106 Even if I will regret loving him

THE CONTINUOUS PANTING OF A MAN is the only thing heard in the quiet room amidst the heaving blowing fan sounds. Even the low whimpers exiting Aubrey's dried lips are barely heard anymore since there is something else in the room making a much louder noise.

Kai's eyes stay furiously glued on the huge black bird, flying above Aubrey's bed as it yells out loud chirps and cracks. Feeling weak from the pain in his guts, he manages to take his hands off his hurting skin and aim at the giant eagle that is big enough to fit in all the space on the ceiling.

"Get down." He commands.

At the sound of his voice, the eagle stops flying around and turns its head to the scary-looking god. Seconds pass and the black eagle with yellow, glowing eyes just stares back at the god without doing anything. Suddenly, it resumes cawing aggressively, lowering itself to use its blade-like claws to rip Aubrey's skin open.
