1 the escape

* editors note- I apologize for poor grammar and missed spelling... grammar not my strongest... I hope you enjoy my first story*****

The full moon has reached the highest point and shined bright above the dark Forest. The air was still and the ground damp beneath my feet. I ran as fast as my two legs could take me, never looking back.

"FASTER! WE CANNOT LOOSE HER!"

They were getting closer and closer. I pushed my self forward faster. I had to escape, I had to get free... I had to be close. It felt like I've been running for hours my legs growing tired but I knew, I knew if I stopped even for a moment they would find me and capture me.

Branches whipped across my face I barely felt the sting... I was so close... I could see it now. I gathered everything I had and raced forward.... I just had to make it across the river and I would be free....

The roaring water sparkled in the moon light, envitimg but deadly. the river had rocky shores and fast current. it cut threw the land dividing it by two... it represent the border of the lands. the other land held my freedom, my escape... I would be free!

I broke from the tree line to the rocky shore of the great river.... I closed my eyes 'Goddess on your night grant me strangth to taste freedom...' I pushed hard against the ground, pushing my self into the air. I felt my bones pop and fur cover my body the wind kissing it as it brushed against me.

My four paws touched the smooth sand as I landed on the other side of the river and shifted as I sprinted into the trees leaving behind my prison finally free...

Little did I know what lied on the other side of this river or what the Goddess her self had planned for me.....
