Dead Men Walking

My heart matches the swaying of my body, leaning from side to side, in a dizzy daze. Searching for everyone that I save. Thinking that if I was successful in just that, I could finally die with a win. - However, waking from the belief of my win, I face Myune...

The wound in his head was fully heal, hair beautifully falling gracefully to his back. And, holding his hand, was the kid from earlier. The little blue eye doll kid, he presented to us, clinging to his hand.

"Who knew..." He then speaks, eyeing all the calamity around him. "Loyalty could be so destructive."

I had no words to say... Nor could I think of any...

'Speechless and still alive..." He stares off in another direction, ignoring my existent here in front of him. "Exactly how you looked that day Milo murdered your mother..."

Mom... Her death... Even now, I can't stop it... No matter how strong I might think I am... I can't-

A hand, lit in blue flames, grabs for Myune's face. He quickly presses the button on his neck, armoring his face on impact, taken to docks next to us.

Myune presses the button again, revealing his face to us a third time. Panting, "Decided... To wake up, huh?"

He faces Zel, smiling, expecting him to retaliate as he did.

"I won't let you lay a hand on Zenith."

Zel shoots out a thin metal string from his suite, taking Myune's wrist hostage. He pulls back on it as well, lighting it to flames. - Spotting the green flames chasing up the thin line, Myune takes water from the ocean, shaping it to slick blades, butchering Zel in the process.

"I don't know who you are," Myune oddly states, a few steps close to Zel. "But I know, ever since the accident; Zel hasn't been able to force a full sentence out of his mouth." He then takes a hold of the imposters head, cocking it back by the hair. "So, tell me. Who- The hell- Are- You?"

Zel's imposter chuckles, melting to the familiar image of a black hair girl. The culprit was no other than Nako, fully recover. But how?

"?" Myune head tilt over to the side, puzzle by her appearance as well. "I killed you-

Rising from the ground, remolding the blades in her wounds back to water, Nako's aura burns drastically around her injuries, steaming them shut. Then, taking her stand, cracking a huge grin, Nako approaches Myune, touching his chest.

"I can say the same for you..."

She changes to Myune, hair falling to the side, face reflecting his, but merrier. Nako neck bracelet also began to beep, though in a different pattering than when she detonates mines.

Hand still on his chest, her grin grows wider. "For someone who looks so powerful... You have tremendous draw backs." -

Myune, in a heartbeat, takes hold of Naok's body in a mysterious force, tossing her back. He next, vanishes from his spot, reappearing above her slingshot body, fist press down to her stomach, slamming her to the dirt. Dust clearing out, he grabs hold of her hair again, pulling it up further, stomping his foot on her back.

"I would like," -

Nako, in that moment of peril, goes right back to the black hair girl, turning it into a sort of pattering, making it obvious to all, why she continues to do so.

"To see if you come back from this!"

Ripping it clean off, Nako with the face of Myune, head was rip clean off, blood spattering out the open bottom, far out in the air. Nako... Was killed again.

"Heh..." Myune tosses the head in his hand far out, falling to his knees. He covers his face, laughing, blood dripping down his wrist. "You truly are someone incredible..." He then planks the other hand on the ground, "If we weren't currently fighting to the death... Heh... A date wouldn't be out of the question." Lastly, Myune lifts himself up, clenching the dirt in his hand, letting it dust over her body once he let it go, eyeing the corpse. "I admire those, who fight no matter the odds..." He then glances over to me. "Don't you agree.... Zen?"

I was terrified from what he had done. Not knowing what to do under these circumstances. Vile is unconscious. Nako was killed after all her struggle, and Ella... She's completely butcher.

I need to stop this... I need to stop thinking! -

Act... I need to act. -

Get up... I need to get up. -

I need to... Need to-

Suddenly, I was able to stand on my own two feet. I couldn't think of anything else but wanting to beat the crap out of Myune this very moment... I wanted to win... To not lose this battle, including lives. No one else is able to at the time. I only I can face him now. -

Not thinking twice about my actions any longer, I go off of instincts alone, dashing to Myune, submerging my entire body in shadows during the action, being the main trick that I know.

Expecting the impact, Myune simply vanish, popping back up on the side of me.

"A half assed trick like that," His hand then reaches out. "Makes you look even more like a rookie." -

I strong gust of force pushes me back, flipping my body airborne. - However, I quickly swing my arm back, creating a portal, falling into it, instead of hitting a wall, slamming my back into Myune, when reopening the portal behind him.

