Preparation for graduation

Amberle woke up to see an empty space beside her. She got down from the bed and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth then she went downstairs to meet her mom and sister already on the dining table.

" Her dear, join your sister for breakfast," her mom said as she took notice of her presence in the dining room.

" Good morning Mom, why didn't you wake me up Anna?," She asked her sister as she took her seat beside her.

" Well you didn't really have a great night and I didn't want to disturb you sis," Anna responded and their mom gasped in fear.

" What happened dear? Are you experiencing sleepless nights?," Her mom asked in fear and she rolled her eyes at Anna.

" Sorry sis, you asked," Anna objected, raising her hands in the air.

" Enough already ladies, so can someone tell me what is happening already?," She asked looking at both of her daughters.

"Okay mom, I was so excited about Anna's graduation and I couldn't sleep. It's no big deal, I should be able to sleep once this big head has graduated," Amberle explained with a smile on her face.

" That's all!! Gosh you guys scared me there for a bit. I couldn't sleep either, my little girl will finally be a college graduate and I can't wait to see the dress you guys are going to pick out today. Amberle should also get a new dress," their mom said happily as she touched her cheek.

" No need mom, we don't need to spend money on a dress for me when I have others I can wear. It's Anna's special day and only she should get a new dress," Amberle responded but was stopped by her mother.

" No dear, you haven't spent anything on yourself in years. You should really change your wardrobe and it doesn't have to be too expensive, just buy something beautiful for yourself dear," her mom insisted and she had no other choice but to agree.

" Okay mom, if you say so," Amberle replied with a smile.

" I say so dear," her mom said smiling.

" And I second it," Anna added and the three of them burst into laughter.

" Eat quickly dear, so you can go have a nice shower and go to the boutique. I can't wait to see your dresses,"  their mom said as she looked at the both of them with tears gathering in her eyes.

" Okay mom, we will," Anna replied as she gulped a full spoon of food in her mouth.

" Take it easy Anna, she did not ask you to choke on your food girl," Amberle said as she saw how fast her sister was eating, she turned and saw tears in her mother's eyes. " What's wrong mom?," She asked as she saw her sudden change from happiness to sadness.

" I miss your dad sweetie, I wish he was here to see how wonderful his two beautiful daughters are turning out. He would be so proud of the both of you," Their mom said as tears dropped on her cheek.

" Oh mom, you don't have to be sad. Dad is in heaven watching over us with happiness," Anna replied, turning to see her sister Frozen in pain. " Amberle, you have to be strong for mom please," she said as she touched her shoulders.

" Yes dear, you're right," Amberle replied as she wiped her tears off her face. " Mom, dad will be so happy with you and his love will never run dry," she said to her mom as she went towards her and hugged her.

" It still hurts after so many years Amberle," her mom said as she increased her grip on her.

" Stop crying mom, dad will not be happy to see you like this. He wants us all to be happy and that's what we are going to be, got it?," She whispered in her ears as she wiped away her mom's tears.

" You're right dear, thanks for everything my baby girl. You can continue your breakfast love,"  her mom said with a smile on her face.

" I'm done, I'm going to go upstairs and get ready," Anna said as she stood up from her seat.

" I'll be right behind you dear," Amberle replied with a smile.

Jeremy stared at the suit he was putting on. It was a black suit with a blue emblem on it. It suited him and his hair was looking perfect with it.

" Oh my, don't I look dashing brother?," He asked Justin, who was self-absorbed, on his phone. " Justin! Justin! Are you here to help me select my graduation outfit or you're here to mess with your phone,"  Jeremy screamed aloud and his brother looked at him with a smirk.

" That suit looks ridiculous and I think you should pick something else," Justin replied, still smirking.

" Are you serious right now or you're messing with me?," Jeremy asked, annoyed by his brother's attitude.

" I'm just messing with you champ, it looks great. It's just kind of weird to see you in a suit but it looks great," Justin replied with a more serious face.

" Thanks brother, I really want to look good. I've been really trying to get her to notice me…," he said but stopped immediately he noticed he had spilled the beans.

"Notice you, so you are trying to look all handsome for a girl. Do you know who you are for God's sake? You're a Wright brother and we don't go after ladies, they run after us plus you don't want our brother finding out about this nonsense," Justin said in anger.

" Of Course I don't want him to, I don't want him to ruin this just like he ruined all my relationships," Jeremy fired back.

" He did all that to save you, those ladies were just after our wealth and you know that. Joseph just wanted to protect you from their deceitful plans," Justin replied, annoyed by his brother's insolence.

" He suspects everyone of foul play, when is he ever going to try to stop controlling my love life?," Jeremy said, equally annoyed.

" When you stop acting like a spoiled little bitch Jeremy," Justin screamed back at him.
