The mysterious girl in the forest II

At the same time on the other side of the forest, Ying Yue was busy talking to Bao'er when a sense of danger enveloped her.

She had made a link with Shasha using her spiritual essence before she left the mountain and since Ying Yue was getting near it, she could perceive the intense emotion it felt at this moment. The nearer she got, the more intense it felt.

"Bao'er can you track Shasha using my spiritual essence?" If it was in danger, she needed to get there the fastest time possible so she can only turn to Bao'er for help.

"Leave it to me Yueyue." Spreading its perception, Bao'er was able to see a wisp of golden light in the inner part of the mountain thus it led Ying Yue to its location.

This morning, Ying Yue decided to visit Shasha so Bao'er can help her channel more spiritual essence to it so it can mutate to an animal with an awareness comparable to that of a human.

Ying Yue would be able to do it herself, but seeing that the danger of being noticed by the world's consciousness would be high she could only transfer a small amount then wait for Bao'er to complete the process.

So the moment Bao'er went back, she dragged it to the mountain. Lucky for her, Bai Xingmei was quite busy practicing embroidery and etiquette so she did not have time to find her recently. She reckoned this was the perfect opportunity to sneak out.

As they made their way towards the location where her tiger was at, Ying Yue asked Bao'er, "Can you perceive what's happening there?"

"It looks like the tiger is fighting with two humans. Their lights are quite bright, so they must be someone of great importance in this world." Bao'er can see the aura that shrouds humans so it used it as a way to determine which being could give off a fair amount of good karma if they helped.

"I see, if that was the case, we cannot hurt them. I just hope that we could talk things out with them."

A waft of air that carried a smell of blood reached Ying Yue which got her alert. "Bao'er, make me a sword."

The blob of light blinked twice then a metal sword materialized in her hand. She then put down the bag she was carrying to the ground, pulled up a veil that would only cover her nose down, then changed into it.

Rushing towards the place where the fight ensued, Ying Yue held her breath to prepare for what she might see.

The moment she arrived, the bloody tiger seemed to have felt her presence so it whimpered then turned towards her. All thoughts of fighting thrown at the back of its head.

The two people fighting seemed to have noticed her too so they stopped moving as well, looking at her.

"Little girl, this place is not for you to play around with. Go now!" Still tensed and ready to fight at any moment, the second prince warned.

"Yes, If you are lost, go to a safe distance from here. We will find you once we finish this tiger off." Wei Feng followed up still staring at the tiger that had its attention to the girl. It might have changed its target so it is best to finish it off.

Contrary to what they expected, the little girl didn't heed their reminder but instead, she stepped towards them a step at a time. Both looking incredulously, "Little girl you better go away from----" however before they could finish, a cold but very pleasant voice cut them off.

"Shasha come over." Ying Yue commanded in a cold voice. She has already expected that the tiger would be more or less hurt, but what she never accounted for, was the anger she felt when the tiger looked at her as if seeing a ray of sunlight and was already satisfied to have seen its owner for the last time.

Anger and frustration washed all over her. She knew she couldn't kill these two, but venting her anger out without mortally wounding them would be alright, right?

The tiger was bleeding a lot thus it made its way slowly as if every step took a lot from it. Every step it took was like a nail that burrowed deep into her heart. Her golden amber eyes flashed. Staring at those two people, it looked like her eyes were a golden fire that could devour whoever it laid its sight to.

The two people froze from their spot. They were truly confused this time. Weren't they trying to protect this little girl from that tiger? Then why did she stare at them like they just killed her kin? And who's Shasha?

As if to answer their question, the tiger reached the little girl, rubbing its battered body on her like it was a huge cat asking for sympathy and petting from its owner.

"You dare hurt my tiger?" Truly mad this time, Ying Yue never even minded how these words would sound very weird coming from a little girl. Patting the tiger's head she then whispered, "Shasha, stay here alright and don't move about. I will beat those guys for you."

After saying so, she leaped forward while holding her sword in a reverse grip. Lifting her sword, she delivered her first blow towards the prince.

As if on reflex, the prince lifted his sword and made a maneuver to give ample distance between him and the girl. Although he was used to fighting, hurting a little girl was not something he was very fond about.

As the prince leaped away, Ying Yue faced the second person who was near her, aiming a kick towards his face. The person seemed to have awoken from his stupor, raised his hand to defend his face, but since he was a tad bit late, the girl was able to land a hit. Taking this chance, Ying Yue slashed her sword towards his heart.

After the hit Wei Feng suffered, he became much more guarded thus he was able to defend on time but what he never expected was for it to just be a feint to bait him. He only realized this when he was already bent over from an agonizing pain from his left. The hit was not fatal but it was aimed at an acupoint that had the most nerve endings. Thus this one hit knocked his breath away.

The kid then continued a barrage of blows that aimed accurately at his acupoints that could not kill him but could give him severe pain, much worse than being critically injured.
