1 Chapter 1 King of Ignis
Once upon a time, the world is ruled with beings that have the uppermost power called magic. The magic they can use are classified into elements – fire, water, earth, wind and lastly the lightning which is the most rare element in the world, there are only one in a million being in this world to possess that kind of power but not all beings can gain those elements or power others are born naturally known as commoners- mostly of them are the human beings.
The fire is the most common element but has the most powerful and dominant kingdom of all kingdoms, Kingdom of Ignis. It is not what you think when you hear the Kingdom of fire that it is like as hot as hell! But this kingdom is like on the other kingdoms where the commoners can live also on it. Green grasses, beautiful flowers, rivers, beautiful and luxurious houses of people. The thing in this kingdom is that before you can cross the Kingdom of Ignis there are lots of volcanoes where its lavas are smoldering. These volcanoes doesn't erupt by its own because there's magic that lies within. The person who hold this power is the King of Ignis the most powerful holder of all the fire element, the most tyrannical ruler, the most feared king by all the kings, King Barak.
He is a ruthless ruler no one can oppose him but behind those action the kingdom is peaceful, the people lived prosperously, none could experience the difficulties in life except for the commoners who doesn't have the power and can only be a slave in an affluent people.
King Barak has a wife, Queen Beatrice is the daughter of the King Drago and Queen Ellie the owner of the Western empire Kingdom. Now that King Barak and Queen Beatrice are married to each other its obviously that King Barak will hold the power of the Western empire. The queen give birth a daughter and a son named Bea and Vale both of them possess fire elements that was what the people of Ignis thought but all people had their own secrets, a secrets that no one should know. Queen Beatrice bear a third child a baby girl, they were all happy but then a disgrace can be seen at their faces when the child turns in her eight months. The fire symbol can't be seen in the body of their child but a strange symbol can be seen on it a small blue wave circle with a thorn by its side. No one could explain what was that symbol the fire has its unique symbol engrave in the bodies of a fire holder. It has a diagonal shape with a dragon inside on it that breathes fire. The engrave mark on the chest of the child wasn't a fire holder that causes a lot trouble in the royal family the King start to suspects her wife to have a secret affair, everyday they fight. Queen Beatrice found it difficult and look at the child with the feeling of anger. She call the mayordoma of the palace and give the child to her.
"Lock that child in a room starved her if you want! I don't want to see that face ever again!" The mayordoma want to protest but she restrained herself as she saw the burning eyes within her queen and the fire that are in her hands now ready to cast it to whomever interrupt her.
The queen tell his majesty on what she do to her child. She said that she locked it to a secret room where only the Mayordoma knows. She explained to him that this will not affect to his majesty and as herself because in the first place no one knows that she gave birth to a third child except inside of this palace. The king did not answer on her, Queen Beatrice do whatever she can do to appease the anger and the feeling of suspicious of her husband towards her. The king decided to listen his wife the queen suggested that they should see a fortune teller and so the king agree.
"Your Majesties" she bowed. The king signaled the fortune teller and both of them go to the private room with his wife. The fortune teller begun with the crystal ball she had in her hands several images appear in the ball. The past that had happen while the queen was bearing her third child.
"Why is Khalisius?" the king found that Khalisius was on the chamber of her wife she spent the night with her. An agape can be seen at the queen. She didn't expect this to happen but before Khalisius came to the chamber of Queen Beatrice, the queen and the king made love, this questions who is the father of the child. The king was so furious that one of the volcano erupted his subordinates got so scared that all the people in the kingdom hide from each house, all become silent.
"Y-your Majesty p-please l-let me explain" the queen trembled in fear. The king stare at her with his amber eyes that looks like a fire right now.
"T-this f-fortune teller maybe fake! Your majesty! She was framing me up!" The queen added with a scream in her voice. The queen was about to cry with the thrilled she feel right now. The sweat that almost wet her red long satin dress. She knows that anytime the king can kill anyone especially her. She give a deadly stare at the fortune teller but the fortune teller just avoided her gaze.
'That traitor? How could she betrayed me when I gave her almost what she wanted even my diamonds pearls that are so very rare!'
"You're wondering why I know you bribe this fortune teller?" The king voice was calmed but you can sense his enormous aura that can makes you breathed heavily the fortune teller can also feel that. She almost kneeled down to the ground sweating with fear. Inside and out all of them could feel it. Others wondered why was the king so furious now? Only the queen can answer that.
"Did you forget I.rule.this.kingdom? What you want that all came from me. What, where and who will go and out in this Kingdom I know every person, every move and you dared to betrayed the King of Ignis? The ruler of the most powerfull kingdom? Did you not fear me?!" the king roared like a rolling thunder. The fortune teller that can hold her knees earlier fell down unconsciously. The queen burst on crying, palm on her face. This is the end of her she knows that when someone betrayed his husband he or she could not flee within his hands.
"CALL THE ROYAL GUARDS AND CHAINED THIS WOMAN." The royal guards who entered in the royal chamber confused on what happened. One thing for sure her royal highness commited a sin that the king couldn't apologize her. They chain her with an incantation that chain cannot be unlocked of some ordinary mages. King Barak ask the fortune teller how to know if the child she gave birth is his own blood. There was a long silent between the two. "Answer!" the fortune teller answered the furious king immediately.
"I…I could not answer that for now your h-highness i-in the age of eighteen t-that mark e-engrave with her i-if it will change into a fire symbol then it is y-yours b-but i-if it didn't….then" before she could finish what she will about to say a fountain of blood drew out to the curtain as the body of the fortune teller slowly fell down. The beautiful, unique, exquisite chamber stain by blood.
"Then if it is not my child, that child is not worthy to breathe the same air as mine. I shall punish her with a bath that filled with lava that no ashes will remain with his burning body. Khalisius your head will be mine!"
