Chapter 06: The Price

Creating a zombie virus is easy, creating a zombie virus that won't destroy the world and ruin my fun is quite a bit harder, and it requires a considerable amount of test subjects.

Plus, Dollhouse wants more 'ugly' people that she can nurture and make beautiful, and she's already proven useful as she has a lot of experience keeping people sedated for long periods of time.

We have a couple dozen patients sedated in her 'ward', some for her to work on and some for my experiments, but it's not enough and we both want more.

Dollhouse's modus operandi is actually rather interesting because she's not just a regular serial killer.

Her usual method is to kidnap those she deems 'ugly': junkies, the homeless, the diseased, prostitutes. She then takes them to her hideout so she can nurture them back to perfect health which can take months.

Then, when her work is done, she kills them with a lethal injection to prevent them from making themselves ugly again, harvests their organs and taxidermies them, making them into 'dolls' that she uses to decorate her hideout.

Dollhouse legitimately thinks she's helping them, making them forever beautiful and I'm safe because I'm already 'beautiful' and I take care of myself.

She's an interesting woman, and I'm not just saying that because she's incredibly attractive and wears tiny skirts without panties.

Yes, yes, don't stick your dick in crazy, but that doesn't apply when I'm just as crazy. Where better for a crazy dick than inside a crazy chick? We'll cancel each other out, trust me.

But I haven't had a chance to take her up on her teasing yet, because we're both rather busy at the moment.

She's nursing her beloved patients back to health and I'm…

Well, I'm a little preoccupied at the moment.

You know, having your legs frozen to the ground is actually a rather interesting experience, it doesn't hurt as much as it probably should.

"You know, nothing about your breath makes sense from a scientific standpoint," I say simply, making the man in blue tights pause briefly, blinking as he hovers a few feet off the ground, staring down at me.

How did he basically make a block of ice around my lower half? My basic highschool science knowledge says that's some bullshit.

You know, I should have suspected some fuckery when I noticed that Superman's giant cone of vision was missing, but I thought he'd fucked off back to Metropolis.

And let's be honest, even if I'd realise he was still floating above the thick cloud layer, I'd have still acted.

The moment I uncapped one of my bottles, the massive cone returned directly focused on me, and from there things went a little wrong.

…I think he broke two of my ribs when he grabbed me, and that does hurt. The sound of revving makes me briefly hope he's going to look away, to just glance towards the approaching Batmobile, but it's no good as he keeps his gaze locked on me, preventing me from slipping away.

Well, this is a bit of a kerfuffle isn't it?

With one of my hands frozen to my side, I'm not going anywhere until everyone looks away, and I can't force down the brief panic before I calm down.

It's fine, I can work with this. All I need is for them to slip up for just a moment and I can escape. It's rather exciting to be honest, that they sent Superman, the king of the boy-scouts himself, after me. I'm almost flattered that they think I'm such a big deal as to deserve the super-treatment.

Now, how the fuck do I get out of this mess? I am not going to the phantom zone. I have so much more to do.

Well, first things first… let's escalate.

— Clark Kent (Superman) —

People knew he had super-vision and hearing, but very few people seemed to know that his sense of smell was just as powerful.

Legion somehow knew he was there, why else was he constantly making distractions all over Gotham, and he'd had a theory on how.

Legion seemed to know when he was being watched, in all of the times he'd been caught on camera by civilians, he always turned to look at the camera.

It was a nice trick, putting fear into the hearts of the person who tried to film him, but it gave him an idea of how Legion avoided him.

But Legion used a rather unique sedative, he'd smelt it briefly before but hadn't been able to place it, until he realised that he'd smelt it at the exact spot that someone had disappeared from.

So he had a plan. He'd close his eyes, and focus on trying to smell that particular scent, lo and behold, the moment he did, he turned to see Legion standing over an unconscious man.

Legion had immediately looked up when he opened his eyes, confirming his suspicion even as Clark flew towards him at great speeds, grabbing him and pulling him into the street, away from his would-be victim.

He'd heard the ribs crack as he tossed Legion to the ground, making him realise that Legion didn't have any kind of super-durability like so many of his villains, it was lucky he was used to holding back until he knew how much of a beating his opponent could take or he might have killed Legion by accident.

"You're sure it's him, not another copycat?" Batman asked immediately, making him nod.

"I am," Clark replied, not offended by Batman's bluntness.

"Is this about Arrow Jr?" Legion asked innocently, tilting his head as they both stared at him in disbelief, a brief burst of anger flaring up in Clark's chest.

Legion infuriated him, because he could tell Legion regretted none of it just from the causal tone.

