Prologue

The Demons have finally found a weakness in the seemingly impenetrable Angel Fortresses: Daxicus. As a round table was being set up for the seven generals of the demons , an announcer announced the arrival of each one

Bezel, General of Greed, was at the head of the table. His golden skin gleamed in the barely lit room, his horns shined with the sparkle of even the brightest diamonds, and his eyes reflected everything with perfect accuracy.

Dazzle, General of Lust, Bezel's twin sister took the right-hand side of the table with the same golden color as her brother while lacking his horns and eyes. Instead, she sported a blindfold and hair made out of chains.

Zaunx, General of Wrath, took the left side of the table was a short fellow with an open head that constantly oozed lava. His skin was white as stone, and he sported four faces, each with a different emotion. Kregos, General of Sloth, who was at the foot of the table was currently sleeping on a lounge chair. his head floated an inch away from his head with fire coming from the opening , his face blank as a slate. The rest of his body was black with cracks of color. Slavise, General of Envy, leaned on a beam in the shadow of the meting room with only his piercing red heart and smile being visible. Grandos, General of Gluttony, was seated at a feast enjoying the finest delights of hell. Muscular and tough his brown skin contrasted his red hair and pitch black horns. The final general, The General of Pride ???, was currently standing at where the laid out plans where. where his head should be was a ring of condensed energy with his body was shadowy like his little brother Slavise.

??? got the attention of the other generals before they began to go through the plan. A group of trained demons will get their wings and horns removed and infiltrate Daxius as humans. Then they will bring demon babies that would be used as sacrifices once inside to summon a portal so that the rest of the demon forces could invade. With the approval of the other six generals the plan was set into fruition.

The Demons were ready after a year of preparations they were ready to invade Daxius. Eight demon couples where chose for the invasion plan each with their own children. As they were transported towards the fortress the demon generals began to cackle over their ingenious plan.

Nothing of note has happened in the last year. The demon raids became nonexistent almost over night with the last one being over a year ago. I hooped this would spell the relaxing of the guard but instead lead to increased patrolling and vigilance. As I made my fifth round of surveillance a shout brought my attention. I quickly flew towards the sound. It seemed to be a human craven that was being attacked by demonic beast. I quickly casted imbune on to my spear and got to work on the beasts.

It wasn't to hard to gain the trust of our "savior " quickly I explained our predicament towards the guard. He easily believed our story. As we where shepherd towards the fortress I got my self ready to begin the ritual. The babies chosen for this where recently born and as such didn't show the telltale demon signs. Once we got inside we quickly broke our facade ad the ritual burst with power with the other 7 babies used to allow normal demons to enter the portal. Before I could sacrifice the last baby my world went black.

The angel fortress was in chaos as the angels tried to protect the humans inside while vanquishing the Demons bursting through the gate. It was during this chaos that one of the shield maidens picked up a bundle and fled the scene of chaos.
