1 Chapter 1 - I Am Back

In a small dilapidated alley, a dark portal suddenly appeared, from which came out a tall, handsome young man who seemed to be in his early twenties, wearing ancient and divine looking black dragon robes. Along with his long black hair tied into a ponytail and the black jade crown on it made him look an ancient war god.

" Never thought I'll be back here again "

He walked out of the deserted alley and observed his surroundings. Huge skyscrapers, different types of buildings all around, people wearing suits and dresses moving from place to place, all in all a well developed modern city bustling with activity. No one seemed to notice him wearing those dragon robes as if his presence was not there at all.

He looked towards a certain direction and narrowed his eyes, " she seems to be there ". It took him about half an hour to reach a dark blue mansion. He walked toward the door and pressed the doorbell. He waited for less than a minute before the door opened and a beautiful fairy like girl in a lovely skirt stepped out, who suddenly blushed slightly upon seeing the handsome man before her.

She has long black hair with bangs falling on her forehead, honey brown eyes, sweet baby pink lips and a lovely face. She's atleast a D-cup.

' She must be Luna. I think she's 18 by now. '

That seemed to bring her out of her daze and she blushed even more before saying, " yes, that's my mother. What can I do for you, sir? "

He extended his hand and said, " I'm Vinny. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. "

She held his hand, still a little flustered, and said, " My name is Luna. Nice to meet you too. "

" Can you bring me to your mother? I got something for her. "

" huh? O-okay, please follow me. "

She brought him to what looks like a study where they a beautiful mature woman with shoulder length black hair sat on a leather sofa working on her laptop. She's an E-cup atleast. She was engrossed in her work that she haven't even noticed the two of them enter.

Seeing her, Vinny's eyes turned a little moist before he regained his emotions and turned to his impassive cold look.

' She looks as if she hasn't aged a day since the last time I saw her. She still looks cute even though she's in her 40s. ' Vinny lightly smiled internally.

" Mom? " ( Luna )

" Yes honey. Is it already time for lun- ", she stopped mid sentence as she looked at the young man in front of her, wide eyed and her face pale.

" It's been a while Madam Gray", said Vinny in a cold voice, " Hope you're doing 'well'? ", the sarcasm in his tone quite obvious.

" Y-You are ? ", Evelyn stammered a little due to disbelief and shock.

" Right, how can you remember someone whom you abandoned 19 years ago, after all I am a lot different from how I was from back then ", said Vinny with a cold look.

" Vinny! ", said Evelyn, with tears threatening to fall out of her beautiful dark blue eyes.

" No wonder you established a company which now stands in one of top 500 companies in the world. You're a genius with a great memory that you can even remember such an insignificant thing like me. ", said Vinny with a mocking tone.

" I'm not here to find out why you did what you did and I most certainly do want your apologies and excuses. Neither am I here to ask you to do something for me. But, what I do want to know is how much did Dawn's condition worsened and how long more does she have? ", said Vinny.

" How did yo- ", Evelyn was cut short.

" How did I find out about it ? That, you do not need to know. Rather, answer my question before I lose my patience. ", said Vinny in an authoritative tone.

" Wait, wait, what's going on? ", Luna was rather confused with the fast paced events just now.

" Luna, can you please go to your room for now? I need to talk to Vinny for awhile. ", Evelyn asked, no, almost pleaded Luna.

" She can stay if she want to. After all, it's about her sister anyway. " ( Vinny )

" Alright. It all started a month ago when one day Dawn suddenly got weak all of a sudden and completely paralyzed from neck to toes. I took her to many specialists but none could treat her. According to their diagnosis and scanning reports, her nervous system is continuously breaking apart and she can't do anything except talk. And they said she only has 2 months left and it's already been a month. ", by the end tears rolled down continuously on Evelyn's pretty face.

Vinny really wanted to take her into his arms and console her but he still maintained his cold look as if he wasn't the least bit concerned about.

He lightly sighed and said, " Take me to her room. "

She took us to the room right next to indoor pool. She knocked on the door and entered together with Vinny and Luna. It was a luxurious pink princess room in which on the huge baby pink bed lies a beautiful blonde teenage girl about 16 years old.

Upon seeing her, Vinny's cold look faded and replaced by a doting expression.
