

...That someone was Me.

I just wanted to know. And so I began my interrogation on High School DxD...

One week later, zero days of rest, and ten pizza boxes down, I found it! And I was oh-so-happy!

For one; Most of the Villains are badly written. The Villains are just there for the sake of being Evil and have no good motivation. The Villains have zero purposes and didn't really bring anything new to the story. They are just one-note Villains with no motivation. They were either weak, boring, or generic. The only Villains that I like were Cao Cao, and Siegfried from the Hero Faction and did find Freed Sellzen funny and Rizevim was an okay Villain. But the rest of the Villains are poorly written and are shit.

Two! - The vast majority of haters hated how every single girl Issei sees starts to like him and keep being added to his ever-growing harem, literally the second you see a new girl come into the light novel.

Three; Issei is always the one to fight and take down the villains. It just gets old and tiresome after a while. The villains are just there to show how overpowered Issei is. Ishibumi takes the Escapist aspect of his Character too far.

Four; The whole drama between Issei and Rias in volume 10/Hero episode 8 was so unnecessary. Rias just come off as a spoiled princess and a crybaby overreacting just because Issei couldn't say her bloody name. And the way how Rias made the whole thing about herself and didn't even think about Issei's feelings. And how the Occult Research Club and even his childhood friend all gang up on Issei and berated him for accidentally upsetting Rias. The Occult Research Club and Irina acting like such fucking ungrateful little fucking wankers toward the one person who helps them all with their problems.

Five - Most hate the favoritism that the Author, Issei, and the other characters have toward Rias. And how Issei always goes on about how perfect Rias is. It just gets really annoying fast.

And finally Six - Most hated how most of the female characters are always been used as fan-service material all the time and not having many awesome fight scenes. Xenovia and Irina are the only female characters that have the most fight scene out of the other female cast. While the other female characters are in the background fighting other enemies.

...All in all? High School DxD is an alright Anime. It is still an alright anime with good humor and a nice story to watch. If you don't like DxD you probably just don't like Harem or Ecchi. And I liked both very much, or so said the sexy nerd girl who fixed my laptop after I split Coffee on it when I was killed by The Bed of Chaos for the seemingly hundredth time.

"...Fuck it. I'll see what this World has to offer me." I sighed.

...Maybe this won't be a bad thing after all. Maybe I do take things related to Anime and Video Games too far and deep like Dr.Frances Quinzel said...
