385 Baatorian Jihad (20)

World Enemy was something that I found about only through countless experiments with lesser planes and long research.

Fundamentally, I have always wondered, if there existed something as Son of Destiny, who was the World's darling and was supposed to save the World from certain destruction, shouldn't an opposite exist?

Designation for people who were destroying the World and greatly upsetting the stability o the World and endangering it? If there was a way for a World to appoint a person who was supposed to save it, then the opposite should also exist.

And I was right; after dissecting countless World's Will and studying that of the Baator, I found out about the designation of "World's Enemy". It was a term bestowed onto an individual, just like the Son of Destiny, by the World itself.

It was for people who were so dangerous and destructive to the World they were in, so the World's consciousness wanted to kill them to preserve itself and the World. These methods ranged from everything starting from Lightning Punishments, strong planar suppression, curses, and countless other methods that the World could utilize.

For example, with my Command Sequence of the Baator, I can easily now designate someone as the "World's Enemy" after I studied it for a while, as anything that had something to do with World's Will was a highly complex topic. Studying the World Will could easily backslash on someone, as most of the Worlds had at least rudimentary intelligence and could defend themselves.

The intriguing thing was I never encountered anything like what happened in the Baator, or rather in the Underworld when it was still part of the Draconic Deus, as something like Command Sequence, which basically contained absolute control over the World's Will, was unheard of.

It was not that nobody attempted to achieve that, but nobody succeeded. And it was required to say that countless people tried, among them even Magister Arcanists, but yet to no vail.

I knew that Warlock Sovereign would arrive because he invested a tremendous amount of resources into grooming the Warlock Path for his own devices and his own advancements, so he won't just watch how they were being slaughtered one by one while Weismann was stalling him for time.

And I, on the other hand, knew that as long as Xuanyuan was alive, the Warlocks would rise once more, as he could start from scratch, so as long as I killed him, it would be the end. Without him, even if I just annihilated the Canghzi Plane, it would be impossible for Warlocks to rise once again in countless Eras.

Unfotuateanly for me, I knew that I could not kill an old monster like him, even with my current powers, because even though the Warlock Path was an inferior one because the cultivation system sacrificed combat prowess for lifespan, Xuanyuan was a very powerful one, as he made for the defects and weakness of his cultivation system by slowly integrating others into it.

But there is still someone or something that could achieve this feat, and that was the Canghzi Plane itself, through its defense mechanism.

I just need to activate it when Warlock Sovereign enters the plane, and there is a 98,74% probability that the Canghzi Plane will kill him in the moment he enters the World. Canghzi Plane was a Grade 1 Plane and a very powerful one, and as a plane that could give birth to a Tier 12 entity, it could also end one.

1 Year Later

It took more than half a year for the Dawn Pillars to completely integrate with the Canghzi Plane and usurp part of the Control Aspect from the World's Will, but it was enough for our purpose, which was the suppression of the Warlocks.

After their disastrous defeats when they attacked the subcontinent with the Dawn Pillars, the death of the two Warlock Emperors, a crippling additional one, death of countless Holy Spirit Warlocks and lower ranking ones, Warlocks completely retreated to the Core World and destroyed the dimensional entrance to the Core World so that we can pursue them.

That was a good move, actually, as rebuilding the dimensional gateway between the Core World and Surface World would take years at best, even when I was working on it together with the brightest minds of the Empire.

Original Dimensional Gateway was created by the combination of the natural pathway that appeared and the might of the Tier 12 Powerhouse, which was the Warlock Sovereign. So a lot of time would be required to build a new one, but it didn't matter at all.

We obtained a lot by us controlling the surface world, especially when the Reversal of Heaven and Earth happened. At the same time, the Warlocks in the Core World would have an arduous time even recuperating there, not to mention rebuilding something.

The Reversal of Heaven and Earth was a fascinating phenomenon that happened one time per Era when the Core World and Surface World connected to each other. Usually, when they were divided, practically every benefit of Grade 1 Plane could provide was directed at the Core World.

And when the Reversal of Heaven and Earth, it shifted to the Surface World, and Core World suffered a lot from that, but not that it was a problem because, during that time, Warlocks from the Core World would leave and dominate the Surface World and then, when the end was coming they would once again retreat to the Core World to enjoy benefits.

Now the Reversal of Heaven and Earth happened; basically, the Core World became a wasteland that has barely enough energy to support a Tier 9 expert, not to mention even Tier 10 and Warlock Emperor as Tier 11 could only depend on their deep foundation to do anything.

No wonder they carried out those suicide attacks, as they were aware of what locking themselves up in the Core World after the Reversal of Heaven and Earth would mean to them, as they would be royally fucked up.
