first day

When the bright light vanished and showed the hero, she was covered with dried blood. It was as if she was trampled by a stampede.

She was wearing clothing similar to that of the royals. Her skirts were up to her knees. She had a white shirt, I could tell her collar and tie was beautifully set up before it was all everywhere. Her tie was a beautiful dark blue like the night sky, which complemented her black sweater which had a golden outline that popped out the bark blue color of the fully armored centaur emblem on her right chest.

She looked odd, not that she looked weird but similar to the people from Land of The Rising Sun. From what I heard they all died by the demon king not too long ago. Some of the people managed to escape and became refugee's on several countries but those could be just baseless rumors.

But either way it was comforting that she looked similar to the people, her black hair just like that of the people from Land of The Wind. She had tanned skin that looked lighter than the people from the Motherland of Giants.

She looked like a mixer of different races I didn't think she'd get any unique until she opened her eye's; people called me the child of the void ever since I was young due to my hair and eye colors but if I'm the void then she has to be the abyss, for those eyes are darker than the blackest shadow, darker than a moonless night.

When she looked at my father, I could feel an immense power from those eye's even if she wasn't staring at me, it felt too similar to the stare of the demon king when he killed my mother and eldest brother, in front of my weakened father and sister, as I watched with a broken body. He devoured my brother and ripped my mother, that demon does not deserve to be called a demon.

No it's, more like a devil.

When I got out of my trance-like state my father called me and said "my son please calm yourself, I understand that the trauma you have endured was terrible but please be ushered that the hero will take vengeance for us all. Now if you may give this blade to the hero" my father then handed me his holy blade, the same one that he handed down to my brother; which he held to his last breath.

"Father, are you sure about this?" I couldn't help but be concerned over this decision of my father lending treasure to the [hero] that we know nothing about, especially a woman that looks so similar to the demon king.

"Yes, now go"

"Yes father"

For my fathers sake I will keep tabs on this [hero] that he summoned to this land.

---

When I came back to the room fully washed and clothed I laid down on the bed and smiled.

"I really am in another world, especially one where I'M THE HERO!!"

When I looked at the holy blade that was gifted I remember what Henry told me.

So I started to inspect the blade and it's sheath, It was far too beautiful for me, it looked well preserved too, that's when I remembered something my brother told me " always treat your blade with care and respect, because once you have a blade it'll become your only ally that you'll be relying on the most in battle"

I grabbed the cloth that was in the restroom, dampened it with water and started cleaning the blade and its sheath with the best of my abilities; but I couldn't do anything about its broken peace.

"You know my brother always says the craziest things but it always made sense you know; he always talked to his blade so from now on we're partners and I'll treat you as my brother treated his blade, like his friend." That's when I realized my brother always called his blades by a name, but I didn't know the name of this blade.

"Hmm… what should I call a beauty like you, let's see should I call you…"

From the bright light that came from the window, Awaken from the bed  with my messy hair being everywhere and the blade standing watch over me.

"I really need to learn how to read time normally" I got out of the bed and changed clothing with the only clothing they gave me. When I entered the restroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth I thought to myself 'how do they have toothbrushes but not hair irons?' so I just brushed my hair.

When I got out a guard was waiting for me outside.

"Hero, I have been summoned to lead you to the Training Center"

Training, so we're starting right away? Or is this a test?

"Are they trying to evaluate my strength?" The soldier looked stunned with my reply. I guess it was because I guessed right "yes, I'm sorry if it was rude".

"No,no it's fine since I'm a hero from another world. You need to know the strength and what you can improve on." and yet again the soldier looked stunned but unlike last time, I'm confused why he looks stunned. Does he think I'll throw a fit or if I was dumb or ignorant? Of course something like this would happen. I read plenty of tropes in fantasy novels where before the hero goes on a journey they always gatta train.

When I got to the training area I noticed the fact that the place looked less like a train center, but instead like an arena. I looked around and there were several knights without Iron armor but instead leather, they all looked depressed.

As all the soldiers looked down I asked the guide why that was "after the invasion of the demon king many soldiers died in battle so all these people have been drafted to fight this war" I feel that.

Out of all the soldiers that had their head deep in the dumps only a few came out, unlike the rest these looked young and with eye's of aspiration. As there eye's sparkled with light, they asked me "can we spare with you hero"

"I'm sorry but the hero doe-" before he could finish his sentence I replied to him with "yea, I would like to spare with you" I didn't really understand why these knights are treating me fragile and useless, but it feels like they're gauging me for being female.

It's probably me that they feel sexiest, this is getting me nervous. I never really spared with anyone except my brother. I never beat him much less landed any attacks.

As I walked into the center of the training grounds the soldier announced himself "I'm Author, a commoner and my dream is to become your shield" I was quite stunned, I thought he would say hero.

As the sparring match was about to start the guide came to me and apologized for his behavior "from what I heard, the world you come from is where women are equal to men. I am gravely sorry for my actions but please understand that in this world women stay near the man as support, even though there are female knights they are rare." it certainly did make sense for this era especially since magic is another power source.

I nodded my head at the soldier and looked back at Author, not only was Author prepared but he also had a wooden shield and sword, with a face full of determination. He seemed like a paladin noob.

I grabbed a wooden sword even though it wasn't like the wooden swords back home. I took my stance and prepared, my brother trained me to use different weapons over and over again not only weapons but also martial arts. He beat it into me, be it weapons, cheap tactics there is no way an average person could beat me.

This really reminds me of when I was a delinquent and I beat up rivaling schools to a pulp; I better go easy on him.
