4 Rapid Fire Round

After 4 hours, Dreamer woke up.

"Damn. I was sleeping on the ground." He stretched his hands and sat on the bed.

'So, you woke up. It's been four hours.'

"Heh. You are still here, huh. I guess it wasn't a dream after all." Dreamer said. He thought it was just a dream after waking up there would be no voice.

Nevertheless, he finally accepted it as a reality.

"So, who are you? Incarnation of my thoughts?" Dreamer asked.

'Hah. I thought you would never ask about me.' The voice said. It seemed relieved.

But Dreamer just needed answers. "Just tell me who you are."

'Alright. My name is Helix Curl and I am the soul of the Mythical Ring, not everyone can wear me, only the worthy ones can have me. I can do ma…'

"Wait a second." Dreamer interrupted. "Only worthy ones? Haha. Sorry then, because you have been delivered to the wrong address. I am not even worthy of wearing a normal grade ring, talk about mythical grade."

Dreamer was a weak, fragile kid with no powers. No way he would be worthy of a mythical ring.

'You're right. You are a shit of weak scum.' Helix said. Straight to the point.

"You don't have to say it like that. You should have just called me shit. What's with this detail about shit of a weak scum." Dreamer felt bad after hearing that. But Helix wasn't wrong so he let it go.

"So when you know that I am shit. Then how am I worthy?"

'You see, normally, if an unworthy person wears me in my full power, he will blow up and die.

But, when the last person, Histus, who was wearing me, got betrayed and ambushed by his own people and ten thousand other powerful beings including Gods and Demons, he knew all those people had come for me or the ring.

He fought well and killed seventy percent of the people who had come to attack him.

But as the fight went on he figured he can't win, so he used all his remaining life force and magic power for sealing my prowess and as a result, I fell asleep.

After that, he sent me somewhere in the apocalypse and who knows how much time I was asleep for.'

"I see. So how did you wake up?" Dreamer asked.

'It's because of you. When your blood touched me, I felt warm and as the power within weapons of the Kings got mixed with your blood, some of my powers returned as well. And along with my powers, I came back too.' Helix explained how he came back and went silent.

Dreamer knitted his brows and digested the story.

Eventually, he spoke again. "That's why the ring lit up now after all these years. But what happened to the guy who sent you away? I mean, Histus. Is he alive or dead?

And what about the ten thousand people who came to kill him? Are they still in search of you?

What about this system? How did you come to my dad? How did you transported me outside of the hospital?

And when the weapons were going to collide how the hell was I flying towards them? Was that also your doing? And you still haven't told me how am I worthy to wear you? Tell me."

Dreamer threw a barrage of questions at Helix.

'Calm down, kid. We are not playing a rapid-fire question game. I'll tell you.' Helix remained calm and answered Dreamer's questions.

'About Histus. Well, he must be dead because he was surrounded by many enemies. It is very unlikely that he would have survived seeing how he used all his remaining power to send me away. Yeah, he is dead. Forget about him.' Helix moved on.

'The people who came to kill Histus and take me away, would still be looking for me. Fortunately, I was asleep and my power was sealed so they would be unable to sense me.

But now that I am awake with some of my power as well, they will be able to sense me, if they come close to you.'

"So I am in danger?" Dreamer asked.

'Yes. You are. Good luck.' Helix replied indifferently.

"Good luck?" Dreamer frowned. "What the hell are you talking about? My life is hanging because of you and you are just wishing me luck."

'Calm down, kid. It'll be fi…'

"Fuck you." Dreamer roared. He stood up from bed.

"When Histus, who was worthy of you, who was so strong that he killed seventy percent of the forces including Gods and Demons, still died against them. Then how the hell will I stay alive if they came after me?"

There was no way Dreamer could even fight them, talk about defeating them.

If they came for Helix again he would surely die.

'First of all, they don't know that I am back. So they won't come after you right away.

And Histus died because he made mistakes, he thought everyone was the same as him, kind and all. But he was wrong.

In the end he was betrayed. I warned him again and again but he didn't listen so he died by his own fault. You just don't have to repeat the same mistakes and you'll be fine. I'll help you.'

Dreamer heard Helix and sat back down on the bed.

"I am still not fully convinced but I guess I have no choice. I hope you can do good things."

'That's more like it. I can do many things. You'll see.'

"Alright. Setting aside the matter with Histus, what about the system and other things I asked?" Dreamer wanted to know all and Helix replied as well.

'The moment I woke up, many things flooded in my mind about this system.

Things like, what is my role here? What I had to do with you? How will the system help me?

This system is now connected to me, I can do anything I want to help you get stronger and the system will also help you in its own way. It's good for you.'

"Who made such a thing? It looks hard to make."

'It is. This type of thing can only be done by a being of higher existence with great power, you will know everything at the right time, just know that this system will help you to grow stronger.' Helix gave a vague answer.

"Of course I need to grow stronger otherwise the people looking for you will kill me. But this being of higher existence, is he the Supreme One, you are talking about?"

'No. It wasn't the Supreme One. In fact, I don't know who made this. I just saw a black silhouette and that's it. I tried to see, I tried to look but the result was the same.

It was like a huge hand was stopping me to not look so I gave up. But I am sure you will get to know about its identity.' Helix said what he could.

Dreamer didn't like the answer but he let it go as well. "Fine. Carry on."

'Alright. I will answer all at once. Don't interrupt.' Helix warned.

Dreamer shrugged. "Sure."

'About your father. I was entrusted with him. He had to give me to you. And when you meet him you will know more.

And it was not me who teleported you outside the hospital's door and it was not me who sent you flying towards the weapons either. To be honest, I don't know who did that.

Now about being worthy, you are worthy of me because of your fate, your destiny, your heart, and most importantly your soul. That's all. It's over.'

Helix answered the questions and it seemed like he wouldn't answer anything further.

Dreamer took all that inside his head and sighed. "Alright, Helix. I will leave it to fate, and all this happened because of my curiosity.

If I hadn't gone to see the battle between them, I would have been at ease. But now it is not possible.

I have to get stronger. I will not give you to any of those bastards because you are something my father was entrusted with. I will use this system to the fullest. And also, those two Kings…"

Dreamer clenched his fists.

"They didn't even see me when I was between them. They threw their weapons knowing full well that the impact will destroy everything.

And when I was flying towards the weapons, they just stood there. I even cried for help. They didn't bat an eye at that. I will make sure to teach them how to behave. Just you wait."

Dreamer's eyes burned brightly and at the same time, they were dark.

He made up his mind and now he won't go back.

Helix silently heard Dreamer's vow. 'You remind me of someone.' He said.

"Who?" Dreamer asked.

'Never mind. Anyway, it looks like the System knows the future. It's like, it knows what you will do after getting it. It has prepared something from the start. Here…'

Dreamer didn't get what Helix said but then a familiar sound rang inside his head.
