Chapter 15

After signing his name, the octopus touches Asahi's head with the end of its tentacle as he imparts the summoning technique in Asahi's mind using his peculiar ability.

Images of the summoning seal appeared in Asahi's mind causing him to smile.

'Success!' The boy secretly cheered.

He wasn't sure whether his plans would work but he decided to take the risk after seeing the octopus' strength.

It was a Jonin level at the very least!

And now, this beast is his summoned animal!

Not just the giant octopus but also its eight babies and the following generation of this octopus family! Even though they are still infant, they will serve as reliable allies to the village in the future.

However, this doesn't necessarily mean that Asahi can be classified as a Jonin-level ninja just yet,

Asahi doesn't have enough chakra just yet to summon the parent octopus to fight in his stead meanwhile the eight baby octopuses were still weak.

"Yosh, I will start thinking of ways how to save your children so don't disturb me," Asahi sat down and softly said.

*ROAR!*

This behavior doesn't please the parent octopus who is growing impatient witnessing his offspring suffer but Asahi has already closed his eyes and entered the world inside his brain.

Inside the ATS, Asahi was greeted by the hardworking dummies that were the source of his and his group's strength.

These dummies had been researching different ways to improve their original strength for thirty years straight and had come up with the best combat style that suited the original's preference and talent and also created a module training plan that would allow the children to be at least a Chunin-level ninjas with pure systematical training alone.

Alas, the resources given by the Yokokage aren't enough to break the shackles that separate the average from the geniuses as most of the dummies have reached a bottleneck in their research, excluding Asahi which was solved with the addition of the 'Keiki' dummy which is now his.

Had the originals just possessed more experience and knowledge, their dummy counterparts might have been able to pave the path to Jonin-level for them, just like what Asahi's dummies achieve.

But this is just merely information and he still needed to put in the work.

Asahi estimates that it will take him 5 to 9 years before reaches that realm he never reached in his past life.

Walking past the other clone, Asahi went to his copy.

"Stop what you are doing and help me find a way to remove the poison in the octopus' body!" He ordered and without any question, the two 'Asahi' sprung into action.

As a copy, they also share Asah's memories as they quickly understand the situation without further explanation.

The two bite their left ring finger and press their palm on the ground channeling their chakra and said simultaneously;

"Summoning Jutsu!"

"Summoning Jutsu!"

A puff of smoke appeared as a total of eight normal-sized octopuses appeared in front of the two dummies.

Without even talking to each other, the two 'Asahi' split the task into two, four babies each as they started.

(A/: From now on, I will call dummies from the similar person as 'Dummy' 1 and 'Dummy' 2, Asahi's copy is 'Asahi 1' and Keiki Asahi is 'Asahi 2')

The original Asahi marvels as he watches his dummies examine the baby octopuses using some high-tech machines that seemingly materialize out of nowhere.

'It's different than before' Asahi mused while observing the piece of metal in front of him.

'Maybe this is for animals'

The examination was quick because they only wanted to determine the poison in the octopus' body and soon enough, a detailed report was passed to Asahi.

'I should build one of these for the village'

Asahi noted as he observed the screen on the machine which showed the different chakra nodes that the poison was blocking.

After determining the locations of the poisons, they then now need to find ways to remove them from the octopus' body without using any medicine which Asahi currently lacked.

'Fortunately, the poison's main job is to block chakra circulation in the person's chakra nodes, to solve this, I just need to 'unclog' these chakra nodes.'

The two dummies also share the same ideas as they controlled their chakra to enter one of the baby octopuses while wearing cool-looking shades that allowed them to see the chakra pathways.

'I should make one of this too,'

Asahi was also wearing the same glasses as he added to his 'to-create' list.

The two operations were a success and the dummies were able to destroy the 'wall' that blocks the chakra circulation within the body.

"Check the octopus condition." 'Asahi 1' commanded as the machine scanned the baby octopus's body and 'Asahi 2' also did the same.

'Phew...it looks like everything went well.'

The autopsy shows that there is no longer chakra-clogging poison in the test subject Asahi sighs in relief.

'It looks like I won't be buried deep in the sea today.' He joked with a light laugh as the worry in his shoulders was lifted.

However, finding a solution isn't the end.

The dummies cannot go out in this virtual world and so Asahi must learn to do it himself.

Taking one of the sick octopuses summoned by the dummies, Asahi performed the operation and with great difficulty, he succeeded.

However, he wasn't conceited with this success.

'This won't do, the operation relied so much on these magical glasses. Without it, the chance of failure is high'

'To be able to perform this treatment in the real world, I can only do this...'

Differentiating the octopuses based on their size and color, Asahi named them octopuses 1 to 8.

'Extreme situation requires extreme measures...' This was once a piece of advice given from an acquaintance and he never forgot it since.

Taking it to the extreme, Asahi memorizes the chakra nodes of the octopus and the poison's location in each of the octopus bodies!

'Well, hard work makes the dream work right?'

Asahi humored as he trained hard, expelling the poison from the octopuses' bodies several times until he was able to do so without the use of the 'chakra pathway seeing glasses' as Asahi calls them.
