I groaned as I opened my eyes to find myself in a large metal dog crate. When I looked around, I gasped in shock when the chubby face of a little boy looked back at me from the cage next to mine.

The boy had to be at least three or four with rust-colored hair, freckle-covered pale skin, and big blue eyes. The poor boy was curled up in a ball with his thumb in his mouth.

There was a shuffling sound from behind me. I turned around to find more large cages filled with people of all different ages, colors, and sizes. One of them was a large man with dark chocolate skin, thick black hair, and big brown eyes.

Diagonal to him was a young girl, possibly around ten, with short black hair, tanned skin, and brown eyes. Across the room was a boy around my age with long dark brown hair, green eyes, and lightly tanned skin.

All of them were completely naked in their crates, with no signs of food or water anywhere close by.

I was startled when the door opened, and when I turned around, I saw a man entering the room. This man was around my father's age, wearing black priest robes, a white collar, and a giant cross hanging from his neck.

The man was at least six feet tall and extremely skinny, with light tan skin, big hazel eyes, short salt and pepper-colored hair, and a well-trimmed beard. He turned in my direction when he stepped inside, smiling when he saw I was awake.

My eyes narrowed in on the black stick in his hand. The asshole shoved the stick through the cage and shocked me, making me whimper in pain.

That freaking stick was a damn cattle prod.

"Hello, little wolf, my name is Father Lucas. I want you to shift back now, little female." He said, with another jab of the prod.

He looked me up and down when I shifted back, taking in every inch of my naked body with lust-filled eyes.

"What do you think of my collection so far?" He said, motioning to the others, "I found the boy just the other day curled up next to his dead mother, who had been shot by a farmer. The farmer actually thought she was a regular fox until she shifted back. The farmer called me, and that's when I found the boy." He explained, "Soon I will have enough evidence to prove to the world that demons walk this earth," he said with an evil smile, " They all need to be purged from this world."

"We were created to save the world from people like you, not destroy it like you damn white skins," growled the dark-skinned man.

Anger filled Father Lucas's eyes as he stalked over to the dark-skinned man, then stabbed him with the cattle prod. The man gasped in pain, making the young girl whimper in fear.

"Let me tell you a story," says Father Lucus, pacing the floor as he talked, "Once upon a time, there was a young woman who was kidnapped by a snake, and do you want to know what the horrible snake did to her? She was abused! And raped! "He shouted, " The snake beat her and kept her tied up in his basement! She was only sixteen!" He yelled, "I refuse to accept this demon inside of me! I won't stop until every skinwalker demon is wiped from this earth."

I would be mad at the world, too, if I had been born of rape, but the actions of one evil man don't count for all the good-hearted people in this world.

When Father Lucas left, I reached through the crate, taking the young boy's hand. I closed my eyes and, for the first time, prayed to the Great Spirits, "Please help Clay find me."
