The Handsome Pureblood and The Vampire Hunter: Asmodeus and Celeste

In the year of 1800s, there were three types of vampires: The pureblood, half-vampires, and the normal vampires. Only pureblood were the most respected. Asmodeus is the most handsome and highly respected pureblood in all Eralys City. He is considered the Vampire Lord. He has no interest in humans at all. After being cheated by his lover, who was once human, he never thought about falling in love again. After encountering Celeste, he changed. Celeste is a human girl who lived in Eralys among other humans. She highly respected Asmodeus because he once saved her when a bloodlust half-vampire wanted to take her blood. After her parents were killed by an evil pureblood vampire in front of her, she wanted to kill those bloodlust creatures. When a once pureblood vampire turned violent and demonic, Lukas sets out and sent his vampires to kill Asmodeus because he lusted his power. A war broke out among Eralys, thousands among the dead. Celeste was a survivor. After she was taken in under Asmodeus, she understood why those creatures appeared. Under his wings and protection, Celeste grew up and became a powerful Vampire Hunter who only hunts half-Vampire and evil pureblood vampires. There, she made friends, other handsome flower boys, but most importantly, Asmodeus changed because of her. Because of her perseverance, endurance, and badass sniper skills, Asmodeus never knew she could move his once, cold and icy heart. ~~ "You are a disgrace among other vampires. Go back where you came from." His red eyes disintegrated the half-vampire in a blink of an eye. "Under my protection, you are safe. I will never turn you into a vampire." He took the young Celeste under his wings. "You changed me, Celeste." His once cold eyes turned warm. "Lord Asmodeus, I'll do whatever you ask." Celeste looked at him in reverence.

Blood Moon-Part 1

Celeste was accustomed in living in the mansion. Full of vampires that she initially feared but living among them wasn't so bad after all. At the end, she knew not all vampires were bad. There were few vile vampires from higher class who couldn't stand a mere human living among them though they knew there are humans living in the mansion. They wouldn't do anything against the rules as long as Lord Asmodeus was there. But, Celeste still hated vampires because her parents were killed by them.

Celeste met Oliver few days after when she was feeling a bit better. They were helping in the gardens and she was watering the plants. With her small figure, she was enduring a lot of hate and criticism from other vampires but she was loved by the Lord, Sebastian, and few other fellow humans and noble vampires. No one dared to hurt her, she was marked by Lord Asmodeus.

"Ooohlala~ who are you looking at, my Lord?" Sebastian peered over his shoulder and could see the Lord was looking after Celeste through the window. Sebastian whistled and chuckled, "I never knew you were so interested and intrigued by this little human girl." Lord Asmodeus smirked and walked away. He cared deeply for Celeste. He doesn't care what other people say. His eyes were already on her from the first day they met.

"Sebastian, I'll be out this evening. I need to meet with the Council again. Tonight is the blood moon. Make sure Celeste doesn't go out. Other people should know it as well. Blood moon means higher activities of half vampires and other vampires will be out looking for their prey. Make sure to warn others not to do anything against the rules. If they crave blood, ask the butler to give them some." Lord Asmodeus knew there were vile vampires in the mansion and those who crave human blood. Asking Sebastian and Mark will be safer. They know how to control their craving. Sebastian bowed, "Yes, Lord."

Lord Asmodeus met with the council that evening and they were discussing about the recent attack on the villagers. The head of the Council belonged to Asmodeus' uncle, Adrian. There were other lords from the east to west and from north. Lord Asmodeus is the high Lord from the Southern Empire.

"As you all know, the recent attack was horrendous. Hundred of half-vampires were out of control and many were killed as a result. Did anyone of you find the where about of the pureblood, Lukas?" The lord from the north, Lord Bathory, stood up. Lord Bathory is a lean man with blond hair and was pretty good-looking, he was very well respected by Lord Asmodeus.

"My Lord, as of now, there are no real clue as to where. But from what we know, he is the one who released those half-vampires. Lord Asmodeus, is there anything you want to add?" Lord Asmodeus cleared his throat and spoke, "When the half-vampires were attacking the villagers, Lukas was already gone by the time we arrived at a villager's house. The half-vampires destroyed nearly everything. I request help so we can help those surviving villagers." Lord Asmodeus bowed and then sat down.

"I agree with Lord Asmodeus. It is clear that Lukas is near but releasing those half vampires does require lots of energy. Lukas won't be able to attack as of now." Lord Bathory said, "There aren't many survivors, after all." The room was silent after a while. The head of the Council made a final request, "I'll request Lord Bathory and his people to help out with the mess along with my nephew." Lord Bathory and Lord Asmodeus nodded and looked at each other before they sat down.

When the meeting was over, Lord Bathory and Lord Asmodeus was in the room discussing on what to do.

"What do you think? I'll send few of my nobles to walk around and make sure everything is safe. I do have humans in the northern empire, it's not as badly destroyed. I'll ask for their assistance." Lord Bathory gave his ideas while Lord Asmodeus added, "That will be helpful. The quicker the better. I'll have few of my elite vampire hunters to do some safety checks as well and help out if anything is needed. I'll feel bad if I don't do anything." Lord Asmodeus mentioned lastly. Lord Bathory chuckled, "It's my first time seeing you actually cared for humans." Lord Asmodeus stood and bowed, "I'll look forward in rebuilding the city with you." They gave a nod and they went on their separate ways.

As the night approaches, the blood moon painted the sky all red. It was a beautiful scene for normal humans but those who live among the vampires feared that death will come again. There were few survivors in Eralys, fewer families went out and most of them stayed inside. There were less kids running around, it was a ghost town. As Lord Asmodeus walked through the villages, there was no sound except for animals scavenging scraps and dead meat from human remains.

"Ah!!!" Celeste screamed when she was in her room. Sebastian and Mark ran upstairs to see blood all over the floor. Sebastian covered Celeste while Mark went over to see who bit who. Thankfully, Celeste was safe.

"Mark, can you identify?" Mark looked at the bite marks and concluded, "It does not seem a noble bit into it, it was a half-vampire who bit a human. Celeste's room window was opened so a half vampire got in. The human was no other than Emma. Celeste's maid." Mark shook his head.

"Sebastian, when will the Lord come back?" Sebastian shook his head and said, "I'm not sure. Make sure you keep things quiet. We'll talk about it tomorrow. We need to bring Celeste to the Lord's room. It's safer there." Mark agreed and covered Emma's pale cold face. Celeste was shaking non-stop after they got into Asmodeus' room, her eyes were all of fear. She clutched onto the blanket and did not say anything. Her expression says it all. Sebastian and Mark stayed with Celeste until Asmodeus came back. They asked maids to help cleaning up the room and told them to keep quiet.