"Arsenal, and this is about all the people you've made suffer with your sick games," Clark said coldly, making Legion outright laugh.

"Bullshit, Superboy-scout. We both know I could have killed hundreds in Gotham without you showing up, Joker certainly has. No, everyone else I've killed is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, you're here because I dared to target a sidekick of a member of your precious League," Legion chuckled, as Clark frowned. "Tell me, did Robin Hood cry? Are you scared I was going to play with Supergirl next? She's certainly cute, I bet she'd make a wonderful playmate."

He couldn't deny Legion's logic, and the casual mention of Kara made him clench his fists slightly.

He'd also noticed something else. Legion's heartbeat was incredibly steady, it had briefly sped up when he was grabbed but it almost immediately went back to a calm rhythm.

Legion wasn't scared.

"You won't be hurting anyone again, Legion," Batman said coldly, which only made Legion laugh harder.

"Really? It's cute that you think that. How many times have you said that to the Joker? Tell me, Bats, when was the last time you took down a villain and it actually stuck? How many of your villains actually stay locked up?" Legion laughed, sounding genuinely amused.

"You aren't going to Arkham, Legion," Clark said calmly, making Legion turn back to him. He'd already demonstrated how easily he could get in and out of there.

"Oh? Am I such a big deal that I get the Phantom Zone treatment? I'm almost honoured. Can you get me a place next to Zod, I want to ask him if the whole 'Kneel before Zod' thing is because he's a raging homosexual," Legion mocked, cackling to himself. "Go ahead, lock me up and throw away the key, or maybe you should just stop being a boy scout and rip my head off? Maybe melt me with your special eyes? It won't change anything, you can't stop what's coming. This won't even slow it down."

He couldn't stop the momentary burst of worry at Legion's growled words, an almost manic touch to his formerly relaxed tone.

"What's coming?" Clark asked, making Legion chuckle again, seemingly calming down. "Why did you do all this?"

"Because it's funny," Legion replied, making them pause and staring at him.

"No, you've done all this for a reason. You've spread so much fear for more than just 'amusement'," Batman said, making Legion chuckle. "Why?"

"Why?" Legion asked, before laughing again. "All right, the truth then. You wanna know why? It's because I have a dream," Legion said calmly.

"More like a nightmare," Batman said, making Legion chuckle.

"I have a dream that one day, every person in his world will control their own destiny. That power and justice will be back where they belong: in the hands of the people!" Legion continued, his tone becoming increasingly fervent. "Not in the hands of fools like you. Where every man and woman are free to think- to act- for themselves! Fuck all these limp-dick 'heroes' and chicken-shit villains, fuck this never-ending game of cops and robbers, fuck morality, fuck the corrupt government, fuck all of it!" Legion said, his voice growing louder as he gave his speech.

"You think you should decide what 'justice' is?" Batman asked, growling slightly as Legion laughed.

"No, you idiot. Weren't you listening? I want everyone to take justice into their own hands, to live by their own laws. Like you do, or did you forget that you're a vigilante, Batman?" Legion scoffed. "This world is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it. We need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. Burn it all down! From the ashes, a new world will be born! Evolved, but untamed! The weak will be purged, and the strongest will thrive - free to live and act as they see fit, they'll make this world great again!" Legion said with a zealous tone.

"You're insane," Clark realised, making Legion laugh again.

"In a mad world, only the mad are sane," Legion retorted. "And this world has gone far beyond insanity."

He went to speak again, pausing as Green Arrow and Black Canary arrived, already seeing the approaching problem as he glanced at Green Arrow's face, seeing the murderous rage on display.

— Markus Gray —

I might be in a tiny bit of trouble, given that there are four heroes in front of me, any good which could probably kick my ass without breaking a sweat.

I'm an ambush predator, not a true fighter. I prefer to hit and run rather than actually stick around for a fair fight, and none of this is even particularly fair because it's fucking Superman.

Buying time with a bullshit speech I ripped from a video game was about all I could do, but if I get out of this I want them to believe that I believe in my speech.

"Stand down, Arrow, we have this under control," Batman says, moving between me and Green Arrow who already has an arrow ready as he glares at me.

Black Canary seems worried, ahh trouble among the ranks? The Justice League don't kill, especially not defenceless captured villains like me, but Ollie wants me dead.

Heh, I can use this, especially since there are some civilians who woke up from the chaos and are probably recording it all.

This is actually a problem because as long as anyone can see me, I can't escape. I can deal with the three civilians I know are watching, I can just conjure my chains around them, but the heroes are the problem.

