CHAPTER 7 "THE LONELY TALE"

Zircon leaded the way through the other side of the bushes, and the others just followed her. They had a quiet walk, maybe too quiet. Sapphire and Zircon were often quiet, they wouldn't even look at each other in the eye. Terra didn't say a word because she was afraid they might argue. So she just walked from a distance behind them. But Red had to be the one to say something, while Sapphire and Zircon were still together. So he decided to lighten the mood with Terra by telling her a story. Everybody likes stories. The Hidden Galaxy tells great stories, fairytales, myths and legends. It always cheers people up and thought them valuable lessons. Besides he could fill in Terra's mind since she's forgotten everything.

"Hey, how about a story?" he said.

"A story?" said Sapphire and Zircon at the same time. They stopped walking.

"Come on, just to take a little break, while we're still together" said Red "You use to like stories."

"That was a long time ago" replied Sapphire.

"Well then can I hear a story?" Terra asked.

"Why not" Red agreed.

Sapphire looked at her brother, unsure of what he was doing. He knew the Hidden Galaxy's secrets cannot be told by outsiders. "I'm not sure that's a good idea Red" she said "You know we can't tell anyone outside of our galaxy our stories and secrets, she's seen too much already."

Zircon agreed with Sapphire. "She's right Red" she said.

"You two finally agreed on something for the first time in years!" said Red. That was all he wanted to hear, something they agreed on. It was a small start to rebuild their friendship.

Sapphire and Zircon exchanged glances at each other, they faced away pretending that didn't happen.

"Tell her a story Red!" allowed Sapphire.

Red looked at Zircon to see if she was okay with it, too. Zircon just silently nodded. Terra didn't know what was going to happen so she declined. But they insisted to tell her, they knew she was curious about the Hidden Galaxy, and while she was there she's going to have to learn their ways. It's true, Terra was curious about their galaxy, and amazed. There was such intelligent life in other planets far, far away from Earth, and she wanted to see, and learn, and discover more.

"Okay, what story are we going to tell her?" Red asked.

"I don't know just pick one" Sapphire insisted Red to decide.

"How about our galaxy's urban legend?" suggested Red "The Lonely Prince."

"I don't think so" declined Sapphire.

"Hey, you said I can pick one" said Red.

"Just let him tell a story" said Zircon "An urban legend is a start."

"Fine"

Red was going to be the one to tell the story. They sat down on a rock, and Terra listened carefully, she was so excited to hear a story, it's been a while, since she was turned to stone she's forgotten all the stories back on Earth.

"What you're about to hear" began Red "Is a story about a prince. Well he's not really a prince, he just feels like a prince sometimes. They called him the Lonely Prince because he was alone. He had no home no planet to live on, he also had anger issues that he'll burst into flames sometimes. He usually spends his time walking around the Hidden Galaxy, but he never visits other planets and he never meets somebody. The only place he lives is in the White, where he can be alone. He made the Volcanic Wall to keep other people out. He added a security password that only he knows. Not much was heard of him, some of the other secrets of him are hidden somewhere else, guess he doesn't want anybody to know him."

"Yeah, until Sapphire found them all" added Sapphire.

"More like stole them all" added Zircon. Sapphire just ignored her, she didn't wanna start a fight.

"Err... that's story was kind of sad" said Terra.

"Actually it's sad and interesting at the same time" explained Red "That's why it's urban."

"Okay"

"It's just a legend" he said.

"Any way, break times over" said Sapphire, while standing up "We should get back on track."

They stood up and continued their walk. It was still a long walk. Zircon did felt bad that story time was over. Then she just remembered something. "Terra there's something you need to know in our Galaxy" warned Zircon.

"Okay, what is it?" Terra asked.

"Don't trust Sapphire, nor help her" answered Zircon.

"Why?"

"Because she is well known for her skills, independents, despicableness only to reach her goals" Zircon explained.

"But she's been helpful to us" Terra defended Sapphire "And she's your best friend."

"She was my best friend, and she's only helping us to help herself she's-"

"We're here!" yelled Sapphire. She interrupted Zircons talk with Terra.

"Maybe I'll tell you next time" said Zircon.

"No, no please tell me I might forget" Terra begged Zircon to tell her.

"Come on!" yelled Sapphire.

"Wait a second, I'm talking to someone here!" Zircon yelled back. She had to make the answer short, she knows Sapphire will run out of it patients. "Let's just say Sapphire's the bad guy."

"WHAT?!" Terra screamed in surprised.

"Move it!"

"Alright we're coming!" shouted Zircon "Just don't trust her."

Terra was nervous, clueless and puzzled. What did Zircon mean she's the bad guy, thought Terra. "Could it be just a mean expression to say that Sapphire is a selfish loner or a bully? I'm sure there's more to her than that" Terra convinced herself, now she was calmed.

Finally they've reached the exit, and found the entrance to Dance Planet.
