Tabitha dared not to open her eyes.

She was the only one left to stand in the sidelines, forced to witness another woman's  daring conquest over the man she thought she could have. She stood there shaking all over—her knees were making her weak while her fingers quivered, wanting too much to strangle Simione's neck. Even her breathing was unsteady and each exhale was with an invisible smoke of her fuming anger that she tried very hard to control.
