The next day the one who got a high dose the second time died because his heart stopped working. Before the discharge, I had seen fatigue and weakness in the face of those discharged patients but now that fatigue and weakness have disappeared and replaced with youthfulness.

Despite the changes in those patients, there was no excitement on the face of those people inside the lab. Maybe they have already progressed to this level in their earlier experiment.

After the second dose they didn't proceed further because they had got an order from higher authority to delay the experiment as someone will arrive soon in the lab.

I messaged Ray to find the first source where the pandemic started

Not having proper rest and had to work I was a bit irrated. As the hospital had few manpower I had no choice but to help them but stayed in the hospital.

At third day, as I was a bit free and had closed my eye in the room to rest, the door opened with the force. I was about to burst out my anger I stopped seeing the intruder was Nia.

I can't curse a girl and even more my teammate. But the expression on her face was odd and aura she was emitting was very cold. I have a gut feeling she has some bad news.

Seeing me inside the room she rushed and started to cry while hugging me. I was in dilemma to pat her to console or push her far as I usually didn't have human touch. I stay as a statue for five minutes and let her pour her emotions.

Nia's t-shirt got wet by her tears and she realized she had been crying by hugging me.

Sobbing a little she spoke," Sorry B for not controlling my emotions and for wetting your shirt too."

"Fine, wash when you have time. Don't let me see you being vulnerable." Replied in a cold tone. I also don't know why but this girl can stir up my emotions ( not as I am in love with her or bisexual) and I want to protect her as a sister.

"Okay, but I have some very important thing to share with you–"

"Take a warm shower before you talk." I walked out leaving her alone. When I was back I had a food tray in my hand.

"B–" Nia had taken a shower as I reached my room.

"Have some food first without a word." I opened and checked the situation of those patients in the underground lab as Nia had her food.

Finishing her food in an elegant manner Nia spoke hurriedly,"B, I have a very important result I should share with you. We have to find where the experiment is conducting and stop it as soon as it can. Otherwise the chances of other outbreak in the city is possible."

"I had a sample from that autopsy doctor and compared with my research product and sample from the infected person. You will not understand the medical terms so I won't go into detail. The zest thing is that all sample has same source but have some changes. My product have been modified and mutated to the new vitality meds used to test now and the infection is…"

"The body and the new meds inside of those dead person reacted with presence of moisture, water, air and after they got decayed the odor of those body is the reason for the pandemic."

"Then it's a airborne disease."

"Umm…the old and weak bodies can't counterattack the disease.But maybe you have noticed too that the patients in the hospital has shown sign of being poisoned."

"Something is wrong with the medicine they are providing."

"Yes. I think some third party also have intervent. Someone wants to vacant the city as we have guessed."

"Maybe there is something here…" I drifted into my thoughts while again sending a text to Ray to detail investigate who wants to vacant the city and why.

I told her surfacely about the situation on those patient in the lab.

"B, can we enter that place?"

I remained quiet.

"We need to stop their crazyness and there is also a chance to find antidote for those infected people."

" Wait for some days."

"Maybe but if I could get a current report on those

"Yeah...but it's difficult to get a hand in it's solution."