I don't know if Superman actually knows I need to be unobserved to escape, but he hasn't looked away even once, and he blinks so fucking fast that I can't react.

So I need to be smart if I want to get out of this because, despite my claims, the Phantom Zone would fuck me over massively.

Or maybe I could just open my portal from inside there and head home, but I'm not taking that chance.

Narrowing my eyes behind my mask, I glance towards the enraged Oliver Queen as Black Canary tries to calm him down, assuring him that I'll pay for his sidekick's death…

They're trying to douse the rage burning inside him, and whatever they want, I want the exact opposite.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure a Young Justice is mixed into this from what I've found out, so… did I actually kill Roy Harper or was it a Light Clone?

I have no idea, but that doesn't mean I can't use it.

So let's pour some oil onto the flames and see what happens.

— Dinah Laurel Lance (Black Canary) —

Seeing Legion frozen in place helped her start to calm Ollie, watching as he lowered the arrow slightly, still glaring at the still villain.

"What did you do with Arsenal's body?" Ollie finally asked, making Legion's head tilt slightly.

"I put it in the freezer, Dollhouse said he had some damn nice organs. It's good that he kept himself in such good shape," Legion said casually, making Ollie's eyes narrow. "Honestly I have no idea why you're getting so pissy, I did you all a favour."

"What," Ollie growled, making Legion giggle slightly.

"You mean you didn't know? Are you that unobservant or did you just ignore Arsenal to play with Red Arrow and Artemis? I can't blame you, they definitely fill out their costumes better than Roy ever did," Legion cackled. "I almost wish I'd started with one of them, they'd have been more fun than him."

"He's just trying to get into your head, ignore him," Dinah said quickly, seeing Ollie's temper flaring.

"Or maybe you were too busy to notice because you were making the Canary sing, you know he hoped you'd come and save him for hours, always expecting that despite everything you'd burst in and save the day. Watching that hope die was delicious," Legion chuckled, his laughter not even stopping as Ollie loosed his arrow, Superman catching it before it struck the frozen villain.

It was aimed for his shoulder, not his head, so Ollie hadn't completely lost it yet.

"What was I too busy to notice?" Ollie finally asked, his voice lowered to an angry growl as Legion burst out laughing.

"You really don't know, do you?" Legion asked, sounding incredibly amused. "Your own sidekick, kidnapped from under you and replaced and you didn't notice," Legion mocked, making them all freeze. "I didn't kill Roy Harper, I just played with the shitty clone the people who kidnapped him sent in his place. You should be thanking me for getting rid of an infiltrator, even if he was unaware of the truth himself," Legion said with a highly amused tone.

How did he know Roy's name… and did he know everyone else's?

"Lies, I'd have noticed-" Ollie started, trailing off as Legion started laughing again.

"You're claiming Arsenal was a fake?" Batman asked calmly, making Legion chuckle.

"And none of you noticed," Legion cackled.

"Arsenal is alive?" Superman asked, making Legion turn back to him.

"Eh, probably? Of course, now that the jig is up they might just put him down, tick tock, tick tock," Legion continued, utterly calm and seemingly enjoying himself despite his situation.

"And who are you claiming has him?" Batman asked, his tone very serious as Legion chuckled.

"You guys really are utterly blind, aren't you? All that skill, all those powers and the League are useless," Legion chuckled before turning back to Superman. "Maybe you should ask Lexy, he and his new buddies are the ones responsible."

"Arsenal was captured by Lex while he was still Speedy," Batman said quietly, making them all pause as they realised he might be telling the truth.

"And the great green Robin Hood couldn't even notice anything wrong when he saved the wrong one," Legion added helpfully. "Green Arrow, you have failed your sidekick," Legion said in a gruff tone, mocking Ollie's old saying.

"You think this makes a difference, after everything you've done?" Ollie asked, making Legion turn back to him.

"Hm? Oh, no. I just find it entertaining to see how useless you all really are, that said I'm pretty sure Clones don't have rights, so I don't think I did anything wrong by breaking Lex's toy," Legion admitted with an almost lazy tone. "Still, if you do manage to save him, I'll have to go for a repeat, it was kinda a bummer to realise I killed a cheap knock-off."

"You won't be hurting anyone again," Superman said, making Legion tilt his head again.

"Poor deluded Superman, how you so love your precious self-righteousness. Three miles away, a man is getting swarmed and eaten by a horde of rats, purely to show you how wrong you are," Legion said lazily, making Superman focus for a moment, his vision swivelling into the distance as his eyes widened.

"Go, we have this," Batman said, watching Superman fly away at incredible speeds.

