1 Magical Coin

Two pair of eyes devoid of emotions, even thou awake with his mind amiss off it go to another world. A bad start for a bad day, everything he sees pisses him off. Like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, he stares motionless at the ceiling for hours. He was dreaming awake, trying to find an escape to this reality.

Ring!

A phone's ringing broke his thoughts. His mind became clear as he finds himself back in his room. Gino looked at his phone. It was his father calling him.

"Hi Dad, is there a problem?" He asked, his father never calls him except when there is a problem.

"Your classmates called me, asking me if you will go to the practice, do you have any plans of attending?" His father sounds worried about him. His son never attended practices without getting in an argument with his classmates.

" I rather stay here that go there, I don't feel like practicing with them" It was somewhere he doesn't fit in. He said his goodbye and ended the call.

"It was better to be alone where I can find comfort and solitude," He thought. Being alone does not mean you are lonely. Sometimes it was just peaceful that way, without those things that burden you.

He moved on to do his daily routine. "Hoodie and Shorts will do the trick" He said leaving the house. It made him asked now where to go? He pulled a bunch of coins and bills from his pocket, it was clearly not enough to last him the day.

He found himself in a nearby park where people minding their own lives not noticing him. He sat at the edge of the fountain wondering how much longer will this day go on. He looked at the giant clock at the opposite end if the park, he looked at it, just observing the movement of each hand.

Ding!

Hours passed the clock striked 12 o'clock. "It was noon already?" He muttered. Pulling a coin from his pocket, he fidgeted for a while before loosing interest.

Flip! Flop!

As the coin drops inside the fountain. "I know you're no wishing well or magical fountain but please hear my wish and take me where I belong" He said. Not noticing the golden glow from the coin as it vanished from the water.

It was time for him to leave. As he was crossing the pedestrian lane a loud honking noise came from his left. A loose car was meters away from him. The blinding lights from the car was the last thing be saw.

Bang!

"Cold, cold why is it so cold?" He thought. The world slowly lose its color as the crimson red covered it all. His crimson blood spread across the street as the people surrounded him. They didn't do anything other that bring there phones and took pictures. "What has this world become?" His last words whispers away with the breeze.

His soul slowly slips away.
