I wanted to meet the girl involved with me in high school. But I couldn’t help but feel drawn to Piper. I was expecting too much for her to introduce us. What if it wasn’t what I expected? Then again, Piper is engaged. However, she hadn’t mentioned her fiancé. I was curious about him.

/"Who cares about an absent fiancé?/" Kain asked me.

I worked on a cake and glanced at him.

/"My impatient brother is trying to say that it’s not serious if she hasn’t mentioned him,/" Kaiden said.

/"Isn’t it wrong to take an interest in someone attached? Then I have this old girlfriend that I don’t remember and would like to meet,/" I told them.

/"Lex, I know you hit your head. Your brain got bounced around, destroying the memories of people around you. It's a chance to start fresh,/" Kain said.