Crashing into each other caused us to tumble and roll-on dirt, me, shot further than Myune.

"Damn it all." Myune straight away, push up off the terrain, teleporting in the blink of an eye, reappearing above me, grabbing on to my shirt. "That was clever." He complements my style of fighting, hair looming down above me, blocking the light from the sun. "Though, it wasn't enough to stop-

A gun cock back, sound well known to the both of us. I was left surprise as Myune eyes darken, caught in the act of his words.

"Thought I was dead-

Myune didn't hesitate however, turning in quick speed, back smacking the gun from Nako's hand, grabbing her by the neck.

"How many times..." Myune grips on her neck tightens, red eye glowing chaotically. "Are you going to do the same dam trick."

As she struggles to remove his hand from over her neck, I lift up under him- Though I was quickly reprimanded as well, slam back into the ground by the palm of his free hand.

"You as well... Why do you keep trying... Didn't I tell you you're far behind being a rookie? So why? Why do you press on?" He slides his hand up to my forehead, removing it away from over my mouth. "Answer me!" He shouts, loosening his grip on Nako's neck too. "Both of you!"

"I don't... Give a dam..." Nako widely grin, knowing her responds would get under his skin.

"I feel the same Nako..." I follow her actions, grabbing hold of his wrist, leveling off the ground. "I can care less about it all.... Not dad! Not the Sigma Flames!!" -

Myune eyes open too late, I, taking the gun that fell out of Nako's hand, firing it through his forehead, splattering Nako's in addition. It didn't matter, because, right when his grip fell lose, letting go of her neck, the hole in her head steams quicker than earlier, closing the wound.

Myune's body falls clear across my chest, speaking a name under his last breath... Juna. After all that happen... She still lingered in his mind till the end. Not once able to see his sister alive again.

Getting up, healthy as she could be, Nako, comes to my side, taking the gun from my hand.

"Didn't think you had it in you..." She speaks to me, looking at the gun in her hand, wondering if the events that just unfolded actually happen. "I was sure... i was sure you couldn't pull the trigger."

I remain silent, acknowledging what I have done, once the rush of adrenaline died down. I killed her brother.... I killed Juna's brother... Myune.... His blood. His body-

I cup my hand over my mouth, shoving the body right off me. "What have I..." My eyes flooded, doing my best to hold back the urge to cry. "What did you make me do..."

"The hell?" Nako stomps over to me, seeing that I look at her when saying what I said. taking me by the shirt. "Say that again... I don't think I heard you correctly."

I glance to Myune's dead body. "It's your fault... He's dead because of you..."

Nako throws me back on the found, pointing the barrel in my direction.

"My fault?" She questions. "Last I check... You pull the trigger. -

"Don't you think I know that!! I'm the one who shot him! It was me! But... I just don't want to believe it. I am... A hero. I couldn't-

Nako pulls the detonator out her pocket, arming it, revamping the bracelet lock around my neck.

"A hero?" I zoom in to her shifting face, forming into what I now consider her true self, wielding that ugly flesh wound on her face. "Those who are apart of Nova," She reveals her neck bracelet as well, pulling on it. "Can no longer where that mantel..." She then came closer to me again, squatting down to my eye level. "It's not because you are a hero. You just want to deny the reality. Your true self... A kid who was woken to the adult life far too early. Zenith... I told you before; You're a vigilantly. This," Nako holds the gun to me. "This is your job now. The moment when we put these neck bracelets on, our mission above the rest, is to live."

Nako appears to be speaking from her own experience. She aims to tell me that it was my fault, unlike Ella, who told me I had no choice. Reminding me the end of the matter... That I did have a choice when killing Tau... That I had a choice here also, though the path to protect, to hold back my strength could have result in my death. Nako, she wishes for me to go off of survival not morals.

"To live?" I whine out. "Even though I never wanted to-

"That's not true either!" Nako shout, hand pulling on my shirt. "It's not that you don't want to live," She calm herself back down, taking a breath, eyes directed somewhere else. At a distant memory. "You can't stand the thought of this being your life... Don't shut out what's in front of you Zenith, embrace the madness. Do it, then you will finally feel alive again..."

She gets up, taking the gun she handed me back in her hand, directing it to Myune's body. - A loud bang pops, Nako shooting him, this time near his heart.

"There... Now it's both are fault." Her emerald eyes, drowns at me underneath the sunlight, reflecting the calamity that surround us. "Let's go... To your new home."
