The two could be seen walking through a densely populated street surrounded by elves. Art looked around curiously at all the odd things available, like weird fruits he had never seen, materials from animals being turned into clothes, items and much more

Along the way Art accidently bumped into someone, though it was more they guided themselves into Art's shoulder and blamed it on him. "Disgusting, I got human germs on me. Bow down your mere human and apologise, just because elder Virion likes you doesn't mean you belong here."

Tess got annoyed at this person blatantly discriminating against Art and causing problems. Art however spoke up before Tess since he wanted play with the arrogant elf a bit. "Come on Tess we should leave, we shouldn't associate with elves of lesser status. We might catch rabies from these wild mutts."

The arrogant elf was enraged hearing the words Art said. "You monkey, how dare you speak to me like that. I am Feyrith Ivsaar III, my status is something a mere human monkey would never be able to compete with."

"Wow your stupid. Do you really thing if I had no status, I would be allowed to stay in the elven kingdom. If you grovel at my feet and hand over all the money you have for compensation for damaging my clothes and bothering me and Tess, then I might just allow you to leave."

Feyrith was now enraged and his anger blinded him of any thoughts that Art might actually have some status. "You damn human, how dare you go against the Ivsaar family. For the pride of my family, I challenge you to a duel."

Tess was about to come forward but Art stopped her and patted her head. "Tess, leave this to me. I am master's disciple; I should show people that it wasn't for no reason. How about this, after this is done, I treat you to lunch?"

She agreed since she saw how strong Art was when sparing against Virion the other day. She was mostly worried about the Feyrith since he was still nobility, so him being destroyed by a human would not be good for them.

Tess stood to the side, to mediate the duel. Feyrith kept on spewing how he is superior all the way till Tess started the duel. "Start!"

Feyrith charged forward with arrogance still shouting about his superiority. "Human, you poor soul. To go against the great me, I bet you can't even see me right now due to my superior speed. I will end this quick so as to not prolong your torture."

Speeding towards Art he jumps in the air and goes for a flying kick towards Art. Although he says he is quick, its only a bit faster than a kid running full speed. For Art it was like he was running a snail's pace.

Art stood their unimpressed and waited. Feyrith thought himself too good for Art to comprehend his move, but when Art grabbed his shin a few inches from his face and held him mid-air, he suddenly realised how wrong he was.

Since Art didn't want to kill the elf, he instead settled for crushing his pride. "You call this fast; you are a pathetic excuse for an elf. Even Tess is faster that you. I am Elder Virions disciple; you really think he would accept me if I wasn't special. You will now pay for your arrogance."

*crack* the sound of a bone snapping could be heard at Art clenched down on Feyrith's shin. Art then threw Feyrith back and at insane speeds his fist smashed Feyriths face sending him even further back.

Knocked out cold Art turned to leave with Tess who sighed but ultimately knew that it was the fault of Feyrith for messing with Art. Though she couldn't help but be a little conflicted at the damage Art caused.

"Art why did you break his leg? You could have easily have subdued him without causing him much harm. Was that not a bit over the top?"

"Yes, it was indeed over the top but that is what I was going for. You saw his arrogance and pride, if he ever left the elven kingdom and kept that same attitude when meeting humans or other races then it would not end well.

By being over the top I hopefully have shattered that pride he has. Also, he disrespected Master Virion and thought of you as nothing more than a toy to be passed around to the person of higher status. I'd say he deserved it; now where do you want to go for lunch? We will eat at your recommendation."

"Really? Then I know a super nice place that offers ice cream. Let's eat there."

"Wait you want ice cream for lunch? I'm in, sounds nice. Do you know if they do cookie dough?"

"Whats cookie dough?" Tess was confused since she had never heard of cookie dough.

"Oh, it's a thing from home. Guess they don't have it here, its super delicious though and when either cooked or combined raw with ice cream is a godly combination. If we have the ingredients, then I can make some when we get back later."

Holding hands Tess lead them towards a cosy looking building stuffed with people. Outside the door was a long que which would take at least 30 minutes before they got in, but Tess walked straight passed them and in through the door.

The guard standing their also didn't get in their way, as if it was a normal thing. Inside the building was a beautiful room made of wood with amazing hand carvings around the room of flowers and many other things.

Every single table in the room was full, no spare seats and barely any places to stand. That is except for in the corner of the room, where a table which looked much better than all the others was empty. She led Art their and they sat down, she then handed Art the menu

A waitress soon arrived and patiently waited in front of the table. Art looked through the menu and just chose normal ice cream since he didn't know what many of the various fruits and toppings are.

Tess did even bother looking at the menu and the waiter also didn't ask for her order. The waitress left swiftly to deliver their order. While they where waiting Tess and Art started to talk. "Tess, do you own this place or something. Its clear the waitress knows you enough to not even need to take your order and you just strolled in here and onto this table."