"This changes nothing, no matter what you do, I will kill again, and if I don't? Even if you find a way to lock me away for life, Legion is more than just a single man, Legion is an idea, and you can't lock away an idea," Legion said confidently. "I will kidnap, I will torture, and I will kill, countless people will find themselves playing my games, and those that win will prove themselves above the common chaff, that they are worthy of power, of ascension in my new world. The rest will be found unworthy and be removed from the gene pool, no longer able to hold humanity back with their weakness. You're merely postponing the inevitable."

Superman returned moments later, an angry look on his face as he stared down at Legion.

"You saved him, congratulations. I'd clap if I wasn't frozen… but do you know how many rats exist in this world? No one can be there every time, not even you," Legion said calmly. "The fake Roy was weak, unworthy of ascension, that is why he died screaming for the help that never came. I wonder if Thea will be more worthy?"

The moment Thea's name left his lips, Ollie's mind was made and none of them could have stopped him as he fired another arrow.

Dinah had patrolled with Ollie plenty of times, and she'd learned to notice the differences in his arrows, identifying the trick arrows and what each of them did.

But she wasn't fast enough to warn Superman who once again caught the arrow merely a few inches away from Legion's face, the explosion even catching the man of steel off-guard.

It wasn't large compared to some of the arrows she knew Ollie had, but it was certainly dangerous at that close range.

The smoke cleared quickly, and her heart dropped as she stared at the broken ice block.

Legion was nowhere to be seen.

— Markus Gray —

Everything hurts, and I can't even enjoy my escape as I slip into the shadow world, pain flooding my every cell.

That's not exactly what I had in mind, but the explosion gave me a brief moment where I wasn't observed, Superman looking towards Green Arrow.

I wanted him to get angry enough to do something stupid, and I suppose I got what I wanted, didn't I?

If I survive this, it was a victory and Green Arrow will spend his every waking moment regretting that he helped me escape.

Opening a portal to my dimension, I slump through it to appear in Dollhouse's hospital, her eyes widening behind her own mask as she sees the state I'm in.

She doesn't even ask any questions for now, helping me towards one of the beds as I fight to retain consciousness.

As she helps me lay me down, I don't even protest as she removes my mask, a slight gasp being the last thing I hear before I finally pass out.

If I survive this, and Dollhouse doesn't stuff me and turn me into an ornament, they're going to realise just how dangerous Legion can be.

— Later —

Waking up, I groan in pain as I hear someone moving towards me.

"Easy, Legion, be careful," Dollhouse says as she moves towards my bed, watching me slowly sit up, a throbbing pain still coursing through my body.

"Fuck," I say simply, making her snort.

"That's about right, considering the state you're in. I wasn't expecting you to wake up anytime soon," Mathilda admits as I open my eyes, immediately noticing a problem.

I can see through one of my eyes.

"How long have I been out?" I ask calmly.

"Just over a day, you shouldn't be awake yet, I thought you'd be out of it for weeks," Mathilda says, making me laugh before I wince.

I don't have weeks, if it's just over a day then I still have time before I'm due back at the GCPD and I have plans for that place that I'm not giving up just because I got a little blown up.

"How bad is it?" I ask, making her sigh.

"You realise I'm a serial killer, not an actual nurse right?" Mathilda asks, making me smirk.

"And yet I'm alive. You know more than half the doctors at Gotham's general hospital," I say simply, making her smile slightly.

"Fair, I managed to stop the internal bleeding, but you took most of the blast to your face, and while your mask seems to have taken the brunt of it… but shards of the mask stabbed into one of your eyes, and you have some serious scars. Plus, you had some minor frostbite on your legs. What the hell hit you?"

My mask is tougher than it looks, like everything I got from my wardrobe in this place, it might have saved my life. Green Arrow might have killed me if I was still using the cheap plastic masks.

Touching my face, I can feel the stitches which makes me frown. That's going to be a problem. Not as much of a problem as the empty eye-socket, but a problem all the same.

"Superman, then Green Arrow blew me up," I admit, making her eyes widen.

"Superman himself came for you?" Mathilda asks, pausing. "Does this change anything?"

"Absolutely fucking not. If they think I'll be too scared to act just because they sent Superman after me, they're very mistaken," I say, making her smirk widen. "No, if anything this just speeds things up."

"You're not scared to take on Superman, after getting messed up this badly?" Mathilda asks, making me laugh.

"I was never going to be able to take them face to face, so I'm going to cheat and I'm going to cheat hard," I say with a smirk. "All Superman has done is encourage me. The bitter taste of defeat will just make my victory over them all the sweeter."

