He sighed "So why did you decide to stay here? It's so rare for you to do so". Si Yehan put down the glass and looked at the staircase absentmindedly before replying " I thought coming here would do him some good"

Ofcourse Si Ming knew he was referring to Si Xia. He had noticed the boy was a bit too quiet. He then thought about what Su An had said earlier.

"I had wanted to take him to the United States considering how he has never left the country, but after some thought i concluded that being around familiar faces would be better. " He added.

Si Ming's eyes twitched 'This little brat, so he's saying that coming home was a second option. '

"Ahem, Yehan" he cleared his throat and called out.

"Hmm?" He was leaning back with his eyes closed.

"Your mother and i have been thinking, it's been two years already and Si Xia is still really tender, he needs a mother figure in his life and i think he'll improve quite a bit if he did and you also need a companion you're still so young. The third young miss of the Gu famil, Gu Shiyuan seems to be very fond of you and Si Xia why.... why don't you just give it a try?" Si Ming hesitated a bit at the last part.

He suddenly felt the air turn cold for a moment but quickly returned to normal, he looked over and saw Si Yehan still in that position with his eyes still tightly shut.

'Did he fall.... asleep?' Si Ming's eyes twitched slightly 'he had been saying all those things earlier and he was asleep? This little brat'

He looked at his son, he looked really peaceful and it was obvious that he was really tired considering how he just fell asleep all of a sudden, so he decided not to disturd him and went upstairs.

In truth Si Yehan had heard every single thing he said but decided to ignore him.

Soon enough it was dinner time, everyone was already seated and Su An was busy placing different kinds of food in Si Xia's plate, he could only sigh and munch down helplessly as he couldn't bear to see his grandma sad.

Si Yehan saw his sons' helpless look and smiled slightly as it brought back some memories.

"Ah right, Yehan when are you guys heading back?" Su An stopped putting food on Si Xia's plate and looked at Si Yehan.

"They will be staying here for some time" It was Si Ming that had answered.

"Really? I can finally spend time with my grandson?" Her eyes brightened as she thought of this.

"But.... why did you suddenly think of staying here?" she asked since it has been a while Si Yehan took the initiative of staying back.

Si Yehan didn't reply but Si Ming subconciously looked at Si Xia who was quietly eating his meal.

Su An of course noticed this and frowned slightly "I see.... " She then quickly shifted the topic "Yehan, Shiyuan is currently back in the country and will be attending the banquet tomorrow"
