Chapter 19 : Spoiled Noble Brat

Satoshi and Rosie came down from their room at the tavern, and Rosie immediately noticed the other tavern customers giving them nasty looks. In other hand Satoshi was clueless as toddler, he didn't even notice what they were talking he was just thinking, 

'Wow that place way more fancy than our tavern'

Meanwhile some of the customers were whispering things like: 

"Look at those foreign peasants with their dark hair.'', ''yeah look at them, they are not even full blooded northern just mixed bastards…''

Some of the other tavern guests were openly pointing at them and making snide comments, saying things like:

"What are those filth doing here? Are they even human?"

The owners even talked amongst themselves like:

"Let's kick these filthy foreigners out of here." But other one was saying, ''No, merchant Cedric bring them here, we can't''

Rosie was uncomfortable with people's stares, she hid behind Satoshi and held his arm. Satoshi, unaware of the situation, turned his head to Rosie and said,

"Hey, I hope you're not really in love or something.''

Rosie nodded her head *no* and they left the tavern while she was holding Satoshi's arm.

After they got out, they wandered around the village and Rosie picked some new plants that she found around the village. Rosie was in a good mood because of the new plants she had found, she could invent a new poison and test it on Satoshi. When it got a little dark, they decided to go back to the tavern.

On their way back to the tavern they encountered some kids playing on the road. Satoshi looked at them and thought, 

'Ahh, if I hadn't annoyed Aurora, I could have been reborn and played in the street like those brats. Then I'd start building a harem at that age, like one of those stupid manga characters whose hormones start to kick in at the age of five. I mean, how is it even possible…'

While Satoshi was thinking about these things, a red-eyed, blond-haired brat in some fancy suit, who was playing with other kids shouted at them, 

"Hey what are you looking at, you mixed freaks?!''

Rosie nervously hid behind Satoshi, Satoshi looked around and pointed at himself and said,

"Are you talking to me little shit?''

The kid wasn't expecting such a response, said, 

"W-who are you calling a little shit, you infoir race?''

in a slightly irritated way,''What the hell is infoir ? Do you mean 'inferior', you piece of shit? You think you are French or something?'' While he was saying in a calmer voice, "Anyways, what the fuck makes you supe-" suddenly Rosie started pushing him from behind so he couldn't finish his word.

She wanted to Immediately get away from there. As they were walking away, the boy who had been talking to them picked up a stone and threw it at them, and the stone hit Rosie on the head. Satoshi turned in anger and was about to run towards them but Rosie said,

"I am fine just keep walking" and She pushed him harder to get away from there. 

The boy grabbed the hair of the servant beast-folk next to him and pulled him by the hair and said, "What is French, answer me now!''

The servant was trying to find an answer in a stressed state, the servant looked away and said, "H-he made fun of your dress, master.''

Satoshi looked back with a devious expression and Even though the kid was momentarily startled, he shouted, "How dare you insult my noble attire, you peasant!''

Afterwards Satoshi and Rosie arrived to tavern and went up to their room but this time on the downstairs Satoshi noticed people's hostile glances.

After they entered the room, Satoshi looked at her as if he was expecting an explanation, Rosie looked down and preferred not to talk about it.

Satoshi stomped hard on the floor to bring Rosie to her senses, Rosie flinched and looked at Satoshi. Satoshi crossed his hands on his waist and started pacing.

"What was the first rule rookie?"

With a trembling voice, Rosie said, "U-uhm If the opponent is stronger, run!"

Satoshi nodded. "What was the second rule, soldier!"

Rosie chimed in, "If you're stronger, bully them."

Satoshi stopped pacing and stood in front of Rosie and gave her a hard smack on the top of the head.

"Agh!''

"Then why the fuck are you running away, with one spell you can make everyone downstairs met with a tattooed, muscular, juicy-assed big brother"

Rosie rubbed her head and said, "Wh-what brother?"

Satoshi paused and said, "I-I mean, you can send them to the afterlife, why are you running away?"

Rosie bowed her head and said in a sad voice,

"I know that too, but for some reason whenever I stand up against them I feel like I can't move, I can't even look them in the face..."

Satoshi sighed and in a calmer tone,

"I don't know what you've been through, but I'm not going to force you to face your fears, I'd be angry if someone would force me. If you want, you can wait in the room until the wagon departs tomorrow... BUT I have a score to settle with that brat, so don't get in my way!"

Rosie wondered what Satoshi was going to do, but she nodded and chose not to question him.

They both turned towards the bed to go to sleep since there was only one bed in the room,

Rosie said "Hey we're not going to sleep in the same bed", she threw a pillow from the bed at Satoshi and said "You can sleep on the floor".

Satoshi in a moment of anger said, "Huh why the fuck should I sleep on the floor! you can sleep on the floor if you're too uncomfortable."

Then he took his pillow and lay down on the side of the bed with his back against Rosie. Rosie raised her voice and said,

''For once be a man!! and treat me like a gentleman''

Satoshi didn't even bother to answer and Rosie didn't want to sleep on the floor either so she took her pillow and sat on the other edge of the bed, her face blushed a little,

"H-hey don't get it wrong, I just don't want to sleep on the floor"

*Snoring..*.

Rosie(⚆_⚆) quietly "Hey did you sleep already?"

*Snoring*

Rosie also turned her back in her side corner and tried to sleep, while thinking, 

'Does he really not see me as a woman? How could he fall asleep so fast?!?'

Eventually Rosie fell asleep, and when she woke up in the morning Satoshi was already up and had left the room.

Rosie looked out the window of the room, and saw Satoshi in the cattle barn. Rosie watched Satoshi collect the piles of animal shit into a transparent, wrinkled bag. As she watched him from her window on the second floor of the tavern, she couldn't help wondering what he was planning with this pile of shit.

Rosie, pulled up a chair by the window and began to watch Satoshi with full focus, she jumped out of her seat when Cedric knocked on the door to her room. Cedric invited her to first floor of the tavern to eat and chat, Rosie's belly rumbled with hunger, even though she didn't want to be around people who speak badly about her, she accepted Cedric's offer and went down with him.
