Whitney came back to her office angrily then slammed the door forcefully.

Seething with anger, she swept all the thing on her table.

"Ahh!! " She screamed.

This is the first time she had been played like this.

Stacy, knocked on the glass door but unheard. She pushed the door open to see that the office is a total wreck.

She found Whitney on the bar counter while pouring some whisky.

She wordlessly tidied up the mess and piled it back up on the table. She swept the broken glass away before she walked towards the woman.

"How can you lose your composure in front of the directors?" Stacy asked her.

"You dare to question me?" Whitney retorted with much sarcasm on her voice.

"No. You know that your position is still weak. You don't even know how to manage them and then you walked out just like that." Stacy sat beside her and poured herself a glass of whisky.

" You are questioning me! Stacy! How dare you? I am still your boss!" Whitney roared with anger.

"Yes. You are my boss but without me, can you still hold your position like that?" Stacy's tone became sarcastic. She gulped down the drink and heavily placed the glass over the counter.

Whitney became silent. She's right. She doesn't know how to manage this large conglomerate and without Stacy, this empire had long crumbled.

Stacy's words were like a drug. She began to calm down and ponder but she couldn't find an answer.

"Then, what now? The loophole in the company is not small and I don't know what to do." Whitney asked.

"You still have the Morgan's remember?" Stacy reminded her.

"Right. It's just a matter of time that Jonas and I will be married." Whitney began to relax.

"We'll focus on the Morgan's for now. The small projects in D city, will be set aside." Stacy slowly began her plan.

"Okay. We'll follow your plan. I'm sorry if I lashed out on you earlier." Whitney asked her forgiveness.

"Just don't overdo it next time. I'm not that patient." Stacy walked out from the room and left Whitney all alone.

The woman dialed Jonas number.

"Babe, where are you?" She asked coyly as the line get connected.

"I'm coming over. Wait for me. We'll have lunch together." Jonas said on the other line.

"You still treat me the best." Whitney smiled looking blissful.

Jonas on the other hand had goosebumps on his body.

Such a hypocrite!

"Of course I will treat you best. Where's Dorothy?" Jonas diverted her.

"She still has class." Whitney said.

"Then, it's a date?" Jonas wanted to vomit.

"Sure. See you soonest." Whitney whined.

"En. Wait for me." Jonas said sounding so sweet.

The plan could not go wrong.
