Ch 9

In a forest, seven women are tracking through a small clearing that seemed to lead to a lake.

As they walk to the lake they had their weapons ready for an attack as they felt something following them but it seemed that their caution was unwarranted as nothing had happened to them even after reaching the lake and put on an act of lowering their guard down as they collect the lake water so they thought it was probably a curious animal following them.

After collecting some drinking water the women got up and were ready to leave when the presence they felt early started to get closer to them so they got their weapons ready for an attack.

As they waited for an attack a pink little cub tiger jumped out of some foliage and looked at them with big cute blue eyes.

Seeing the cute baby tiger the women thought it was cute but they didn't put down their weapons as when there's a cub its mother also shouldn't be far.

The cute pink baby tiger seeing the people it was following wasn't doing anything but standing still it let out a sharp meow before going to them and rubbing itself on their lags playfully.

The women seeing its actions didn't stop it as it was not harming them and even the one whose lag was being rubbed pick it up and looked into its eyes before speaking to the rest of the group.

"Captain can I keep it if it doesn't have a mother." Marisa

Hearing her words the leader looked at the tiger before she gave her an answer.

"No, Marisa, you don't take care of your pets and look at its neck and tail those things on it means it has an owner so you can't have it." Lilian

After denying Marisa's request Lilian looked at a certain direction before speaking up in a loud and clear voice.

"I know you're there! Show yourself!" Lilian

Once Lilian called out a silver hair dark skin 13-14-year-old girl with tribal tattoos walked out of the area that Lilian was looking at wearing tribal clothing while holding an obsidian tip spear making her look like an Amazon.

The girl after walking out the pink tiger struggled its way out of Marisa hug and went to the girl while meowing as it snuggled to the girl's legs.

The girl seeing the tiger actions stabbed her spear on the ground before picking up the tiger and spoke to Lilian and her team.

"Female Warriors, I'm Amazoness Princess, Kyla and I don't mean harem it's just my pet Sasha smelled new scents near my village's territory and we were curious who or what it could be so we followed it fining you." Kyla

Hearing Kyla words and seeing the way she dresses Lilian understood they are near a village probably inhabited by only women and that Kyla is the daughter of their village chief.

Thinking for a bit Lilian understood she couldn't make a decision on how she should approach the village and needed to report to the Duke about her finding but for now, she shouldn't do anything to the village and try to keep a peaceful relationship with the girl in front of her as she has no orders to be hostile to any of the natives just yet.

"Mmm, okay Kyla, I'm Lilian Fullerton, the captain of the Bloody Sisterhood, members of the Valkyrie Workshop, and these women behind me are my sisters in all but blood." Lilian

Kyla listening to Lilian was amazed by Lilian as any warrior with multiple titles should be a strong and/or resourceful monster with multiple forms like the dragon slayer that visited her village before.

After introducing themselves Lilian motioned to everyone in her team to put down their weapons and started to talk to Kyla to get a better understanding of this world so she can be prepared for anything unexpected.

"Kyla, do you know where's the nearest village, town, or city other than your village." Lilian

Hearing Lillian question Kyla though they are lost their way and wanted directions before leaving the forest, but, she doesn't want that as she wanted to befriend them as they look like powerful and cool warriors so she told a white lie in the hopes to spend more time with then.

"Sorry, but I only know how to get to my village and back from here and the nearby villages are also Amazoness Village under the rule of Amazoness Empress, Thalia. Maybe you can come to my village and my mother can help you find where you need to go." Kyla

Hearing Kyla's words Lilian was a bit disappointed with the lack of information but she now understood that the Amazoness people should have a hierarchy system similar to Cainhurst and that if the Duke chooses to fight them or a fight brakes out between the Hunters and Amazoness Cainhurst will be entering a war with what could be a kingdom of tribal warriors that expands the entire forest of unknown size.

After giving it some thought Lilian came up with a plan before she started to speak out loud.

"Okay, we'll like to visit your village but some of my sisters need to go back to our camp and tell the people over there we're going to be late for dinner so they don't worry about us." Lilian

After saying that Lilian picked two of the fastest runners in her team before telling them to go report to the Duke about what they found and to tell him that the rest of them will go to the Amazoness Village and might return tomorrow and give thee report about the natives near there base camp.

After the two go their orders they used Quickening and sprinted back to base camp leaving Lilian and the rest of the team to follow Kyla to the Amazoness Village.

Seeing the two leave Lilian and the rest of her team looked at Kyla waiting for her to take them to her village.

Kyla seeing two of the warrior women using Quickening was amazed and looked at Lilian with sparkles in her eyes as she started to speak excitedly as she started to guide them to her village.

"Miss Fullerton what was the thing they did, it was so cool, they were here a moment ago but then they blurred out of sight then next thing I knew they're somewhere else, can you do that and if so can you teach me!" Kyla

Lilian hearing Kyla speak excitedly to her and with Kyla childish actions of asking to be taught something she found cool Lilian and the others couldn't help but smiled a little as they remembered that they were like Kyla when they first saw Quickening.

Having memories of her past play in her mind Lilian answered Kyla questions to the best of her abilities.

"The two of them were using the art of Quickening, all of us can use it but we can't teach it to outsiders as it's against the Workshops rules." Lilian

After hearing Lilian's response Kyla was a little disappointed as she would love to use Quickening to pull off pranks and run away from her mother when she will get in trouble.

Back at the base camp Gabriel has finished making the basic tents and was watching the Hunters do their jobs and looked at the distance to look at the Hunters who are walking back to the base camp after scouting the surrounding.

As he was looking at the returning Hunters he saw two Huntresses using Quickening to reach the base camp.

Gabriel looking at the two Huntresses remember they belong to the Heroic Spirit candidate team and out of curiosity, he moved to their direction to find out what happened to their team members.

As the two women used Quickening to reach the base camp Gabriel was outside of the base camp just in time for them to stop in front of the camp and face him.

The two women seeing Gabriel was in front of them kneeled down before him before respectively reporting there account with a tribal princess and their captain plan.

Gabriel as he was hearing their report was amazed by their finding and was satisfied with their result.

Once the two women gave their report Gabriel called all the Hunters in the camp and told them about the new discovery while giving a warning to them to not act rashly or they'll be seen as an act against the crown and will be dealt with accordingly.

After giving a warning to the Hunters in the camp Gabriel told the two women to go pick a few Hunters to escort him to the Amazoness Village after their teammates return.

The two women getting their orders agreed to Gabriel arrangements and went to find trustworthy Hunters to escort him.

Gabriel seeing the two leave to find people to escort him went back to the camp and found a tent made for his use before closing it and disappearing back to his Divine Realm to overlook the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster World and the Harry Potter World as he waits for Lilian's team to return to the base camp.
