Pig Sanbu
I don't know what it is about this book, but I feel really attracted to it. Its the same feeling I had when I read World of Deities and I Can See the Lines of Fortune. I hope that it gets picked, but I get these vibes that tell me that it won't. About the story: People, by working out different parts of their body, can unlock genetic points and abilities. But its not always guaranteed or known what you're going to get. The main character, however, is not a reincarnated person and doesn't have a system, but he can look inside himself and unlock the points he wants to as long as he is fully rested. The setting is nothing new, with humans being the underdog and everything bad that happens being blamed on the traitors and extraterrestrial species that attack. It hasn't been that long since people found out about the genetic stuff, only about a few hundred years. The MC, from what I can tell, is loyal, calm, pretty intelligent(but I'd need a few more chapters to really know), and will probably have a harem that will include his teacher. Don't quote me on that. He does have a mysterious meditation method that his parents' teacher gave them, so that might be something that can either make or break the story. In case you're confused about the progression system, it goes something like this: liberator classes F-SS. then you get mutant classes F-SS and so on. There is something called the genetic ceiling which stops people from increasing their class if they haven't gotten there already before. For example, a class d liberator, when evolved, becomes a class f mutant. Then, they can progress until they become a class d mutant, at which point, they will have to become the next stage.
This one is great although I am bit off by Huaxia(it's rather cringe) but what I saw in the novel change my mind altogether. You got to know good intelligent Mc whose personality is rather defined not so bland(At least that's what I see). This novel is quite good better than most and hope that there will be no nationalism.
I have started to read the story and find it very good 😊 but when you bring nationalism I'm very disappointed 😞 with the author for direct bad mouthing of other nationalisms I'm not saying to stop writing about nationalism of others when needed but it too much and it's like you directly cursing the other nationalisms not because story needed it. So I'm saying to stop the bad mouthing of other nationalisms .
im up to chapter 900, and so far its passable. No harem, only single person romance. There isnt that much faceslaping, but the MC is ruthless enough, kills if he needs to and takes revenge when wronged. I have seen pple leave a review saying its racist, but its mostly the MC and those arround him fighting for resources for their own country. As for enemy countries, so far its just india, who dont have that much and are willing to do anything to grow, so naturally they come into conflict with MC. The same thing happens inside of huaxia/china they fight and scheme for resources. So far ive only seen one instance of racism/nationalism and if the author meant it to be propaganda saying huaxia is the best then he failed. The MC's enemies(from huaxia) do much worse on to the MC. I have read novels with real racism were they enslave everyone or author makes all other countries seem evil without any reason and kills them all off.
Nyoibo studio has a very good reputation in webnovel. A human among machines.. I trust this translator for years to delivered good story . it is a good story but nationalism is too strong...i not dissing but in ever apocalypse happen, china and america among the first to fall into chaos.. there many bad karma there
Overall it's a great novel to read with some new perspective regarding cultivation. Here they are combining genetics and cultivation which is interesting and innovative in my perspective. So in my opinion this is worth your time. It's just that why do you need to nationalism in it. You can point at a individual but simply downgrading a whole nation or community is in my opinion a complete game over. If there is not any improvement regarding this then I might drop it.
