15 Chapter 14: Trial of the ancient demons

I looked around inside the frost covered building. The terrain is just ridiculously hard to fight at since everything is jagged and slippery, so losing stance or balance is easy in this place.

"Master, I'm coming with you"

Lily who was suppose to be guarding outside due to the cold temperature within was now running towards me, while pulling Tiamat like a rag doll.

"I thought you can't resist the cold temperature, Lily?"

"Master, I think you forgot that I have a hundred thousand more skill points, unlike you I have to be in a constant low temperature area to obtain the skill. So after I obtained it I just maxed it out"

I really did forget about that.

"How about you Tiamat?"

"The vampire explained your ability to me and gave me a few hundred skill points to max out the Cold Resistant skill. It's a win-win situation since I don't have to be in hibernation anymore during winter"

Tiamat answered while looking around the building with curiosity but froze when she saw something on top of me.

Tiamat said while pointing at the block of ice above me. I followed her line of sight to look above me, but froze on the spot like her from what we both saw.

"It's an angel"

Lily said while staring at the block of ice containing an female angel with short black hair and sapphire eyes wearing a white, almost militaristic uniform, with yellow lining on her collar, sleeves, gloves, and down the middle of her shirt. As well, she wears a necklace under the collar of her uniform, which meets to hold a square cross with leaves protruding from under it.

"So this where the original Azazel went to"

Tiamat muttered while looking at the frozen angel who held a note pad and a pen on her hands.

"Original Azazel?"

"Yeah, the biblical God was born together with the 6 Original Demons and Azazel, the only angel created by the 'Creator' of the primordial beings like Death, Chaos, Order, and Void"

"According to what I remember, the 8 of them were quite close to one another due to being born together, but due to the 6 being sealed by the primordial being of Chaos, and Azazel suddenly disappearing. The biblical God felt devastated and created angels that contain the most distinct personality of the 6 Original Demons"

Lily who was by my side tapped my shoulder while pointing at the block of ice.

"*Sigh* I really have no choice"

I sighed in defeat while staring at the block of ice as I used my appraisal to inspect the ice.

An ice that is found in the deepest part of the underworld, known for being unable to melt or destroyed. Only beings that reached the peak in Ice magic can undo the ice.

I muttered before creating a pillar of ice below me to lift me up, close to the block of ice containing the Original Azazel.

I asked myself trying to find a way to break her free from the ice.

I first placed my hand on the block of ice and tried to inject my mana into the ice, but unexpectedly the mana within ice started to dissolve and integrate together with my mana, forcing its way towards my mana circuit.

"What the hell is happening?!"

I shouted as I tried to cut off the connection between my Mana circuit and my mana within the ice, trying to stop it to further spread inside of my system.

Slowly the coldness that I felt within my system slowly diminished as I felt my eyes momentarily changed before returning back to normal after the uncomfortable feeling resides.

The crimson ice around the angel slowly chipped before breaking into pieces, releasing the angel causing her to fall to the ground.

"Ow!"

The angel yelped in pain as her head hit a large block of ice.

"Sorry about that"

I apologized as I jumped off the pillar of ice and landing in front of her.

"Ow ow ow"

She muttered while holding her head with her hands as tears started to build up on the corner of her eyes.

"It's unfortunate that none of us has any healing skills"

"Only Asia, Kurumi, Natsumi, and Miku could do have that ability master, our skill set is more battle orientated than them... well except for Kurumi" (Lily)

I used appraisal on her but was surprised that the result is the same as Tiamat and Ophis. Most of it are unknown.

I asked her with a doubting expression on my face.

"Of course! I can feel her power after all! Even though she are older than me, she was sealed for millions of years while I trained in those years that she was sealed!"

Tiamat shouted causing Azazel to jolt from her voice before fixing her posture, looking at the 3 of us, but stopped at the sight of me as a grin formed on her face.

"Who are you?"

She asked while pointing at me with bright eyes like she saw something that intrigued her.

"Don't be stingy, tell me your name"

She muttered while writing something on her note pad.

"How interesting... For some reason his mana is spread out like its part of the world"

She whispered to herself while continuing writing on her note pad.

Azazel shouted while suddenly clinging on me.

"I will go with you! You're interesting, I want to know more, please let me go with you!"

I tried pushing her face away from me but failed as her raw strength was greater than mine.

Muttered the two watching Azazel cling to me like a Koala with an amused expression their faces.

Lily stated like it's an obvious fact while looking at me with a strange expression on her face.

I sighed while looking at the angel who was clinging on me tightly.

Azazel who was desperately clinging on me like holding on for dear life, shined brightly while looking at me.

