21 Her death

Ethan sat in his office still in a daze.

"Her blood is on your hands! You killed Charlotte!" The words kept repeating in his head. His guilty conscience couldn't let him rest.

"No, I didn't!" He kept repeating the same words again and again.

He then remembered that day.

He gathered his army and addressed it.

"Today, is the day to demolish the cleansed hearts faction. It will be a sudden ambush!"

"No mercy! They are traitors!"

"Yes, sir!" He then instructed five of his men.

"Kill everyone except Johnson and his wife Charlotte! Johnson will die by my hands!" He had always been jelousy of Johnson as he was very outstanding among his peers. Rubbing salt on his wounds, he also took Charlotte accumulating his deep hatred!

"Also, bring Charlotte without a single scratch or else it will cost your lives!"

"Yes, sir!"
