54 Aiden's sorrow

All this happened in Aiden's presence. He didn't know what exactly happened between the two but knew that it wasn't a pleasant thing.

With that, he moved out in sorrow. Was he going to lose his new friends because of him? What did dad do to Uncle Liam and Uncle Louis?

He found a small garden with a pleasant atmosphere and calming air. He sat down lost in his thoughts. He didn't even notice Myla's presence until she touched his shoulder.

He didn't even dare look into her eyes. He felt ashamed of his father.

"Aiden, look at me." Myla said.

"How dare I? After all that my father has done. I don't understand it clearly. But I have a rough understanding of it.

I know it's brazen to say but am sorry." He said all that in a hurry.

"Aiden, don't feel or even say that. We kids shouldn't take the responsibility for our parents' mistakes. I know you feel guilty but stay at ease. I won't resent you and I know that's how others feel." Myla consoled him.