"Yes, so just let go of me"

She nodded and removed me from her embrace while looking around the place we were with confusion before her eyes widened from a sudden realization.

"Oh yeah, I forgot why I came here in first place. Can you help me free my friends? Even though they are demons, they are... kind of nice, I guess? I can guarantee that "

"Well, that is what we were planning to do, so how do we free them actually?"

"I have no idea"

I set my sight on the large gate covered by red ice and used my appraisal to hopefully obtain information, if not we have no choice but to go back and ask Nia for help.

A seal created by the primordial being of Chaos to seal the Original Demons to cause a sudden change in balance of power.

To release the demons sealed inside, a being must inject his own blood into the gate to activate the trial to release the ancient demons.

Luckily I have the maxed proficiency in appraisal, the only thing that I can't appraise are beings that are several fold more powerful than me.

"So I just have to inject my blood here?"

I said while walking towards the long cylinder with a large hole on top of it, connected to the wall close to the giant gate.

I summoned a small dagger that a shadow ninja dropped in the past, using it to slice my palm causing blood to flow down on the wound on my palm.

I placed my hand above the hole and let my blood drip down inside.

After my blood entered the cylinder, it immediately retracted back to the gate, as it opened widely revealing a wide hall inside the gate.

I explained to the 3 girls standing in front of me.

"Since they are my friends I will go as well" (Azazel)

"How about Origami, Master? You can kiss her in exchange for helping us" (Lily)

I wonder what's wrong with my companions.

"... Fine, can you go and get her over here, Lily?"

"Of course!"

Lily answered before disappearing into a portal.

"Origami? You mean the highest deity among the spirits?"

Tiamat asked as Lily disappeared into the portal.

"Spirit? You mean those girls that wear really fancy dresses? They're with you?!"

Azazel asked as she closed the distance between us. Grabbing my shoulders and shaking me furiously.

"S-s-stop!"

I shouted as Tiamat pulled Azazel off of me, waiting for my answer.

"Yes, all the spirits are at my residence including her"

"Hmm... That's strange from what I remember the highest deity doesn't like associating with other beings"

"It is strange since she started clinging to me after we stayed together for 5 days"

"Interesting, so you gained the attention of the highest deity among the spirits"

Azazel who was listening wrote everything I said in her little note pad before hiding it inside her pocket.

"I'm back!"

Lily shouted while a girl with short white hair wearing a wedding dress, followed her out of the portal.

"I want my kiss, now"

"... Maybe I should ask Tohka to join me"

"No, you said that you will fulfill any of my request for one time before. Then I want it now, I want a kiss"

"Master, do it, she will be a great help to us"

Lily whispered while hitting my side with her elbow.

"I'll take it even if you don't agree with my request"

Tobiichi stated as she pounced at me, wrapping her arms around my neck as she tried to pull my face closer to her.

"Ok ok I'll do it"

I surrendered causing Tobiichi to slightly smile at me before closing her eyes.

"For some reason this gets me excited" (Tiamat)

"I only drank his blood before, I don't know if his lips taste as tasty as his blood" (Lily)

I smiled wryly towards the 3 girls watching us, I sighed before facing Tobiichi who was waiting for the kiss.

'This feels weird since she is basically holding me up due to our height difference'

I thought before creating a small pillar of ice below me to support myself. I looked at her for a moment with hesitation before finally giving up to my fate.

"Fuck it"

I cursed, throwing all hesitation that I had as I closed my eyes and placed my lips on her own.

The first thing I thought was how soft her lips was, causing blood to rush to my cheeks and to the lower half of my body. Her lips tasted very sweet like marshmallows for some reason causing me to enjoy her soft lips thoroughly.

Tobiichi had a slight blush on her cheeks as she tightened her hug around my neck before she forced her tongue inside of my mouth.

"Mnnp!"

I let out a yelp from her sudden actions as she started to explore my mouth with her tongue... slowly I started to lose all rationality left me in as I used my own tongue and entangled it with hers causing her to occasionally moan between our kiss.

"Wawawawa-" (Azazel)

After a few minutes, Tobiichi released my lips while a string of saliva formed between our lips as she panted heavily, looking at my eyes with a hungry look.

As soon as I regained my senses, I immediately used blink to get out of her embrace as I tried to hide my blushing face from the 4 girls behind me.

"Ahem... L-Let's go"

"Y-yeah" (Azazel)

"That was a great view" (Tiamat)

"I wonder how Asia-san would react to this?" (Lily)

"Please don't tell her"

I said before entering the gate together with the blushing girls.
