2 He Was Waiting For Someone

"Chrysanthemum love." I give him a smile as I look at him. They all gasp at the name and clap like an idiot. I cross my arms, shaking my head. "They are really weird," I whisper while staring at them.

"Why did you choose to name 'Chrysanthemum love'? I mean, I'm not against the name. I just want to know why." He sighs as he leans his head to the table.

"As I said earlier, Chrysanthemum was my favorite flower and it reminded me of my undying love from my ex-girlfriend but doesn't worry about me since I moved on. So I decided to name that since I'm pertaining to my undying love to our customers and especially to my friends." I nod and smile at him.

"Okay, I guess it's clear now. We can do that." He smiles at me and gives me the recipe.

It is like frappuccino but the difference is the whipped cream formed into a flower with some dried powder strawberry on the top. Instead of coffee, it is a flower tea with milk and honey. Does he do this?

I didn't notice that he had been doing this the whole time. He just mentioned his idea about the drinks that he wanted to create for the special menu. And he really loved doing experimentation when it comes to beverages. That's why he kept begging me to lend the keys so he could produce a new beverage that could add to our menu.

"I really love the concept of your signature drink so I know the customers would love your creation." I praise him while smiling at him and he shows his cute box smile which results in bringing the light on our mood.

"But I will try it first before we put this on the menu." He nods as he grabs his bag, puts his tumbler out of the bag, and gives it to me. He signs me to drink it.

I drink the tea and it is surprisingly promising. It has a hint of bitterness in the tea but the milk and honey which is confounding the bitterness of the tea. I couldn't believe that he does this delightful drink in a short period of time. I give him a smile and nod as approval.

I give the tea to others and they agree on my decision which makes Theodore pleased. We gather all the ingredients and bake all the pastries that we were brainstorming a while ago. I signal Jennie to open the coffee shop at 8 in the morning so all the customers can visit the shop and get their order.

As time goes by, we are now taking a break since, a while ago, there are a bunch of customers to get some pastries, coffees, and most importantly our lunch menu. Many customers are really in love with our new signature "Chrysanthemum love". Some of them asked why we come up with the name with a flower.

"My barista loves that flower which also he wants to remind him of his undying love for his ex-girlfriend but he moved on a very long time ago so we decided that it was dedicated to all our customers and giving a reminder that you were loved and no one can take that from you," I reply.

They are all pleased with the flavor of the 'Chrysanthemum Love' at the same time, the concept behind that drink.

"Welcome to Rafflessia Cafe," I say to the guy, who just sits beside the window. He is leaning on his palm as his elbow touches on the table while looking outside as if he is waiting for someone.

I keep on smiling when seeing him close his eyes as if he feels the ambiance of the place and I can't take my eyes off him when he is very calm even if I don't see his face. My eyes wide as I look away when he notices that I'm staring at him.

"Why am I looking at him? I was being creepy." I whisper as I sigh and shrug off without waiting for him to order.

After the one hour break, I look at the guy, who's sitting beside the window but he is nowhere to be found. Where did he go? Did he order anything? I keep my eyes around the shop when searching for the guy, who just comes one hour ago.

Then, I go to Jennie and asked, "Have you seen the guy sitting beside the glass window?"

"No, I was eating at the pantry. I think Theo noticed him." I just nod and step to the kitchen, where Theodore leans his face on the table while taking a nap. I tap his shoulder to get his attention. After a half-minute, he lifts his head up to glance at me.

"Theo, have you noticed the man beside the window?" I ask while sitting beside him.

"Yes, he ordered our signature and left after taking his order. Why? Do you know him?" I sigh and shake my head. I startle when he gasps.

"Are you in love with that guy?" I glare at him and smack his left arm. Theodore chuckles while massaging his arm.

"I'm not in love with him, you dork." I snort, slam my hands on the table, and walk out of the kitchen. Theo yells from the kitchen but I decided to ignore him.

Afterward, we close the shop at 10 pm and we all wander back home to get some rest. I opened my door and saw Yang clinging to my feet. I slowly pick her up while she nuzzles onto my neck. "Have you eaten your food?" I ask her and she meows as an answer. I put her to my bed while I take a bath. I get some nightclothes and throw my body onto the bed as I roll on the side while looking at the window.

"Will I see him again tomorrow?" I whisper, yawn when I feel my eyes heavy, and drift into sleep.
