"You're surely joking, Princess?" Korbin raised an eyebrow, unable to keep a doubtful grin off the side of his face. 

He just quite couldn't connect the dots in his mind.

"That you used to be completely rebellious as a child when everyone believed that you were the perfect child?" 

"I would say completely rebellious and perfect child are both too strong to describe me." Daphne brushed off his questions with a flick of her hair. "I personally would lean more towards…hmm… I don't quite know. Just someone tired of the same old things within the palace?" 

Korbin's outstretched hands froze altogether. 

"You were tired of the palace?" His face was blank, as if the puzzle pieces that he had been trying to put together for years finally came together. He muttered to himself again, "You were tired of the palace."