"My family doesn't own this place, but I am a regular customer. I eat here all the time, mostly with some of the maids from the palace since mother and father are busy.

Since my parents donated lots of money while this place was struggling a while back, I get my own seating area and custom ice cream."

Their conversation continues until the waitress comes back out not long later with a tray with 2 bowls on it. Art was hesitant eating ice cream since he wasn't sure how good it would be compared to earth's but after tasting it, he found it even better.

After their ice cream lunch, the two decided to do some shopping since Art needs clothes, books and other stuff. With Tess acting like a girl with a new toy, she had Art constantly take off and try on many different types of clothes.

Eventually they ended up buying over 10 full clothing sets which the maids held as they continued shopping. Since Art was given a lot of money for a reward for saving Tess, she went and bought herself a mountain of the latest clothes and jewellery.

After clothes shopping, Art wanted to take a look at weapons so they started searching for some smithies. Tess guided him to the most well known and popular ones but after looking in them he was a bit disappointed. He was hoping for a gritty and dark place made of thick stone, filled with hidden gems and cursed weapons.

Instead, he got polished and neat looking places. Although the weapons looked good and he is no expert on weapons he still would prefer to test his luck and look for a hidden gem smithy.

Tess then guided him to the worst looking smithy's and least well known. Eventually they came across a shabby looking building, with parts of the wooden beam's charred from the intense heat spilling out from the backroom and the stones having permanent ash stains covering them.

'This is it. This is exactly like the smithy's described in novels. The ones with a legendary black smith within and everything inside being a concealed gem.'

Art walked in with excitement, hoping for this to be one of those places. However, reality was cruel and when he entered, instead of hidden gems all he saw was broken, crooked and equipment that doesn't even look correctly made.

The boss came out from the back and there was nothing odd about him, he seemed like every other bum blacksmith. Art looked at every weapon hoping to find a secret but nothing was there. He asked the black smith many questions hoping to test his knowledge and see if he has the normal tsundare character the hidden black smiths are known for.

Instead, the black smith was near begging him to buy something. Art was disappointed but just in case he missed something he asked to see all the weapons that are actually complete, not the jumbled garbage shown around.

The black smith hurriedly grabbed stuff from the back and brought out a clump of weapons. Swords, daggers, hammers and types of armour.

Art checked through them all and saw nothing hidden or secret, just garbage weapons made by a bad smith. One thing however drew his attention, and that was bow that was within the collection on weapons.

He picked it up and found it to be made of metal, it wasn't heaven defyingly heavy like the standard hidden gem bows are, but instead found it light, too light in fact.

It weighed the same as a normal bow, yet was made of metal. "Hey blacksmith, who made this bow? Unlike the garbage that is barely a weapon, this is actually finished, so it's clear you didn't make it."

"Yes, esteemed sir. I indeed didn't make that bow. It is something I found left over when I bought the smithy from the previous owner. That bow is unusually light but since it's made of metal, no one is able to draw it back so its quite useless.

The price of that is 1 gold."

"1 gold! Every other weapon in here is worth but a few coppers yet you are making this a whole gold. Do you see that girl at the entrance, that is princess Tessia, while I am the ex-king Virions disciple? You dare try to scam me?"

"Ri…Right. My mistake, I thought of the wrong item. It is 1 copper, I forgot please forgive my mistake."

"I am not unreasonable; I will pay 1 silver but I recommend you don't make that kind of mistake again. Even if you are hard on money, if you tried doing that to someone else then they would either just leave and not buy anything or kill you and take it."

Art paid the greedy smith who was sweating buckets as he tried to scam royalty. For him the bow was indeed only worth 1 bronze, but he wanted to take advantage of the fact there was interest in the item and they seemed rich.

His need for money after not selling an item for many months made him almost make an irreversible mistake. Art saw nothing special about the bow except its light weight but that's what drew him to it.

He handed the bow to the maids and told them to place it in his room when they get back. He plans to have Virion look at it to see if there is anything secret but even if there isn't Art thinks it should be a decent weapon.

Since it is already strung with a string, then it means the metal used is flexible enough to actually be pulled back, but since its still metal it is incredibly hard to pull back. That however would make the power the bow can produce incredibly high.

Although he hasn't practiced archery before, knowing ways to take out enemies' long distance would be a very useful skill. Either way, if there was nothing special about the bow and it turns out to not be a good weapon the material is still interesting since it's so light but also flexible and sturdy, so he could always have it reforged.

After the blacksmith, Art and Tess went to buy some books on various subjects like beasts, plants, medical skills before returning to the palace where Art took over the kitchen. For dinner Tess and Art ate nothing but sweets as Art baked some cookies using ingredients that are either same as earths or are close enough.
