1 Death, Rebirth, and Fusion
Author Note: Yo, this is outsidr the creator of this story, and as always, I feel the need to warn you of a few things since people tend to not check the tags or synopsis.
First, this story is an official remake of the previous, [Multiversal Vampire], and with it being a remake, understand that things will be different.
Second, this story takes place in an Alternate Universe of Against The Gods, do NOT expect the information you know about the ATG Universe to always be correct within this fan fiction.
Third, the MC of this story will be overpowered, if you don't like that do not read.
Fourth, this story will have a harem, if you don't like that do not read.

Walking down the street from another boring day of work Kendrick found himself lost in thought as he usually is. He's always in his head, it was his escape. To the man, the real world is tiring, boring, and every other word to describe dull.
Constantly Kendrick found himself wishing the world was more than it was. What if people had superpowers? How interesting would that be? Or if our world was a cultivation world. These types of questions were something Kendrick asked himself a lot, he wished the world had more to offer than earning money until his eventual death, he just didn't see the point of it all.
'I wish I could just transmigrate in DC or something...' Kendrick said inwardly as he released his 57th sigh of the day.
"WATCH OUT!" A random voice yelled from behind Kendrick before his vision went blurry and the first thought Kendrick had was "Truck-kun" but no, he was wrong, it was random Crowbar-san.
- An unknown amount of time later -
"Wha-?" Kendrick said aloud as he appeared in a completely silver room that he couldn't determine the size of but despite being confused about that what caught his attention was the panel that just appeared in front of his face.

'Well damn.' Kendrick said to himself as a unique feeling overtook him.
Seeing this panel Kendrick couldn't help but grow excited, this was it, this was what he wanted throughout all his life, this was his chance, his chance to live and do more, more than he could have ever done before.
'Against The Gods...' Kendrick said to himself as he began recalling the memories of the fictional universe.
Kendrick was well versed in anything fiction, and with that knowledge, he understood that Against The Gods was a vast and dangerous verse but it was also full of opportunity, the opportunity for absolute power, and the more Kendrick thought about it the more appealing the idea was, it was a universe where if he played his cards right, power was certain.
'Hm, not a wish but a boon.' Kendrick said to himself knowing he would need all the luck I could muster.
Not wanting to procrastinate Kendrick clicked the spin button next to the first boon and instantly a lottery wheel appeared in front of me that showed many different things. Some said 'gain super energy' and some 'gain flower ability', it varied, there were many things on the lottery wheel until it stopped at 'gain system'.
"Nice!" Kendrick said feeling that his luck had done its job perfectly.

With the luck segment over, Kendrick read through the panel a couple of times to be thorough but after his third time, he was rendered unconscious.
- An unknown amount of time later -
'Where-' Kendrick said inwardly as he woke up and was greeted with the sight of a ceiling but paused as something within his very existence changed.
'Wha-what's happening...?' Kendrick said inwardly as thousands of years of memories surged through his being while he felt his personality and ego morphe and take in two other beings who were complete contrasts while he himself was forced to follow along as his original personality and ego was strong enough to fight back against the other two.
'No...' Kendrick said as he felt himself losing less and less of himself but unlike before it was only his own internal dialogue speaking, it was three but it was only a few seconds later that the process Kendrick had gone through immediately upon reincarnating finished, now the human Kendrick was gone, he had become more.
"Keke... hahaha." The new Kendrick chuckled as a psychotic smile formed on his face but immediately upon speaking his psychotic expression disappeared and he gained an expression only the noblest beings could wear, something within him demanded he always be calm, confident, noble, and regal in all situations and the current one was no exception.
The first thing that happened upon waking was that a being known as Alucard was fused into Kendrick's existence, causing the young and changeable Kendrick to be forced to change as Alucard was completely different from him and due to his existence being far weaker than Alucard, Alucard took full reign over Kendrick in all aspects but that's not where it stopped, even Alucard, the 500 years old Vampire wasn't out of the dog house yet.
The second thing to happen was The Noblese, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, being fused into the newly fused Kendick and Alucard Hyrbid. The effect of this fusion was different than the previous one as Alucard didn't have a weak ego and personality as Kendrick did, so despite fusing with the 3,000-year-old Noblesse, he was able to stay strong but he did change, he had no choice, even he wasn't strong enough to fight against the new fusion, the only thing he could do was stay alive despite being fused into a new being.
Alucard was chaotic, evil, egotistical, arrogance, and blood-driven, while Cadis Etrama Di Raizel was good, mature, apathetic, noble, and calm, but the question was, what would you get when you combined two beings who sat on opposite sides of the spectrum? A grey being who was neither good nor bad, a being who would go to any lengths to accomplish his goal but also one who would go to any lengths to protect their loved ones, it was the perfect being in any universe.
More time passed as the fusion progressed and continued to balance out the newborn being but finally, after hours the fusion finished causing the one who would cause pure and utter chaos in the universe of Against The Gods to awaken.
'Hm... this is an interesting starting point.' Kendrick said inwardly, as he looked at the panel which had just appeared in front of his eyes which was looking at the ceiling of the room he was in only a moment ago.

