In a tube connected from floor to ceiling filled with a green liquid, a being could be seen floating inside of it with several tubes connected to his body. Of course, this being is familiar to those who observed it just outside of its dark room as a creature called a "human."

If one were to look at this human from the outside perspective one could see the human calmly floating in the tube asleep, uncaring, and unaware of the outside world. But in truth, this was far from true as in the human mind he was still awake. Awake, but unable to move.

Across from the human, on the other side of the dark wall, creatures that not many are familiar with could be seen looking at a holographic monitor that showed the room that the human was in. One of these beings looked at another who held two cylinder items in both hands and connected in the center of it was a holographic tablet. The being nodded towards the being who held the holographic tablet, and getting the signal the being holding the tablet tapped several times on the screen before finally pressing one last button.

The dark room soon lit up as hundreds, maybe thousands, of these tubes could be seen across the room. Each one holds a different kind of human inside of them.

"!!!"

The humans that were trapped in the tubs soon jolted awake as they began to franticly breathe and look around them. As they looked their eyes could only widen in horror as to what they saw and how many they saw. Before they could understand what was going on a voice was soon heard in the room.

"### ##### ###### ###### #### # ###," the voice said but soon stopped as another voice was heard and after a couple of seconds of silence the voice returned. "I am deeply sorry about earlier, it seems that our translation module wasn't on. As I was saying, Hello to you all I hope you have had a wonderful nap. If you are confused as to why you are in this tube and not in your homes watching TV or playing games or sleeping or any of that stuff, then allow me to jog your memories."

A loud whistle could be heard through the device they used to transmit their voice. The humans at first covered their ears due to how loud it was, but soon lowered their hands as memories began to replay in their heads.

Destruction.

Bloodshed.

Invasion.

Genocide.

They remembered how a normal day turned into a nightmare when the bright skies turned dark and in a flash, multiple beams of light struck the ground. Nothing happened, and as if someone snapped their finger a bright flash occurred. An expansion of light began to expand burning and incinerating everything it touched. Cities were destroyed, and millions died in not even ten seconds. Those who died were the lucky ones for after the beams of light the scouting party arrived.

They began to either round up the survivors or kill them on sight. As time passed the human population, no, the world's population slowly dwindled to extinction levels. Several human groups formed in hopes of fighting against this threat and many succeeded and were able to take out these beings and were able to slowly figure out how to use their weapons. Years would pass and it would seem as if humanity was beginning to win back their planet, but that hope crumbled to dust as the main force had finally arrived.

The many groups were all destroyed in a single minute and those that survived were hunted like rabbits. As the last group of humanity was prepared for death something unexpected happened. These beings stopped their attack and began to surround them. Days would pass and nothing would change, many felt anxious and afraid that several went out of their defense and tried to attack the enemy, only to be put down.

On the final day, one of these beings approached the group and.

"That brings us to now," the voice said as the humans began to shake in fear. The normal life they had, the many friends and family they had, and even their dreams were destroyed in less than a month. How could they not shake as to what the voice was about to say next? "You see, in the days we left the last of you on that ball of rock. We had a predicament. You see our species can't produce as many offspring as you humans and so when one of us dies it can take years for someone to be able to replace that person. In our little battle, though you didn't put a dent in our numbers, many of our soldiers were afraid of dying and not leaving any sort of legacy behind. And so after a long discussion our elders, or I guess leaders in your case, decided to use you guys. The ones who were able to defend themselves against our men and were able to survive both of our strikes as our soldiers."

"That is why we sent someone to approach you and give you an offer. If your little group participated in our small experiment, we would allow those we captured to become a part of our society and live alongside us. Of course, we showed you proof that there are others of your kind, here let me show again" Soon another loud whistle was heard as the humans could see several of their kind being held in a dome that seemed like a prison. Though a bit malnourished and beaten, they still lived.

The humans looked at one another and felt a bit happy that there were others still alive. They all looked at one another and nodded their heads. Knowing that this was the last hope for humanity to live.

"I see you have all agreed to participate in this experiment, again. Now with that out of the way, let us begin" the voice said as a loud beep was heard throughout the room. Soon their tubes were being filled with various types of colors. As these colors slowly approached the humans they couldn't help but feel a bit anxious, and right they were. As when the colors entered their body, they began to shake violently and their veins could be clearly shown. Muffled cries of pain could be heard as several of them began to bang against the glass, thrash around, or try to rip cords off, while others floated in the tube, lifeless.

Slowly their numbers began to drop as more and more of them began to leave this world. But as those who kept hanging onto their life continued this torturous experience they could see their bodies changing. Some began to grow wings on their back before they violently began to be covered in feathers, others began to grow horns or fangs and scales, and others began to just expand in mass before popping like a balloon.

"Alright, they used up all the serum, turn it off," the voice said as another loud beep was heard. The tubes began to stop pouring the colored liquid into their bodies. Once the liquid was finally gone from the tubes, the tubes began to detach themselves from their body and their skin held no signs of penetration or any form of force alongside them. The tubes began to lift and the liquid splashed onto the floor along with the humans, or what was left of them. From the thousands, only three were left breathing.

The first was covered in white lustrous feathers, their once humanoid shape resembled that of a snake or worm, and their face was replaced with a bulb that, when opened, split into four revealing a row of sharp teeth. At the center of the four bulbs was a single bloodshot eye that had a slit-like pupil at its center. The second was a creature that didn't last long, as once it came in contact with the floor it coughed out blue blood before passing away. The last one was something many couldn't even call a creature, the closest thing that could describe it was eldritch.

Its body was entirely made out of a white vine that was constantly moving back and forward, its insides seemingly appeared filled, but were in truth hollow. It retained its humanoid shape, but its legs were shaped like that one would see on a dog and its hand though still had a hand, only had three fingers that ended in long sharp claws. Its once human face was turned into a nightmare as its was turned smooth dome that had several of the vines floating behind it as if it was hair being blown by the wind. The only thing that remained on its face was its teeth, but even that wasn't human anymore as they became jagged and broken, as if they were shattered glass.

The two "humans" looked at their bodies in horror as they couldn't comprehend what their bodies had become.

"Crooor*" the eldritch creature cried out in fear, but its once human voice changed from a yell into a howl that shook one's core. Its sound was a mixture of various creatures crying out for a war or battle.

In the other room, the beings looked at the two survivors with a bit of shock in their eyes. It wasn't shock because of how many lived, but because of what they had become. But only one person didn't hold a look of shock or bewilderment, no they had a face of joy and excitement.

'Finally, two perfect beings' the being thought as they stared at the two howling creatures inside the room, surrounded by the bodies of their former species.
