41 Chapter 39 - Old acquaintance

In their small house, one ghost and two men sat opposite to each other. Wei Xiao was sipping tea while watching Zhao Fu covering his face from Alexander, Alexander was grinning at Zhao Fu, pleased by the other's reaction. Wei Xiao placed his cup down and eyed the two, he was regretting letting them in.

"May I ask why are you in my dwelling with a ghost?" Wei Xiao said with an undisguised annoyance. He didn't care whether Alexander was royalty or not, he knew that the palace has no say within the cultivation world, and on top of that, Alexander has just awakened his ability, he's no match for Wei Xiao.

Alexander turned to him and smiled. It was a prefatory smile he gave to anyone he met first, he didn't bother giving Wei Xiao any other kind of smile. "I found this little ghost a while ago, and he seems to be stuck to me." Alexander showed a row of white teeth to Zhao Fu which made the other shiver.
