5 Chapter 5
As the sun went down, Asahi and the others went out on their separate way as he headed back to his home. Of course that is after collecting all of the data from the children.
Asahi's house is quiet and dark as it always has been ever since his parents died, but for Asahi, this quiet and darkness is his comfort after a long day of training. It might not be a big house, and the wood is worn out, but it was the best in his opinion.
Sitting on his not-so-soft mattress, Asahi enters the virtual world and creates dummies for each of the children, not getting greedy at making more for his own.
Children are the future of the village
That's what he always tells himself.
Now within his virtual world, there are now ten dummies working hard for the future of the Yokogakure, not like anyone will know other than Asahi, who will take credit for all their work.
For the newcomers, Asahi ordered them to research purely about taijutsu just like what the first trio did.
Speaking of the trio, after researching purely about taijutsu for 1 year and 8 months straight, Asahi cut their research time to 8 hours for taijutsu, 8 hours for ninjutsu, and the remaining 8 hours for chakra training. (A/N: As I said earlier, time moves 10 times faster in the virtual world compared to the real world.)
The taijutsu researched by the dummies is enough to build a solid foundation for Asahi, Osamu, and Hattori, and to improve further, more data are required aka, more knowledge.
This is another limitation of the AI Training Simulator, their knowledge is limited to what the original knew, meaning it was the children's lack of experience that limited their growth.
Asahi however, has a way to bypass this problem.
But even then, taijutsu alone won't let Asahi reach the level of his imaginary rival so he switches his attention to ninjutsu and chakra.
By training ninjutsu, Asahi hopes to use his current known ninjutsu in the most efficient way and hopefully find a way to raise his element affinity, inventing a new Jutsu if possible.
Asahi's nature elements are Fire, Earth, and surprisingly, Yang.
For the first two, Asahi already knows about them because he has the same element in his past life but when the dummy checks his nature element using a high-tech machine that Asahi had never seen before, it turns out he also has Yang energy.
He doesn't know if it's because he goes back in time or if he has it all along.
However, it only surprises him for a bit as he shrugs it off and moves on knowing that he doesn't have a way to use the Yang element yet.
As for Osamu and Hattori's element nature, it was Water for the former and Wind for the latter.
The two only having one affinity is normal since the two's parents are normal civilians and this doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing because their attention is focused only on one element.
However, the big problem that all of the children must face is their chakra reserves.
Except for Reiki, all of their parents are civilians meaning they lost in the gamble of genes. Asahi is included in this group and so he hopes that the dummy will be able to this problem because in his past life, his chakra were only able to barely reach the chunin level.
Although strength isn't based solely on the level of chakra, it can still be a limiter to a ninja's capabilities that prevents them from mastering more ninjutsu.
After staying for a while, Asahi exited the AI Training Simulator.
It was currently night, but Asahi didn't plan to sleep just yet as he once again called upon the floating screen, he mentally clicked the screen on the right.
[Combat Training Simulation]
The world around Asahi changes as he finds himself on an open grass field, this is the same virtual world from the AI Training Simulator except the ten training dummies are missing.
Combat Training Simulation, CTS for short, is a training not for the dummies but for Asahi, here he can summon as many dummies as he wants although he can only summon any dummies within the database.
Over the course of the months, Asahi has been using this place and already knows how to use the place. However, whether he can bring other people here, he doesn't know and has no plan to tell anyone just yet without the preparation of a good explanation.
"Twenty should be manageable, right?" Talking to himself, Asahi clicked something on the floating screen in front of him as dozens of figures suddenly appeared standing before him.
Ten 'Osamu' and Ten 'Hattori'
Without a cue, the twenty dummies immediately charge toward Asahi with 'Osamus' in the lead because of their speed.
One of the 'Osamu' kicked forward while another came from another direction trying to punch him.
Asahi meticulously watched his opponent's moves as he calmly dodged and blocked the attacks.
Unfortunately, these 'inexperience' kids stood no chance Asahi who possessed the experience of a 42-year-old chunin ninja.
In the face of the dummies' reckless attacks, Asahi doesn't lose his ground, showcasing his unique taijutsu skill, which focuses on blocking, controlling, and then hitting. He mainly uses his two hands in combat, only using his feet and this fighting style gives him more solid footing on the ground.
The fight ends up looking like one side bullying on his part as he sweeps the dummies to the ground.
Asahi wore a smile while beating up his 'friends' and if he is seen by the original Osamu and Hattori, they will call him crazy.
Still, he makes sure that beating twenty versions of his friends won't get over his head knowing that his current strength is still at the genin level. That is already considering his accumulated experience in his past life.
The thing limiting his strength is his chakra reserve and underdeveloped body.
"Let's get serious shall we?" Asahi declared with a devilish grin as he summoned more dummies.
Another twenty more dummies appear in front of him but instead of 'Osamu' or 'Hattori', all of the dummies look just like him.
Facing ten 'Asahi' dummies, he grinned as he said;
"Let's dance!"
