"I suppose... It's my loss" Darey smiled.

The white light that had nearly penetrated his defences, coupled with the condition placed by Neo which stopped his movement, he would lose.

Suddenly the light faded and stopped altogether

"What?" Neo said in surprise.

Amaya could not hold out for any longer. She had reached her limit long ago and pushed herself too hard. The backlash of that was that she lost consciousness.

"Tch, we were so close... Just a little more and..." Neo said in frustration.

Amaya dropped slowly as her stamina reached zero. With Neo being flustered, his hold on Darey loosened, making him now able to move freely.
