Si Ming was a calligrapher himself so this gift really hit his soft spot.

Si Ming took it and looked through it and smiled broadly "Thank you Bro Gu"

This work was really priceless and most of them were placed overseas.

Gu Yiming smiled " You're welcome, Bro Si our friendship is more priceless than this and it isn't that expensive anyway"

Looking at the priceless calligraphy the guests were impressed. Well as expected of a family like the Gu's.

"Little Xia did you write this yourself?".Si Xia nodded " Does grandfather like it?"

"Yes,yes grandfather likes it very much, this is the most priceless gift grandfather has received" Si Ming nodded, his smile almost reaching his ears.

Si Xia's calligraphy had been taught by him, so he knew how good he was, he was beyond happy.

"Littke Xia has grown quite big, he looks exactly like Yehan when he was little" Guan Ziyao looked at him and smiled.

"Little Xia is already so good at calligraphy at such a young age Bro Si is really amazing" Gu Yiming said then started talking to Si Ming.

"Shiyuan you look really beautiful" Su An looked at her and smiled

"Thank you aunty" Gu Shiyuan smiled and blushed slightly her attention was still on Si Yehan but he didn't even glance at her not once.

Su An noticed but it couldn't be helped. She looked at Si Xia and asked "Little Xia don't you think so too? Doesn't she look really beautiful"

Si Xia looked at her indifferently and nodded "Hmm, third aunt Gu is indeed beautiful"

Gu Shiyuan wasn't really expecting him to compliment her ,her smile widened, just as she was about say something, Si Xia continued and said with a serious expression.

"But she pales in comparison to mommy"

Gu Shiyuan's smile froze and she instantly felt embarassed "You.... "

Si Yehan looked over, he raised his brow and his lips curved into a smile. He really didn't expect this.

Everyone heard it clearly.

I already have a mommy and she's more beautiful than you.

Su An frowned and looked at Si Xia "Little Xia how could you say such a thing? Quickly apologize."

Si Xia pursed his lips unwilling to say anything.

Si Ming saw this and glared at Si Yehan "Yehan!!! didn't you hear what Si Xia said? Quickly get him to apologize."

Si Yehan looked over "Si Xia your grandmother is right, you shouldn't have said such."

Gu Shiyuan wasn't expecting him to stand up for her, she looked at him with glistening eyes "Yehan it's fine he's just a child." She said softly.

Si Yehan threw a quick glance at her and continued "What you said was rude, even though it was the truth"
