1 Whatever happens happens for good

'Whatever happens, happens for good. '

It's an old saying which I heard maybe when I was a kid in an orphanage.

The sisters in the orphanage always tell me this whenever I was in a bad mood it when my day is bad.

Honestly, most of the time my day is bad.

My dream was for me who was an orphan to get a good job with a plentiful salary and a nice beautiful wife.

Especially a wife.

so I studied and studied and studied and wracked my brains off to get a seat at a good university.

As adults say, if you get into a good college you would get a good job. And with a good job, you would get a good wife.

So after I got a scholarship I went to apply for a 1st rate university.

All was done and I got accepted. My life was happy after that... That is what I'm not gonna say.

My Life got more crappy after that.

Some rich second-generation dumb kid bribed the principal and took my spot at the university.

And I tried to argue with the principal and said that I will sue him.

But what I got from him was that ' Listen to me well young man. I don't run a charity business here. You came due to a scholarship and I won't get much benefit from that. But this young man here has paid the fees with extra money for the betterment of the university.

Listen here he has his parents to make proud of himself and he also has to inherit their business.

He has more importance than you who is an orphan.

You can go to another university if you want or you can just get a job to feed yourself. No one has any expectations of you.'

Was all the crap he said from his bullshit mouth.

Listening to him I stood up and went outside of the university to my home.

Did you think I just did that?

No.

Was I gonna leave him alone?

No.

I waited there. Pretended to consider what he said.

Then I ordered a cup of coffee from his office.

This principle thinking that I understood grinned from ear to ear.

When the hot coffee was served I held the cup in my hands and when I was just gonna drink a dip from it... I splashed the hot coffee on the principal's grinning face.

The principal who was surprised couldn't react in time and screamed from the same bullshit mouth of his.

Honestly, seeing the principal in that state satisfied my heart greatly and I couldn't help but smile.

But I knew... I knew that I was fucked.

But did I regret my actions?

The answer was a big no.

I am a petty person and I would take my revenge one day or another.

After that I took my things and ran away from the university before letting the principal come to his senses.

The next day my fears came true.

The news of what happened to the principal had spread and I got the nickname of a problem child.

Due to this no other university would accept me and would reach me.

But I was not disappointed.

Although my dreams of marrying a nice wife may not come true I could still feed myself and lead an enjoyable life with freedom.

All said and done, I still believed the saying, ' Whatever happens, happens for good. '

So I kept going on and on in life just believing this saying.

Thinking like this many years passed and I eventually got bored.

Very bored.

I had nothing to do except a job from morning to afternoon.

So to get rid of this boredom I started studying novels.

Honestly many novels were bad but some were good.

But particularly one novel attracted my interest towards it.

' The Hero's trial' was what that novel was called.

Written by an author called, ' God from another world'.

I couldn't help but cringe when I saw the author's nickname.

Seriously who would keep a name like that?

But except for his name, the novel was very good.

I mean very very good.

But still, it had a few flaws.

The first one was that every main character except the hero would die at some point in the story.

This seriously left a bad taste in my mouth.

And the second one was that the hero was too op.

I mean too much op.

But that was not a problem for me as I didn't care about that.

What I cared about was that despite being so op, the hero dies after killing the Demon king.

The cause was that he had many serious injuries.

He could only kill the Demon king due to a stroke of luck and nothing more.

This seriously flipped my view of the saying,

' Whatever happens, happens for good. '

If in this novel every main character dies then what's the use of something happening good if you can't enjoy it?

I argued about the ending to the author 'God of another world'.

I cursed him saying that he's a Fucker who doesn't know how to write an ending.

But he gave no reply.

Then... Ting.

A strange message came asking, ' Then can you make sure that no main characters die? '

I marvelled at his question.

Thinking that he wants me to make some changes in the novel, I said, " of course, I can do that."

Then he instantly replied, ' All the best.'

That was all.

There was nothing else he sent. Not a manuscript, copyright, etc.

Nothing.

Then how should I help you in changing some parts where the main characters don't die?

"Whatever I don't care."

I was lazy enough to care about such things.

I immediately closed my laptop and went to sleep.

' whatever happens, happens for good. '

I thought before going to sleep.

Suddenly...

Boom

Lightning from God knows where struck me out of nowhere.

I was seriously baffled by the sudden change of events.

I couldn't even scream due to the amount of pain.

No honestly, I felt nothing except that my consciousness was slipping away from me.

When I struggled to look at the rooftop with my remaining consciousness, all I saw was a big hole in my rooftop.

Above the hole on the rooftop, all I saw was a red moon.

'Beautiful'

I thought. That was the only word that came to my mind seeing the red moon.

Slowly losing consciousness I thought of the same saying. The saying which I believed my whole life,

'whatever happens happens for good. '

" Fuck it."

That was all I could say before my vision was replaced by darkness.