'Cheon Ma... Suitable.' Kendrick, or now Cheon Ma, said inwardly as he decided to accept the name, it would mark the beginning of the new him, a fusion of the first Vampire, Alucard, The Noblesse, Cadis Etrama Di Raizel, and Kendrick.
'So that's why.' Cheon Ma said to himself as he read through the contents of the gift package, not everything made sense, of course, such a thing wouldn't happen naturally.
'Interesting.' Cheon said as he read through the last gift, the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult Inheritance, and upon following his instincts and diving into the depths of his mind he was able to see everything he gained from the inheritance but despite that, he was most interested in everything the main character of Chronicles of The Heavenly Demon, Hyuk Woon Sung, learned, it held many interesting things Cheon would use in the future.
To be thorough, Cheon continued to read over his status many times but on his fifth time rereading he was hit with a small headache which passed after a few seconds. Now, in Cheon's mind were the memories of the life that the body he was now inhabiting had lived up until now, but unlike before, this wasn't a fusion of any sort so there were no changes.
'Hm, I see.' Cheon said inwardly as he grasped his current situation.
He was currently a lowly servant of the Xiao clan, and yes, you've guessed it, he was living in the same clan as the main character of Against The Gods, and while Cheon found it incredibly cliche he also found it just as convenient, someone within this clan held a few treasures which he could get his hands on if he did things correctly.
Long story short the previous Cheon's life in Against The Gods was simple. When he was a child he was abandoned in front of the Xiao clan with a note saying his name, then he was found by a servant and taken in by them, but unfortunately, the servant died soon after leaving Cheon to survive himself by doing menial labor in the Xiao clan with his weak body.
Now one may wonder, Weak body? How could a being who was supposed to be, according to the gifts and system status, a Vampire/Noble Hybrid have a weak body? The reason is simple, the previous Cheon who had lived in Against The Gods for twenty-one long years hadn't drunk blood even once.
The previous Cheon always felt the urge to do so but despite that, he held himself back, he was a man with great self-control, the urges he experienced were nothing to scoff at, he was truly desperate for blood but afraid to lose his 'humanity'.
But even though he had great self-control for not drinking blood, it made him extremely weak and sickly in return, and it was also because of this that he didn't awaken his Vampire or Noble abilities.
Currently, Cheon was roughly 5'6" (or) 167cm in height but he weighed absolutely nothing, he was literally skin and bones with his only redeeming quality being his perfect black hair and glowing crimson red eyes which some within the clan did question as no regular human had such eyes.
Also, something important thing to note was that the Xiao clan was very close to kicking Cheon out, and while the previous Cheon was scared of that, the current Cheon understood it, he didn't blame them.
The previous Cheon wasn't only frail, he had a very big problem, he couldn't cultivate, and not because of poor talent, but because of had no Profound Veins, a completely abnormal phenomenon but nonetheless, it was true and real.
'It's not a good idea to drink from a human yet, I'll start with animal blood.' Cheon said inwardly before leaving his room weakly, his body was weak enough to struggle with even the most casual movements.
Cheon was heading to the butcher's stables because in his memories he knew they had a fresh bucket of animal blood every day after they killed the animals and the current time just happened to be break time for the butchers so he could take the bucket without being noticed, although he was worried if he could carry the thing.
Some time later Cheon found himself in the butcher's stables stealing a bucket of blood and as quickly as he could, he began heading back toward his room. Now, his urges demanded that he drink the blood at that very moment but he wouldn't, he knew drinking blood in public at his current strength was a horrible idea, many within the clan would proclaim him a demon and try to kill him, and cultivators were that way.
'It's been very long since I've been this exhausted.' Cheon said inwardly while breathing heavily after he arrived back in his room, he had to take a few detours so that nobody would see him, and that in turn made him even more tired than he would have been if he had just gone straight there and back.
"Hm," Cheon hummed as he looked down at the bucket of blood, he was starved, and in his hands was the thing that would fuel his very existence if he simply took a small sip.
After getting himself situated in his room, Cheon felt there was no need to postpone drinking the blood so he quickly lifted the bucket of blood up to his mouth and began gulping down the blood.
Around a minute later Cheon had finished the entire bucket of blood and could be seen with blood on my face and clothes, he had spilled some on himself due to there being so much of it.
[Awakening commencing...]
'Knew it.' Cheon said inwardly after hearing a cold and robotic voice echo through his mind before he lost consciousness and fell back on his bed.
- The Next Day -
"Damn..." Cheon said aloud after waking up, he felt amazing, fantastic, liberated, and any other word to describe great.
'Status.' Cheon said inwardly causing a panel to appear in front of him.