"It's not a taste you'll be experiencing anytime soon unless you have a way to heal, I really wouldn't recommend doing anything but resting, or maybe kidnapping a few actual doctors. I patched you back together, so you shouldn't die, but don't expect anymore than that," Mathilda says bluntly, making me chuckle.

Unfortunately, I don't have any way of heali-

"Legion?" Mathilda says, watching me pull myself out of bed, wincing at the sharp pain in my side.

"Call me Markus- and Mathilda, I could fucking kiss you," I say as I rise. "I need to get to my lab. I have work to do."

"That's a terrible idea, but you're the boss. Try not to bleed out, because I will harvest your organs and turn you into a body pillow and dildo," Mathilda admits, making me blink. "Also I'd be trapped here and as nice as your house is, I'd rather not be trapped in it until old age takes me."

"I can think of worse fates, but don't worry. I don't plan to die, certainly not now and possibly not ever," I say, making her smile.

"Then have fun, I'll go back to my other patients," Mathilda says with a grin.

I ignore how the man in the bed beside me struggles against his restraints as she turns her attention back to him.

Wait, I definitely had some blood on me before… Did she give me a bath?

…I definitely wasn't wearing these clothes either, and I'm pretty sure I was wearing underwear.

Let's not think too hard about that.

— Two Days Later —

Okay, so admittedly creating a virus while high on pain meds is certainly questionable, I think I've worked this out.

You see, I have an idea.

My blight lord and drug tinker powers combined can do a damn lot, and viruses aren't always bad, at least not in the illogical world of superheroes. How many heroes and villains have had viruses in their backstories?

How many lab accidents lead to regular people gaining amazing powers, going from a normal human to something much more?

I could easily engineer bio-weapons with my new power, and the half a dozen zombies I have locked in cages are evidence enough of that, but this is beyond just a weapon for me to use to spread fear.

Looking down at the small vial, I watch the slightly glowing orange liquid swirl in the tube as I frown to myself.

I've been paying attention to the public opinion since my entire confrontation with the League was caught on camera, and some people seem to think that despite my words, I have been cowed into hiding away.

Some of them even think I died from the blast, that Green Arrow murdered me, but tonight they'll relaise just how wrong they are.

I could test this, I should test this, but as I place the vial in my injector and press it against my neck, I grin.

It hurts to move, apparently one of my broken ribs pierced a lung, and while Dollhouse managed to operate on me to save my life, my body is a scarred mess.

I won't spend another moment in pain because of them, the funny thing is I don't even really mind pain, but every ache is a reminder of how powerless I was. Every time I miss something because my depth perception is fucked, my ruined left eye sitting in fucking jar in Doll's 'office', I remember how close I came to being killed by some rich playboy in green tights.

If I'm going to suffer, it'll be on my terms.

As the needle sticks into my neck, the liquid injected into my bloodstream, I grit my teeth at the sudden heat flooding my veins.

Being frozen kinda tickled, having a rib broken hurt a lot, and being blown up was rather unpleasant.

None of it compared to the agony I feel as my serum rushes through my body, my blood seemingly boiling, but this is my pain and I don't drop the injector until every last drop is in my veins.

I could have made this less painful with time and subjects, but I don't give a shit. They won't interfere with my plans, and those fools who think I've bled out somewhere will see just how wrong they are.

The funny thing is that I don't have any grudge against them, not even Green Arrow. We're enemies, the fact that he was willing to try and kill me actually gave me more respect for him than I have for any of the other three.

Will that stop me from going after him? Of course not, but I do hope he understands that when I torture and destroy his family, friends, pets and city, I'm doing it from a place of respect, not hatred.

I wouldn't want them to think I'm a bitter monster, I'm actually quite a happy one.

Well, not right now as I smash my fist into the wall, clenching my teeth to stop myself from screaming in pain.

This isn't a bad thing. I'm evolving and what's a little pain to take the next step towards transcending my humanity?

I barely notice that my fist cracked the stone wall, leaving a deep imprint and spiderweb cracks around the indentation before the building simply fixes itself.

Clutching my head, I can't stop the first scream as the burning reaches my empty eye socket, intensifying considerably as my new parasitic virus finds something wrong with its host.

Honestly, calling it a symbiote is more accurate but parasite feels right as it takes offence to my missing eyeball.

I can feel my stitches being pushed out as the flesh warps, and the burning pain in my chest that must be from my ribs repairing

Well, I say 'repairing' but Dollhouse's genius solution to my broken ribs was just to cut them out with a comically large bone saw so 'regrowing' would be more correct.

