Chapter 2— The Arions

I lived among the Arions, they were my family, our clothes were made of silk it was soft and creamy. We had a leader, King Kish of Arion he dwelled among us in wisdom and health, but soon his days were numbered, he had to join his forefathers and so he did.

Prince Kufu, the King's son and heir to the throne, took over the kingship. He was fierce and wicked all he wanted was power and ruler ship, he then made a deal with the devil himself, he was granted a supernatural power beyond anything anyone could imagine. When he returned to Arion something within him had changed, he pretended to be the same King Kufu we all know, but Kara knew something was different. I could see it in his eyes, I always accompanied my father whenever he sold his good kill to the palace.

On every full moon the King would sneak out of the palace into the forest, but I never knew what he did here.

"So many things go on at night my child, all you need to do is pray to the gods and sleep" Mother would say to me. But I was stubborn, one night I followed the King to wherever he was going; I had to see for myself what he was up to.
