24 Octaves, Declared

I was amazed as I looked around the glass museum, where numerous treasures were floating in the air enclosed in a bright light.

Our guide, Sam, welcomed us and explained that the museum held treasures preserved from unknown times. He also mentioned that if anyone got chosen by one of the dormant treasure spirits, it would be the luckiest day of their life.

Sam chuckled as he saw the greed in some students' eyes, knowing that the spirits chose only those with outstanding talent.

Kai was more interested in Derek than the treasures. Not in that way though, but like a hunter looking to hunt his prey.

It was time for the Octave group to take action. This group of criminals, who were saved by demons by getting a portion of their blood, formed the Octave organization. Although they had a fast growth rate and some of the power of demons, they also had a glaring weakness. If they didn't level up faster, their lifespan would be sucked by their demon energy, leading to an early death.

The Octave group committed the demons and established their alliance, but they were ignored until the incident known as the...Octave tragedy, which almost wiped 50% of the human population from the face of the world.

Now, coming back, the octave planned to start a second tragedy. 

And for that, they need a material called Shining Hellstone. Although the name sounds a bit evil, in the eyes of the people this stone is used to improve an artefact of mid to high rank only once.

But in the eyes of the Octavian group, this stone was a treasure to create a weapon of mass destruction.

And the funny thing is that the people and the Alliance still did not know the real purpose of this stone, otherwise, it would not be in this treasury, but in a more safer place.

This stone had the capacity to amplify the effects of any energy and also can compress any size of energy to a considerable amount. This was the true effect of this stone.

And the Octaves want to use this stone to amplify the destructive aspect of demon energy and then store it in large quantities to create a type of Bomb, which can deal serious damage to even those in Transcendent Level in the future war.

Humanity's blunder had almost wiped out it out of existence, but luckily for them, there are not many stones of this kind present in the current timeline.

It had almost become extinct from this earth. And unlucky for them is that the only piece that can be found now, is currently here and the Octavian group has already planned a way to steal the stone and not be pursued by the alliance.

And they would send a group of people with one emperor, ten transcendents, and almost hundreds of lower ranks.

And the one who would allow them a chance to invade was none other than Derek who had been brainwashed and became crazy.

Azul was looking at these treasures with a calm look in his eyes, which was in contrast with others.

Even Freya and others had a little look of excitement in their eyes.

Well, it is a fact that Azul was a prince and he was not ignorant of matters when it comes to treasures.

He also knew that these treasures that they were seeing were just the treasures in the vicinity.

Although they are precious, they are not as precious as the treasures in the core part of the museum.

And besides, after he had seen that golden spear in that vision, these treasures became too dull to catch his eyes.

Suddenly, Azul felt danger, His instincts told him that there was danger and he should run away!

He turned his head to look in the direction where Derek was and saw that he held the knife.

Azul moved towards Derek as soon as he saw him with his full power at the limit, as he wanted to stop Derek from what he was doing!

But alas, He was a step slow.

Just has he reached him, Derek had Sliced his arm off, and a black ring with an unassuming and dull black colour fell off to the ground from his arm.

Instantly Azul felt a disturbance in space for just a single moment and after that, his instinct moved him instantly far away from the place he had just been.

Bang!

The place he had just been at exploded with a bang.

Looking at that place he saw Derek who had just exploded into countless pieces!

But then he saw the sky and the space around the area.

What he saw made his pupils constrict!

On the ground, there were hundreds of people in black clothing. And in the sky, there were 20 or more people!

Standing at the front was a man with blue hair and blue eyes looking at them with a sinister expression with the aura of an emperor Laughing!

"You all shall die!" 

He declared.