'Very good.' Cheon said inwardly with a smile on his face, he had awakened most of the abilities he had in his two lives as Alucard and Raizel but despite seeing it on the panel, he wasn't done with just yet. Oddly enough, by using his 'intent' Cheon was able to cause yet another panel to appear but it wasn't another system status panel, it was his abilities panel.

Hemokinesis: You can manipulate blood.
Absorption: You can absorb one's Soul and body into your own and gain almost everything from them, or you can use their bodies as food and souls as emergency life savers.
Mind Control: You can control the minds of others, but this varies on the target's power.
Enhanced Regeneration: You can perfectly and quickly recover from any physical injury.
Shapeshifting: You can transform into anything.
Costume Change: You can materialize clothes at any time and change them to your liking.

"Hey, di-" Someone said from far into the Xiao clan making Cheon lose his focus and also causing him to feel his new senses which were far stronger than they had ever been, he could hear the heartbeats of everyone within the clan, smell the food they were cooking on the other side of the clan, and even taste the blood in the air from the animals they had just butchered, Cheon's senses had been completely overhauled compared to when he had just finished the fusion.
For the next few moments Cheon reveled in the feelings of his newfound senses but due to already knowing how to control them, he got his senses under control in a matter of seconds, in fact, the only reason they got out of control was due to the situation. After getting his senses under control and looking over the panel a few times, Cheon got up from bed before walking toward the mirror in his room.
"Awakening does that I suppose," Cheon said aloud as he looked at the new version of himself, he was nothing like he was before the drinking blood.
Cheon had grown from his previously underwhelming 5'6" (or) 167cm to a staggering 6'8" (or) 203cm. His body, which was only skin and bones had become a perfectly proportioned muscular body, eight-pack and all, he was neither overly muscular nor too thin, he was perfect for his size.
His skin had become extremely pale, far paler than any human skin would be and his hair which was abyss-black and shoulder length had gained a lush shine as if he had taken extreme care of it and his glowing crimson red eyes shone with more vitality than ever before, and his upper and lower canine teeth had transformed into long fangs as well.
Cheon had truly awakened as an immortal being, he encompassed their unparalleled beauty perfectly, so much so that even though his base appearance was the same as when he was Raizel, he was now on another level compared to back then.

