Ch.2 Where did they go?

"You sure about this?" 

"Never have I been surer in my existence." 

"How will you know?" 

"It's random won't know until it works." 

"That's not reassuring at all." 

"Didn't ask for your opinion anyway." 

"Wow thanks... jackass." 

"What was that?" 

"Oh nothing, just secret code for good luck." 

"Little bitch say what?" 

"What? …. Oh god damn it." 

"Ha, got him." 

After a while a soft click could be heard. 

"Finally, this device should be able to find the individual we are looking for." 

"Oh wow, I'm impressed. You took stalking to a whole other level." 

"Shut it, I'm turning it on." 

The device hummed for a while, then it turned off. 

"Wow it works better than I thought." 

"Shut up, I thought you was here to help." 

"I mean you're doing such a good job, wouldn't want to get in your way." 

"So going to erase you when I get the chance." 

"Oh no, please don't. ANYTHING but that." The entity said while completely devoid of emotions. 

"What the hell?" 

"What?" 

"Earth was destroyed..." 

"Lucky bastards." 

"No this is bad, that's where the chosen one was." 

"Oh no the prophecy, whatever shall we do?" 

"We got to ask the Gods where they got sent." 

"Maybe they got sent to imaginary hell?" 

"I'll send you to hell if you don't shut the hell up." 

After hopping dimensions, they finally made it to Earth... what was left of it. 

"God? What happened to Earth?" 

After a brief silence a light like the sun appeared. 

"What do you think? Earth got destroyed." 

"What about the prophecy?" 

"What about it?" 

"How can it be fulfilled if all of them are dead?" 

"You know as well as I do that it comes to pass whether we want it or not." 

"See you worry too much." 

"What happened anyway? How did it get destroyed?" 

"You sure it's kind of boring." 

"Yes." 

"They got **************** so they *****************. " 

"Did you seriously have to redact it for me?" asked the annoyed entity. 

"You serious? That's how they went out?" the inventor asked in disbelief. 

 "Serious. It was that simple." God confirmed. 

"Where were they sent?" 

"Not sure, an upper echelon being got a hold of them." 

"Well fuck... you didn't think to ask?" 

"Didn't have the privilege or care to ask. Now if you got what you wanted, I would leave I'm about to restart the world. This time, things will be different." God gleefully said. 

"Well, what now boss? We hop an infinite number of dimensions and hope we land in the right one?" Inquired the assistant. 

"We wait. Hopefully it will show up soon."
