Thank God You're Safe

Gabriel turned and tossed on his bed, unable to sleep. To make it worse, he was hungry but he was too angry to make it downstairs. Moreover, what if he bumps into Jackson, he would continue nagging him, or worse Zoe, it would be awkward. 

Hence, he groaned and rolled on his bed while his stomach growled. He can do this! You know, fast for the first time in his life! This journey was just so full of surprises. Hence, the moment the knock came on his door, he stopped all movements and pretended to be asleep. Jackson must be here to bother him again. 

There was no answer at the door and Zoe wondered if he was asleep. Or perhaps, he was just so mad at her that he wanted nothing to do with her. No, she could not let that happen. Zoe had to reconcile tonight before her courage died off. After the realization, her blood was pumping with adrenaline. It was now or never.
