The gods of Mesopotamia

This is the prequel to a book I am writing titled Elemental Nexus. It should come out this year. This book is a book on the mesopotamian mythology. It will have some other non mesopotamians like Musashi miyamoto, Sekhmet, Zeus, Odin etc. It might be confusing at first but when Elemental Nexus comes out you will understand it. I put the genre as history because that's the closest thing to mythology. So ya sit back and enjoy. This epic tale weaves together the mesmerizing tapestry of Mesopotamian mythology, exploring the creation of the cosmos, the birth of deities, and the extraordinary exploits of legendary figures. The story commences with the birth of Tiamat, the primordial goddess, and follows her tumultuous journey through love, loss, and the creation of the first generation of gods. As the cosmic drama unfolds, witness the separation of Tiamat and Apsu, giving rise to the pantheon that governs the heavens and the earth. The narrative cascades through generations, delving into the lives of deities such as Anu, Enlil, and Enki, exploring their divine lineage and the cosmic events that shaped their destinies. The gods' encounters with other pantheons add depth to the narrative, revealing the intricate connections between different realms. The climactic battle, where Marduk wields a mythical katana against the chaos dragon, unravels a saga of bravery, sacrifice, and the forging of a new cosmic order. And also in a non canon event manner what happens when marduk plans on destroying humanity the race he once loved and cherished. "The Gods of Mesopotamia" is a magnum opus that brings to life the rich mythology of an ancient civilization. With its intricate storytelling, vivid characters, and cosmic landscapes, the book invites readers into a world where gods shape destinies, mortals seek transcendence, and the tapestry of existence is woven with threads of divine intrigue and mortal valor. This epic tale transcends time, offering readers an immersive experience into the heart of Mesopotamian mythology, where gods and mortals coalesce in a dance that echoes through the ages.

The legend of Musashi Miyamoto

Zack had exclusive use of the master bedroom. The bed was very spacious, with a fireplace and a window overlooking the village. The room included shelves brimming with literature, a desk with a computer, fox masks, samurai armor on display, and a katana in a glass case that he was probably not going to use. He was unaware that the gathering scheduled for tomorrow was likely to be a celebration of Kitsunes or the Japanese New Year.

As he snapped his fingers while lying on the enormous bed, blue flames encircled his palm. As they danced in his hands, he increased his energy and began to feel the heat from the flames. His hands clinched, extinguishing the blaze.

This was his power; it was a natural ability of his, and he intended to utilize it to avenge evildoers. Before long, he dozed off and awoke in a fully grown man's body. His ebony locks were secured in a traditional ponytail. Along with a grey hakama and tabi socks, he was dressed in a bluish gray kimono. He was carrying a sword and a dagger. His daito, a copper Damascus sword, was that weapon. Pulling his dagger out of its sheath. The blade was short and had a red and blue scabbard. He didn't know where he was. The dream had such a lifelike quality. He was in a Zen garden, sitting cross-legged.

A dark stone rested on his hand. His energy was absorbed by the stone, and an aura enveloped him. His actions were completely unplanned; he paused and began to reflect. And he spotted an Asian woman. A platter of food was being held by a woman with long black hair, dressed in a kimono. She was stunningly gorgeous—so much so that he was staring at her without realizing it.

In Japanese, she said, "Musashi, anything wrong?"

She let go of the tray, and he said, "Oh nothing," surprising himself. He smelled the delicious aroma of rice and sauce.

"Still performing Alchemy on the stone huh" she asked

He was unaware that alchemy existed at the time.

"Well, I have to at least try," the words literally slid from his tongue.

"Well eat up the military conference will begin soon" she told me.

She reminded him of somebody.

He ate until his heart's content. He placed the stone in a wooden box and stored it in a cabinet. He quickly prepared to leave for the conference.

"Hope it goes well," she replied with a beautiful smile.

Then it clicked: she was his wife, and her smile reminded him of Chloe. He reddened and walked away.

As he left the house, the chilly Japanese air flooded his lungs. It was the Spirit Village. It hadn't aged much at all. Everyone greeted him with waves. When he arrived at the king's palace, nothing had changed. There was a table and several other generals were present.

"I'm glad you could join us, Miyamoto," remarked the monarch.

He had Zack's hair and gold-colored attire.

"King Anihoto, nice of you to have me" remarked the man.

"Its always a pleasure to have Japan's greatest swordsman in our midst take a seat" stated the King

He was the world's greatest swordsman, which he found cool.

He took a seat, and the conference began.

"We have news, Hiroshi todoroki is going to attack by sunrise tomorrow, he says he wants to destroy the kitsune statues." Said the king

"Blasphemy," declared a general.

"Exactly, he is fighting a fool's war. The kitsunes cannot be killed," remarked Miyamoto.

"Even though we need to draw defensive strategies and lines" stated the monarch.

The generals began expressing their opinions. Miyamoto strongly disagreed with them since some were irresponsible or dumb. They all decided on an ambush. Hinotoki will not expect an ambush. There was an underground bunker designed for disasters like this. They concluded the meeting cheerfully. That night, they ordered a wholesale evacuation of the hamlet, leaving it empty.

The soldiers were numbered 2745. Towers were erected, and sniper bowmen were stationed throughout to check if Hinotokis men were approaching. Miyamoto slept at the barracks. At 6 a.m., a horn blew. His guys were within sight. They all went into their hiding spots. Hinotoki entered the city with a large army of 5000 troops. The first plan was established. Yokai, oni, and ghosts attacked the enemy troops. When they were distracted, they attacked, significantly outnumbering the Hinotoki soldiers. They all succumbed to Miyamotos Daito and Shoto. Their numbers dwindled like mosquitos in a bug spray-filled room. He eliminated Hinotoki, and the war was won. His soldiers retreated. There was a large celebration, and that night there was a solar eclipse.

That night, the monarch summoned the miyamoto. They walked into the valley. There was a kitsune statue.

"For your great help in the battle, the guardian kitsune of the Ocean has chosen you as a host" according to the king.

Miyamoto accepted. The statue broke, and a ball of blue penetrated him. He felt a wave of energy enter him. The solar eclipse began, and his eyes were hideous.

"The kitsune all have hosts now, When you die it goes to the next person worthy" according to the king.

Miyamoto's eyes restored to normal when the eclipse ended.

**************

1645 was a year that changed the world. Miyamoto found himself on the battlefield in full samurai armor, there was a war waging around him. A battle of gods mortals and spirits. His rival was a God. He had long white hair, his eyes were thunder gray. He held a katana crackling with lightning and he grinned.

"Greatest swordsman in all of Japan huh" said the God in fluent Japanese.

Miyamoto didn't really fear death, but this God had a demonic presence.

They clashed, Miyamotos strikes calm and fluid like water. The gods divine body granted him an edge parrying Miyamotos strikes. He raised his hands and a wave hit the God,he took the hit and swung his katana, their legendary blades clashed.

Then lightning hit Miyamotos legs shattering them. As the god drew near, he swung his weapon scarring the gods on the ribs. He looked in awe. A mere mortal had injured him, before he could finish miyamoto off, a figure appeared taking miyamoto out of there

"Damn you scorpio " yelled the God

Scorpio Zack's father. Zack was speechless.

"Long time no see marduk " said scorpio

As he turned around to look at miyamoto face, the dream shattered like glass.
