1 The Box

Finally, the party is over.

As a Princess herself, celebrating her 18th birthday lasts a couple of weeks. Good thing the final celebration was held at their Palace Garden.

During these couple of weeks preparing for her 18th birthday, she's also preparing for her college entrance exam by her parents that she was allowed to enter the university. Then, she will stay in a dormitory for four years.

She wanted to jump in excitement right now!

But she was tired already. So Harrah dropped herself into her princess bed.

Ahhh... so lovely! She rolled out on her fluffy pink bed.

Before her debut party, she had different Photoshoots in different places in the passing weeks. This is because she has been so dead tired afterward, especially from changing outfits. But she does enjoy it a lot!

Her debut parties continued for a whole week. Firstly, she visited a hospital for children that specialized in cancer cases. Her family, under her name, donated a considerable amount to the said hospital to treat its less fortunate patients who cannot afford the procedures and medicines.

She also visited the UN Armed Forces, including the Naval and Marines from Europe... In addition, known artists were invited to perform on that "Meeting the Princess."

Not only that but also, she visited schools for children who need special care.

Harrah smiled when she remembered all those visitations, as she enjoyed them much more than meeting the aristocrats and wealthy families all over the world on her debut.

She requested donations for her birthday presents instead of giving more to unfortunate children who needed treatment. She hosted an Auction two days ago for it.

But in all she does, she desires to fly the African continent. She wanted to visit the land... but she was prohibited.

One of her cousins, like a brother to her, is one of the ministers of the United Nations. No one will harm her just like that.

That is why she will give her donations from her birthday presents to the UNICEF Foundation. Catriona Gray, her dear friend, is the current ambassador of that foundation. She is the former Ms. Universe 2018 and now continues her advocacy to give more smiles to children even if they live in poverty.

She giggles and covers her face with her favorite Hello Kitty pillow. But, of course, she knew that Albert liked Catriona and they were perfect for each other! So she will root for them both!

Harrah sighed. She wished that she could travel the world freely, that there were no security measures anywhere she went. She heaves another sigh. She got up from her bed, then stridden outside to witness the night sky.

It is peaceful and beautiful. The stars also seem to celebrate with her tonight.

She went back to her bed and lay down, closing her eyes. She was already requesting her Dama to disturb her as she wanted to recharge all energy she had lost in these passing months.

Harrah wasn't sure how long she's been sleeping when she heard something from her 200 square meters walk-in closet, not yet including her one hundred square meters bathroom.

"Ugh..." she moans. "Stop. What is it?" She was talking half-sleep.

The noise continued, and it was like calling out to her. Finally, she went back to sleep.

"Harrahina..."

"Your Majesty..."

"Harrahina!"

"Help us!! Please!"

"Have mercy!"

"Harrahina..." a sweet male voice seems whispering in my ears.

"Harrahina... my Queen," the voice echoed inside her bedroom.

"What!?" Harrah sits up from the bed. "What was that?" she asked herself.

Harrah glances at her bedside table, and the clock says it is already 10:30 in the morning; she is still tired. So she picks up her bell and rings it, and her dama right away enters her bedroom.

"Good morning Princess Harrah," Ms. Cathy greetings. She bows and waits for her to give requests.

"I want to soak in the bathtub with warm water."

"Right away, princess," Ms. Cathy replied. She glances to her left shoulder, and the maid behind her immediately goes to the bathroom.

Later on, a soft knock on the bedroom door, then two maids enter the room. One pushes a cart, and the other pours milk into a glass. She picks up the tray slowly and comes close to the bed, and she offers it to her.

She took the glass and drank the milk. Harrah was surprised at how thirsty she was.

"Your bath is ready, milady," the maid informed.

She got down from her bed and went to the bathroom. She soaks herself in the bathtub. She sighed. How nice.

"Do you need a body massage later, Princess?" Ms. Cathy asked.

"Maybe, I will request one if I decide," she's playing with the bubbles.

After one hour, she finished her bath. Ms. Cathy put on her robe, and they entered her walk-in closet. Then she got dressed.

One of her maids notices that a jewelry box is dropped on the floor.

"Princess, one of your jewelry boxes was on the floor," the maid informed her.

She went to her vast dresser and found the jewelry box her dad gave to her on her 15th birthday lying on the floor. Her dad made it himself but said the package would open when she was 18.

The box has carved two dragons and two swords in an X form.