I might actually need to get some actual doctors instead of my mad hot nurse, but frankly, I find her work fascinating.

Any other thoughts are drowned out as the pain intensifies once more, and my mind is taken elsewhere.

— Mathilda Mathis (Dollhouse) —

Her new boss might be genuinely insane, but he was truly fascinating.

The screams and sounds of violence coming from his lab made her bite her lip, wondering if he'd actually killed himself with whatever he'd been working on, the occasional mad cackling coming from within.

Markus hated his new scars, he tried to hide it, but she could tell the way they'd marred his beauty had affected him, and he'd thrown himself into his research to 'fix' that.

It was then that she realised they were kindred spirits, and she found herself truly rooting for his survival.

It truly was a shame her father had already passed away, as she was sure they'd have gotten along wonderfully and her family would have been able to do so much more with such a nice base of operations.

The sounds finally came to an end, over an hour after they'd started, making her pause and wonder if she should go into his lab.

He'd told her that nowhere in his house was 'off-limits' (which she'd immediately used to tease him as she used the larger bath in his en-suite instead of her own, making sure to give him a show), so he wouldn't mind if she-

Her thoughts were interrupted as the door opened, Markus stepping out as his eyes locked with hers, despite the fact that she still had one of them in a jar.

Markus had rather cute emerald green eyes, 'had' being the important word there as a pair of almost glowing red eyes stared at her.

The red iris fading to a lighter orange as it got closer to the centre, where a pair of catlike-slit pupils made her gulp, making her gasp slightly as he grinned at her dangerously.

He also no longer had the facial or body scarring, and unless she was very much mistaken his muscles seemed more defined now.

"Do you have your knives?" Markus asked, his voice sounding more… primal than his usual deceptively innocent tone, making her blink and reach into her pocket, pulling out a scalpel.

"Of course," Mathy said, what girl would go anywhere without her murder weapon of choice?

"Cut me," Markus ordered, making her blink before she shrugged, slashing at his pectoral muscle, pausing as she saw something black under the cut, that was noticeably not bleeding.

The cut almost immediately closed, tiny black tendrils forcing the flesh back into shape as Markus's grin grew more feral.

"You did it," Mathy said simply, admiring the pristine flesh, not a single hint of the injury left.

"I did," Markus agreed, tilting his head before he smirked. "Follow me."

It wasn't a request, and she knew it. Still, she'd thrown her lot in with Legion at this point and obediently followed behind him.

She was a natural follower, it was why she hadn't been nearly as successful on her own as she had been under her father's tutelage, and she was almost happier with someone to follow, especially someone who gave her plenty of sick patients to treat.

Moving back onto the hospital bed, Markus smirked at her.

"Hurt me," he demanded, and a saner woman would have stopped and asked questions.

She was not a sane woman, and her scalpel lashed out almost immediately, slashing at his body as he grinned, watching the wound close.

Removing all his clothes, he laid back down and encouraged her to keep going, but it wasn't long before her mind started to wander.

He wasn't getting off on this, as his still flaccid cock proved, but it had been a while for her and she couldn't stop herself from staring.

He seemed a decent size, but she wondered how large it would grow when he was aroused, making Markus chuckle.

"Oh, would you rather play a different game?" Markus asked teasingly, making her return his smile seductively as she reached down and gently grasped his cock, still wearing her red gloves as she started to stroke him.

"We can play two games at once," Mathy said simply, climbing onto the hospital bed herself, sitting on his legs as she felt him grow harder in her hand.

Her other hand gently dragged the scalpel across his chest, watching the cut close with awe-filled eyes.

It felt incredibly taboo to be the one marring such a beautiful body, but it was incredibly exciting to watch the damage simply vanish.

So exciting that when she shuffled forwards, her nurse dress riding up slightly, she didn't even have any issue sinking down on his admittedly large cock, already well lubricated.

Her excitement only grew as she remembered that there were four men and three women currently strapped to their beds in the room with them, her 'ward' was not built for privacy as the patients were forced to witness this.

She hoped the men didn't get any expectations about her bedside manner, as none of those fools who had let poor decisions make them so ugly deserved to feel her pussy clenching down on their shafts as she rode them, to slip their hands under her dress and play with her curvy ass like Markus was.

"I should have fucked you the moment I brought you back here," Markus said, making her giggle.

"We can make up for lost time, as your personal nurse it's my job to take care of all your needs," Mathy teased, bouncing on his lap as she pulled her dress down to reveal her incredibly perky tits, one of his hands immediately moving up to grope them.

Yes, it was truly a shame her dear old dad was dead, she was sure he'd have approved of her bringing Legion into their happy little family.

