Chapter 29 : Satoshi Following His Dream

They were heading towards the church to go outside when Satoshi told Rosie that her hair was still visible so she should cut it or put it up and hide it under her hat.

Inside the church they met Cedric, he looked at them for a while with a judgmental expression and said,

"I've been looking for you, I've finished my work here, we'll leave tomorrow morning, be ready by then''

Satoshi said, "First of all, I don't like the look on your face, I'm not wearing this hat for fun. Secondly, you were supposed to drop us off at the adventurer's district. Instead you dropped us off here with no money because along the way you took all our fucking money and now we're stuck here with these religionists racist piece of shits, so you should at least buy us free meals until we arrive to the adventurer's district.''

Meanwhile Rosie was nodding in agreement with Satoshi, Cedric looked slightly ashamed,

''Yes, you are right, but after this I have to go to the noble district. I can give you some money to go there, or I can give you enough money to buy you food and small things until you get there in exchange you can help me carry my stuff etc. What do you think?''

"Do I look like I know this city to you?''

Rosie was about to interrupt, "Actually I d-'' Satoshi silenced him with his hand and continued,

"I want free food and I don't want to work until we get to the adventurers district, okay ?''

''Normally I would never say yes to something like that, but I'm the one who's wrong and I made a good deal yesterday so I'm in a good mood... Okay, your food will be on me until we get there''

Satoshi opened his hand and held it out towards Cedric,

''We're going out to find a place to have breakfast, but you're probably busy, and I don't want to bother you, so give me the fucking money''

Cedric laughed and took out a coin pouch and handed it to Satoshi,

"Will this be enough?''

Satoshi opened the pouch and looked inside, there were about 10 silver coins,

He said, "We will see"

After that he left the church with Rosie. 

Satoshi wasn't hungry because of what he had sneaked from the kitchen, and at that moment he was aware of something else. Why was he looking out for Rosie so much? It was exactly what Sven was doing and that's why Rosie so scared of the Aetherians. She need to stood up for herself so she can get rid of her traumas…

He threw one hand behind his back and with the other he tucked the coin pouch into Rosie's hand. Then he put the same hand on Rosie's shoulder and started talking to her like an old man giving advice,

"Hey kid, take this money and buy something for yourself.''

''Uhm?? Alone?''

''Yes, handsome boys can't look at you with me by your side, it's a waste of your beauty, kid''

Rosie blushed a little when he said she was beautiful, but as soon as she heard him say 'kid' she got angry,

"Wh-what the fuck are you talking about?''

Satoshi said with a saintly smile on his face,

He said, "Fuck off already''

Rosie didn't want to be alone among the Aetherians. She shouted in a tearful voice with tears in her eyes like a child,

''But I don't want to go!!!''

Satoshi while he was smiling, he slowly pushed her from behind,

"Come on kid, go get yourself something to eat.''

As Rosie reluctantly walked away... An uncle watching the scene shook his head in disapproval and gave a thumbs down towards Satoshi.

Satoshi looked deeply touched by the uncle's gesture so he reached out his hand towards him, and just as he was about to call out, the uncle said,

"Tsch" and turned his head and walked away...

Satoshi fell to his knees in grief. He looked down sorrowfully at the ground and muttered quietly,

''I did it for her sake...''

As he continued to look at the ground, a pair of high heels appeared in front of him and he heard a woman's voice,

"Hey, are you okay, honey?''

Satoshi slowly lifted his head up and saw the heavens…

In front of him there was a noble woman in her late 30s or early 40s,

She was a tall and elegant figure with huge breasts, dressed in elegant, flowing robes. Her hair was long and golden, with a lustrous sheen that shined in the light. Her blue eyes were bright and lively, and an attractive twinkle sparkled in them. She certainly was a noble woman...

Satoshi stunned by her beauty, she leaned forward a little, put a hand on his cheek and asked again,

''Hey, seriously, are you okay boy?''

As the woman touched Satoshi's cheek, his face turned red and he fell on his ass with a thrill. However, he recovered a little and said,

"Y-yes mo- I mean ma'am, I'm fine''

"Are you sure?''

Satoshi after he stood up and shook himself off, he said,

"Of course, my beautiful lady, thank you for your concern''

The woman covered her mouth with her hand and giggled, then went inside the church...

Satoshi opened his hands as if he was praying and said,

''Just this moment I know there is a different supreme being than Aurora, a being that gave me chance to see this lady, for that thank you, thank you… everything I have experienced, every drop of pain I suffered until now... They all were just a small price to pay for the sake of seeing this beautiful view!''

After he wiped a tear of happiness from his cheek, he entered the church. He followed her until she entered a room and when he was about to enter the same room, he stopped by two guards at the door.

"You can't go in there in your regular clothes!''

''But she just did''

''Yes, she is a member of a powerful family in the capital, and you ? I have never seen you before and judging by your outfit you are not someone important at all!''

Satoshi put his hand to his head and felt the rabbit ears on his hat, a little embarrassed by the situation, then he turned around and walked away without saying anything...