'Let's give this a shot.' Cheon said inwardly, he was about to attempt to use the [Costume Change] ability he had as a being who was of the Noble race, and while he was already experienced with its use, he wasn't only a Noble anymore so his abilities may not work the same.
'Hm, I see.' Cheon said inwardly, he had successfully used the ability and found out that the ability worked the same as it once did so there was no need to re-learn it.
Done examining himself, Cheon prepared for his next move but something interrupted him from doing that, it was the sound of someone approaching his room from a distance away.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Cheon!" A feminine voice sounded from outside Cheon's room.
"One moment," Cheon replied just loud enough that the girl he knew was Xiao Ting, to hear him.
Knowing that his room wasn't up to par due to the blood, using his newfound Vampyre abilities, Cheon first employed his Hemokinesis and pulled all the blood that had spilled onto the floor and his clothes and brought it into one ball in the middle of the room which he then put back into the bucket and after then, with his enhanced speed, hid the bucket away in his room, and lastly used Costume Change to put on servant-worthy clothes before he opened the door.
"What is it?" Cheon asked passively after opening the door.
"Ah-eh-uh..." Xiao Ting, a servant who handles menial tasks just as he does, stuttered as her eyes opened widely in shock.
"Xiao Ting?" Cheon questioned although he did know the reason she was reacting like that.
"Y-Yes?" Xiao Ting stuttered in response.
"Could you get me some bigger clothes from the servant's shed? These ones don't fit anymore." Cheon asked the beet-red servant girl, although the clothes he had used with Costume Change weren't flashy, he made sure to make them smaller so that Xiao Ting could get him some other clothes from the servant's shed and the reason he did this was simple, his clothes, despite being servant-worthy, were clean, and a servant of his level never had such clean clothes.
Despite the Costume Change ability being able to create any type of clothes for Cheon to wear, it was never something he could use and make his clothes dirty or tattered and torn, the use of Costume Change wasn't that versatile, he could put on any clothes he wished but that was it, he couldn't manipulate the clothing itself.
"O-okay, I'll be back soon." Xiao Ting replied with her head down before running away.
"Xiao Ting? Why are you in such a hurry? Are you okay?" A voice Cheon recognized as Xiao Lie, the adoptive grandfather of Yun Che, sounded from the Servants Shed, and yes, Cheon could hear their conversations despite them being so far away.
Unlike Yun Che, his adoptive grandfather was truly a caring man, and even the servants mattered in his eyes so his asking if Xiao Ting was okay was genuine, he was quite the rare man in a universe like Against The Gods where many were selfish.
"Uh, um, Elder Lie, Cheon needs bigger clothes..." Xiao Ling replied still flustered from seeing Cheon's new appearance, it was something she would never forget.
"Bigger clothes? Has he grown?" Xiao Lie asked with an arched eyebrow, Cheon had been the same size for a long time so Xiao Lie's curiosity was warranted.
"He... It's best you see yourself, elder." Xiao Ling said with a genuine tone as she bowed.
"Mhm, I see, then lead the way." Xiao Lie said as he massaged his beard with an understanding look on his face.
A few moments later Xiao Ling and Xiao Lie returned to Cheon's room with his temporary clothes in hand.
"Cheon? Are you still there?" Xiao Ling said as she knocked on the door.
"Mhm." Cheon hummed in response as he opened the door again before looking down on the two people in his doorway.
"W-I brought you some clothes..." Xiao Ting said regaining her blush.
"Thank you," Cheon replied before looking at the elder to her right who seemed to have something to say.
"What happened Cheon, how have you recovered?" Elder Lie asked genuinely curious.
"I met a wandering expert who healed my illness, Elder," Cheon replied making up a story common in any cultivation fiction, wandering experts who help people on whims weren't uncommon in these types of worlds.
"Truly?" Elder Lie questioned with wide eyes before Cheon nodded.
"Tell me, what does this expert look like? We must thank him for this." Elder Lie said eagerly with a smile, it was easy to see that he was genuinely happy Cheon wasn't sickly any longer.
"I apologize, Elder, he covered himself so that I wouldn't know his identity..." Cheon said as he feigned a solemn expression, yes, if one hadn't noticed, Cheon was still playing the lowly servant, and while he wouldn't continue doing such a thing for long, he did have his reasons.
"Ah... A pity." Elder Lie said as he shook his head before continuing.
"You are very fortunate Cheon, to have someone cure your illness is a heaven-sent opportunity." Elder Lie said as he regained his smile.
"Indeed, elder," Cheon replied feigning happiness.
"We can speak more on this later but for now go change into your new clothes." Elder Lie said causing Cheon to nod before closing the door, changing into the new clothes, and finally walking back outside, but whilst he was inside changing Xiao Ting was dismissed, so now it was only the old man and Cheon himself.
"I have an opportunity for you." Elder Lie said with a face that said 'Guess what? Here's your second Heaven-sent opportunity!' as they walked deeper into the clan's main house.
"Cheon, what do you think about serving my grandson from now on? I'm aware that even though you were sick you did everything you could to help throughout the clan. " Elder Lie asked as he acknowledged the old Cheon's effort and while that Cheon would have been elated by the praise, the current Cheon felt nothing.
'How convenient.' Cheon said inwardly after hearing the Elder's words, his current goal had something to do with Yun Che, his grandson after all.