But she'd continue his legacy… and with Markus's help, she'd make sure his legacy continued after her.

He wouldn't mind, after all… he didn't seem to have any interest in pulling out of her.

— Markus Gray —

Waking up next to a very naked Dollhouse isn't a bad thing, listening to her quiet breathing for a moment as I carefully move out of the bed, not wanting to wake her.

I'm wide awake, but I don't think I've actually slept for more than a couple of hours. An unexpected side effect of my new state.

The funny thing is that I don't really know how my viruses work. I know what it does, but how it works is a mystery, even to me.

The main part was the regenerative factor, because I came far too close to death, the enhanced senses, speed and strength were almost accidental.

To be honest, I once again stole the idea from somewhere else. Albert Wesker had a prototype virus, a unique strain of the 'T-Virus', which gave him immense powers.

It's video game bullshit, but I'm video game bullshit now, so all I had to do was think that I wanted to create something that mimicked the effects and my power provided.

I already can tell that there will be side effects, beyond just my eyes which I'll have to find a way to hide before I go out in public again, but I don't care.

In the grand scheme of things, I'm still very weak compared to the bullshit powers DC had to offer and I suspect most heroes would still beat my ass, but I can't deny that I want to test my new form.

I should be able to survive a gunshot now, so I can take more risks. The fools thought they were stopping me, but all they did was give me the motivation to step up my game.

Speaking of which…

I don't hate Green Arrow, I'm actually rather thankful for him being so easily agitated, he was an essential part of my escape after all.

In fact I'm so grateful, I should do something nice for him.

Like giving him back his beloved sidekick.

— Roy Harper —

Looking around Star City, Roy would have been relieved to be back in his home, but such thoughts were rather beyond him at the moment as he locked eyes with a woman, making her blink before she let out a scream.

She turned and tried to run, but his new instincts immediately got to work as he pursued her, easily catching up to her as her scream drew the attention of some other civilians.

Not that it mattered, as they could only watch in horror as he pounced forwards like some kind of feral animal, biting into her neck, tearing out a large chunk of flesh.

Most had the sense to run, but not all of them.

As he looked up at one particularly stupid man, standing there with a phone aimed at the grisly scene, Roy felt his mouth water as he charged forwards with an inhuman screech, the man finally realising he should have run entirely too late as Roy closed the distance between them with unnatural speed, pinning the man to the ground and slashing at him with his elongated nails, easily shredding the weak flesh beneath him.

Roy Harper loved Star City, but as he was now he had only one desire: to feed and spread his gift.

As he set off into the still busy night, his enhanced senses picking up more food, he didn't even stop to watch as the two corpses rose, their flesh rotting at unnatural speeds as they both screeched, joining the hunt.

The old Roy Harper would have been horrified at the sight, but he was dead, quite literally, and such thoughts were far beyond his capabilities.

The new Roy Harper charged into the night, unaware and uncaring of the mocking face spray-painted onto his old 'Speedy' outfit, a message to let everyone know who was responsible for this latest horror.

It seems like Legion's antics attracted a lot more attention than he expected, because last night he found himself taken down by fucking Superman himself.

Yup, the hero of Metropolis himself decided to fly over and track down Legion, catching him in the act and easily capturing him.

Then Batman, Green Arrow and Black Canary also showed up, because the League don't take kindly to Legion's games.

So that means he's no longer a threat, right? Well… no.

Thankfully, a brave (insane) civilian managed

to film most of the encounter and well… it's better to see it yourself.

Yup.

Welp, great job to the discount Robin Hood, I especially liked the part where he fucked up and helped Legion escape.

►BatFan

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

Okay, yeah that was a mistake but Legion clearly knew how to get under his skin.

He should have let Batman and Superman handle things, but I can understand why he lost his temper.

►GotHam?

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

'Lost his temper?'

You mean 'attempted to murder a defenceless, captured villain?'

Because that's blatantly what he did, he knew Superman would catch the arrow and sent a fucking bomb instead.

Legion probably survived but that must have hurt

Hm, Legion's speech aside…

Did anyone notice how Legion didn't pull his disappearing act until after the explosion blocked everyone's view?

If he could have left at any time, I doubt he'd just sit there and let himself get blown up. Possible power limitation?

Good catch Mystery, obviously we can't confirm it but I'll put it on the wiki as a theory until we can prove or disprove it.

Shit, does this mean there'll be no more streams?

►BatFan

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

I certainly hope so, considering those 'streams' were of real people suffering and dying for the entertainment of the masses.

Exactly, it was like a modern-day gladiator show. Suddenly I understand why that shit was so popular.

