Meeting 2

"I've silently and patiently been observing this whole thing. It's dragged on long enough"

The girl began her speech calmly.

"Amaya, you've clearly stated your loss of the 5th Rank. Why are you still here then?" She asked calmly.

"I-I..."Amaya was lost for words.

"I decided to have her come with me. Is there a problem with that?" Darey cut in.

The girl frowned as she looked at Darey.

"I believe I was talking to Amaya" She pointed out.

"I see nothing wrong in me answering on her behalf" Darey replied defiantly.

"Well, then you should know that this is a 'Rankers Meeting'. As such, non Rankers are not allowed to participate. Therefore..." She said, maintaining her poise and calm tone.

"Therefore nothing. Officially Amaya is still the Rank 5. The Records still have her as the 5th in the Rankings. That gives her just as much right as everyone here to attend this meeting" Darey cut the girl short.
