Chapter 30 Suddenly Ayaka

Ken blinks his eyes a few times but he still sees the girl standing there.He blinks once again thinking that his mind may be playing a trick in him but he still sees Ayaka there.Somone who looks exactly like Ayaka!

She was in the corner talking to some of the guests. She is dressed in a plain white gown that adds to her cuteness. Her white skin is radiating and her face is innocent and sophisticated. Her physique, her manner and the way she moves her head while listening is the same as Ayaka he knew.

Ken stops and even shakes his head.

Who could this girl be?

How come she looks so much like Ayaka

His Ayaka!

The hair, the face, the body and the height even her smile looks the same!

This is impossible Ken thought. He was there when they buried her body. It was the most heart aching moment for him and to the whole team, to be apart from her beloved Ayaka.

She was a good friend, lover, comrade, partner and sister to the team.That's why losing her is so painful to them.

And now he is seeing this with his own eyes. Ken knew that Ayaka was an only child. And his father is a one man woman so it could not be her sister or unknown sister.

Ken was still thinking about it so much and did not notice that the girl approached him already.

"Ken?" The girl asked wonderingly.

Ken could only nod his head to answer her.

He wonders if this is a dream? But it is indeed the reality.

Ken's reaction became more bewildered when suddenly the girl hugged him.

"Ken, I miss you so much!I have been looking for you!" The girl says with a trembling voice.

But Ken could only just tap this girl back because everything is so surreal to him.

" It's me Ayaka! Don't you remember me?" the girl asked pleadingly.

" I- I dont know!" Ken stammered, for he does not really know how to react or answer her.

"Ken, I am Ayaka your girlfriend! How can you forget!"

It took a while before Ken could answer her.

" It's not that I don't remember you, but , but!"

" But what?" Ayaka asked, as if she was in so much pain.

"But you are already dead!" Ken blurted out.

" No Ken I'm alive! Very much alive!"

" That is so impossible! I saw it with my own two eyes.I was there and the team when you were buried."

"No I am alive!"

"How did this happen?" Ken wonderingly asked. He still could not believe that Ayaka was here with him.Talking to him and hugging him.

"This is impossible!" He blurted out.

" What is so impossible Ken." Ayaka asked.

" Impossible for you to be alive and well!"Ken is still confused by the situation.

"Are you a ghost?"Ken even asked that foolish question to her.

"No!" Ayaka answers

"You're silly!" And even touch the hand of Ken. She holds his hand and guides his hand to her body.

Ken just blindly followed her lead in confusion.Still looking at the girl's face and his hand trailing her body.

Then Ayaka clung her arms on his nape excitedly smiling at him.

" I did miss you a lot." She said with teary eyes.

"Don't you remember me at all?" She questioned him. The hurt in her eyes is visible.

Ken could only shake his head as he could feel that he had hurt her feelings for not believing.

Instead of answering he just hugged her.

The two of them did not notice someone was watching them. This shadow just closes its fist tightly on anger.

Ken did forget his purpose for the night as Ayaka was filling his thoughts he had a lot of questions for her. But he could not ask her.

Ayaka took the initiative to introduce herself to his parents at the party and she easily gets her mom approval.Which is very rare, for her mom has always shown her disdainful taste of the women around her.

If her mom shows affection to Ayaka. It was the other way around his dad. He is polite but cold on her.

Ken just shrugged his shoulder and did not mind his father's attitude. He knows that sooner or later his dad will grow to like Ayaka.For the girl is sweet and caring.

The night was still young when his parents approached and said goodbye to the host of the party. And because he does not know all the people he also joined and bid goodbye to Mr. Angeles.

While His dad is talking he surveys the places. Ken is wary that Katkat may appear somewhere.And he was relieved not to see her around. He was afraid that the girl would insist on his bethrotal and speak of it in front of Ayaka.

Though his father says that he will not be forced to marry KatKat, still he can't trust that girl.

His father shook the hand of Mr. Angeles and again the man looked at him with such scrutiny. Then look at Ayaka who is clunging into his arms.

The eyebrow of the man slightly arose. It is such a small movement as if no one can notice it but Ken does. As if the old tycoon would like to say something to him but choose not to.

Ken just nod his head and looked the man in the eyes.

Then something caught his attention. He smells something so wonderful,lovely,alluring and sweet at the same time. He began looking for this scent then he was distracted when he heard his dad talk.

" Iha we will go now!"

"Ingat po." Ken heard the sweetest voice he had heard.

Then right there his heart begins to race.His heart beats so fast as if it is going to explode out of his chest.He could not even tell his surroundings. All he wanted is the girl's attention.But then again the girl just nodded her head to her mom and Mr. Angeles tug the girls hand and ask the girl to guide some couple.

This time again Ken did not see her face.

He was so dismayed and felt so lonely when the girl walked out.

Ken gazed and followed the girls back.

He is starting to think when and why this girl affected him but a small tugged on his arm made him back to reality.

" Ken babe are we going home?" Ayaka asked.

Ken brows slightly creased by hearing Ayaka's voice and words.

Alphonse saw Ken's reactions but did not speak what was on his mind. He continues to observe this young man in front of him.

"Alphonse we had a great night congratulations once again. Though too bad we havent' heard yet on who will be your heiress but nonetheless speak our wishes to Yvonne."

" Sure she misses you guys too! But Yvonne is still revovering." The man spoke the name of his wife lovingly.

One last pat on the back. And they all went out of the party.

Ayaka whisper to Ken's ear to bring her to her condo unit.And Ken agrees.

When his mom and dad are both in the car and him and Ayaka on his, he did not see a shadow behind them was following.