Especially when you get to give the thumbs up or down.

Here's hoping he just bled out in a corner somewhere and we don't have to see him again

What was that shit he was saying about Arsenal being a fake though?

And who is 'Thea'?

►BatFan

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

He was obviously talking out of his ass to buy time

And we shouldn't look into 'Thea', they're obviously someone close to Green Arrow's civilian identity

►GotHam?

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

Nah, fuck that

Honestly, I know I'm gonna get shit for this but you can't deny Legion was spitting some facts.

The guy is obviously insane but he kinda had a point about 'the never-ending game of cops and robbers'.

Not so sure about the whole 'Burn it all down' but Legion might be onto something.

He's on some survival of the fittest thing from what I could work out.

As a barely five-foot-tall woman, I'd really rather not have the world fall into a might-makes-right lawless wasteland, even if it is frustrating when the heroes arrest some psycho and he's back on the streets a month later

►Feychick

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

The point was that power should be given to 'the people', not hoarded by the few who were lucky enough to get superpowers (or have the money for super tech)

I think?

And the games he's holding are to help work out who really deserves that power?

►XxVoid_CowboyxX

Replied On Sep 14th 2018:

Guys, obviously Green Arrow is a member of Legion.

Think about it, Legion is captured and headed towards Superman's secret prison, and then Green Arrow 'accidentally' provides the smokescreen for him to escape?

He probably handed Arsenal over to Legion himself.

It's also for fun, but not profit since I don't get paid for this.

Worry not, my adoring fans. I, your beloved host, am very much alive and not bleeding out in a corner somewhere (much like you'll be when I get my hands on you, Answer Key, or do you prefer Jamie? We can talk about that in person.)

I've just been rather busy preparing a very special surprise (and working on some more games for the show)

The streams will continue, I'm actually planning on making them more frequent, with a lot of variety to keep you all on the edge of your seats!

Especially now that I'm recruiting some more staff to help with the streams such as the lovely Dollhouse, freed from Gotham to ply her trade once more (unrelated side note but if anyone needs some organs, hit me up because oh boy do we have a good supply)

I'd like to thank Green Arrow for his assistance in escaping from Superman. In fact, I'm so grateful that I've already sent him a gift. They're wandering around Star City as I type this, I hope you all enjoy it!

Any Star City readers might want to lock their doors.

I'd also like to announce my expansion, as I've decided it's not fair for Gotham and Star City to hog my attention, so worry not, I'll be spreading my roots nice and far, starting with Metropolis.

It's the least I can do after Supes came all this way just for little old me.

Basically, as I told them, they changed nothing and now I'm going to have a lot of fun at their expense.

Trust me, I have so much in store for you all. My words might not have made sense just yet, but don't worry Princess.

In my new world, you'll have just as much a chance to become one of the strong as any man, size is useful but there's so much more to power than physical stature alone.

Finally, to all my copycats out there… go wild! Have fun, blame whatever you want on me, tell them I kidnapped your poodle and threatened to skin it if you didn't steal from that cash register, that I had your dear old mother at gunpoint and demanded that you stab your wife's not-so-secret lover! Give them my MHO handle, I'll tell them I did it all.

The three guys who robbed a liquor store wearing Legion masks? Yeah I was all three. The guy who stabbed a passerby and stole his wallet? Yup, that's me too. I did everything and anything I'm accused of. Unless it wasn't cool, then it was another Legion.

Now, I'd love to stay and chat but Dollhouse finally woke up and we've got work to do. Stay tuned, and Jamie? I'm coming for you.

End of Page. 1, 2, 3 ... 103, 104, 105

Sitting back in his chair, Vandal Savage stroked his chin with a growing smile. The rest of the Light had gone into a panic as Legion revealed their deception with Roy Harper, but they were looking at this wrong.

Conflict helped people grow stronger, it was their goal to help humanity grow by providing that conflict… So why would they shun it themselves?

No, he didn't care that the League was onto them, he welcomed it even.

The others saw Legion as a problem, except for Klarion who found it funny and Ra's who he suspected saw the same thing Vandal did, but the others didn't see the bigger picture.

Legion's speech rang a chord inside him, because the young villain's beliefs were very similar to his own, to the goals of the Light, though in more crude words.

The difference was that they said it behind closed doors, while Legion said it to Superman's face without fear or the need for all this secrecy.

A new Earth, with an evolved and untamed humanity. Legion had quite the enticing vision, perhaps he should see how the child planned to achieve this vision.

At the very least, Legion was as much of a thorn in the League's side as he was in the Light's, and Savage could respect that.
