CHAPTER ONE

"What's happening to me?" Aurora asked herself as she walked home through the woods.

It was a crisp Autumn night when Aurora noticed the first signs of her transformation.

As she walked home from a late-night photography session in the woods, a full moon illuminated the sky casting an ethereal glow on everything around her.

Suddenly, a strange sensation coursed through her veins, as if her very essence was changing.

"hello! Is anyone here, please I'm scared and I need help", she cried.

Confusion, fear gripped Aurora as her body underwent a metamorphosis she couldn't comprehend. Her fears heightened as she could hear the rustling of leaves and the distant howling of wolves.

She tried to run, but felt an uncontrollable urge to let go of her inhibitions and embrace the wildness within her.

She fell to the ground and zoned out.

"It could be a dream, please let this be a dream" she mumbled to herself the next morning. When she woke up, she was covered in dirt and was disoriented.

She couldn't remember what had happened the previous night no matter how hard she tried to, a sense of unease lingered.

"My smooth skin now bears faint traces of fur, and my nails are now sharper" she explained to her friend Emma, who was quite confused and was scared for Aurora.

"all of these happened to you overnight?" Emma asked.

"yes! And I can't even seem to remember how it happened. i just woke up to see that i'm covered in dirt" Aurora responded.

As days turned into nights, Aurora's transformation continued to happen. She sought answers, scouring books, asking her parents about her lineage and birth.

"Were my ancestors werewolves?" she asked herself as she continued to find answers that could shed light on her condition.

It was during her research that she stumbled upon the ancient legend of werewolves.

According to the tales, werewolves are creatures of both human and wolf blood. Their existence was intertwined with the cycles of the moon and during a full moon, their wolf-like nature would take over, leaving them with little or no control over their actions.

Aurora's heart raced as she realized the truth. " Am i a werewolf?!" she shouted surprisingly.

"I have to learn how to navigate this new reality, and find a new way to embrace my dual nature," she told Emma.

With newfound determination, Aurora sought out the guidance of an old hermit who lived on the outskirts of the town.

The hermit known as Otis was rumored to possess knowledge of supernatural beings. Aurora hoped he could help her understand her transformation and help her control it.

As she made her way through the dense forest to Otis's cabin, Aurora kept having a feeling as though she was being watched. " Is anyone here?, why're you following me!?" she kept asking as she couldn't shake off the feeling of being followed.

She finally reached Otis's cabin and was too scared to go in. She stood outside and tried to speak to him.

"Otis, I need your help," Aurora pleaded, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and hope.

The hermit came outside and studied her for a minute, his gaze seeming to pierce through her very soul. "Here comes the young werewolf seeking guidance" he said with a welcoming smile. "Come in, we have much to discuss" he welcomed her in.

While they were inside the cabin, Otis shared tales of werewolves and ancient rituals and practices that had been passed down through generations.

The more the hermit shared with Aurora, the scarier it was to her as she pleaded with the hermit to help her live her normal life back.

"Your case is a case of a rebirth and you have been chosen, and it is a process that would awaken your true potential as a werewolf" he further explained.

"you must learn to embrace both your human and wolf sides, only then would you find balance and control" he advised..

Aurora listened intently, her mind racing with many questions.

"How can I reconcile my newfound instincts with my everyday life? Can I even trust myself not to harm those that I care about? she asked the hermit with fear as this new chapter of her life was a whole lot for her to handle.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months as Aurora immersed herself in her training. Otis taught her the art of shape-shifting, guiding her through meditation and visualization exercises.

He emphasized the importance of harnessing her inner strength and finding harmony within herself.

Under Otis's guidance, Aurora learnt to channel her wolf-like instincts into her everyday life. But with each day passing by, the pull of the full moon grew stronger, reminding her of the beast within.

As the next full moon approached, Aurora felt a mixture of excitement and apprehension. The full moon one fateful night.

Under the luminous glow of the full moon, Aurora ventured into the heart of the Enchanted Forest. Otis had earlier told her about the Enchanted Forest.

"In there you'd find more answers about your new self and meet others like you" he told her before she left his place.

She summoned courage as she wandered through the forest, she stumbled upon an ancient stone circle, pulsating with an otherworldly energy.

Drawn to the power of the ancient stone circle, Aurora stepped into the circle, unknowingly activating an ancient ritual.

In a blinding burst of light, Aurora found herself transported into a different time and place. She awakened in a world where werewolves were hunted and feared, their existence reduced to mere legends.

"where i am?, what's happening here?" She sought answers but couldn't get one.

Confused and scared, Aurora realized that she had been reborn as a werewolf. Legends were true and she was now a part of that ancient lineage.

As realization sank in, a mix of exhilaration and apprehension coursed through her veins.

Aurora's transformation came with a newfound strength and agility. She could run faster than the wind, leap great distances and possessed an uncanny ability to track scents.

However, the powers also came with a price. The moon held sway over her, dictating her transformation and unleashing her inner beast.

" I can't control my transformation yet, I'm scared I don't want to end up hurting those that I love" she cried to herself hoping to get answers as she looked into the sky.

With each passing moonlit night, Aurora would be forced to grapple with her dual nature. She discovered that she wasn't alone, there were others like her. These are fellow werewolves who had also undergone the rebirth, they came together to work as one.
