/"Casey. Table 15 is ready for you./" Sophie tells me before heading out of the counter to her table.

I hate this job. I just started a week ago and I hate it already. But I have to push through it and earn money.

I reluctantly get out of the counter and walk to table 15. I reach for my pen and notepad to take their orders and stop in front of their table with a forced smile.

I look up to see who I'm serving today. /"What can I get you-/"

My eyes land on his and I froze. My smile quickly fade. He looks surprised to see me there.

/"Hey babe./" The girl by his side call him, snapping me back to reality. I tear away from his eyes only to be met with Alec's.

They're still hanging out. I'm glad Kaden forgave Alec. He didn't do anything wrong.

I avoid his gaze and look to the girl at the corner sitting next to Alec, quickly putting on a smile for them.
